I haven't been watching this serial lately so i am totally confused...Why did Mr. Walia blamed Bani and send her to mental hospital???

Basically Pia planned all this, she has a CD which apparently has sahil confessing that if he dies Bani is the one hu wanted to kill him.

So Pia used this to get jai.. so instead of Bani goin in for life imprisonment or death.. she went to the Mental house for 5 years...
