I am a bit confused here... Since when do gynaecologists need to know the EXACT name and address of the father of the child especially when the motheri s already married?
I would presume that the obvious conclusion would be that the child is Pia's husband's and the name Pushkar Shukla would have been entered.
Unless of course, the gynaecologist knows definitely that she is immoral person, ...a s*** who sleeps around...etc.
The father's name is only really needed to be confirmed when the baby is born and is registered.
The writers need to get someone to proof read the scenarios so that they are realistic!
