Sometimes a very short yet brilliantly executed scene can convey so much! The scene in which the three sisters are sitting in the Bedroom and Bani is telling them how Dubai helped her and Jai rediscover their marriage and the Love she has for him was just one of these!
A brilliant sequence where Bani hands over some clothes to Pia that she got as a gift from Dubai, as Pia is taking those clothes and walking off, Bani notices that her "Maangteeka" which is a symbol of Marriage and Married Life, is strewn between Pia's clothes......This indicated that for a moment, Bani's Suhaag was with someone else!
Bani very gently yet firmly stops Pia and asks her teasingly, "Mera Maangteeka lek kar kahan jaa rahi ho Piya, mujhe meri Suhaag wapas de do." Translated, Bani asks Pia where is she going with her "Maangteeka" and that she wants it back!
As a shocked Pia very hesitatingly and haltingly takes the piece of jewllery from her clothes and hands it back to Bani, who has her plams outstretched.....Bani says that a woman can share everything, but her "Suhaag" and that this is the only thing which is truly and only hers and that nothing in the World can make her give up what is truly hersš
If Symbolism is anything to go by, then I think Bani indicated that she is not giving up Jai for anything in the World, not even Pia!
I just love this new Bani, she smiles, she laughs, she jokes, she teases, she is strong, she is sure and she is confident and yes, full of Love.....š³
I mean if Jai doesn't fall for her hook, line and sinker, I wonder who else will he fall for???
Btw, Bani today promises herself that she is going to get Krishna back in her and Jai's life......Ok Jai....Time for some action now!šš
Cheers,
MT
