CHAPTER 16:
-Everyone is ready for the wedding. Jai is already sitting at the mandap with his ever faithful brother and best friend at his side. Massi and Dadi come and join eeryone at the mandap. Seeing Massi and Dadi, Jai knows that Bani is ready and the ceremony is about to begin. Jai is just thinking what a great job Bani and the girls did for the decorations and all the other preperations for the wedding. He is touched to see that Bani included his favorites into the wedding as well. There were lillies all over, they were Jais favorite flower.-
Setting-
(just so u can picture what the place actually looks like.)
The garden is very unique. To get to the garden u need to take the back terrace. The doors that open to the garden area are huge antiqe/royal looking doors. It is made of oak, but a light shade. It is light brown and is hand carved with very special entriqute designs. It has a hint of gold on it to complement the sun in the day time. Once you step outside on both sides are marbel path ways lined with beautiful plants, and flowers, and royal looking benches. The marbel is white marbel, w/ gold flecks. Then u see a set of wide stairs, but it only has 10 steps, again they are also white marbel. Once u walk up the steps u see the garden. It is a huge garden. The middle is clear for people to walk and enjoy in. But on both sides are flowers and trees. The most beautiful flowers and colors are there. IT truly looks like paradise. Towards the back there is a large water fountain. With the light on it, the fountain looks heavenly. For the wedding there is the mandap about only 60ft from the fountain. The mandap is decorated in the wedding colors, gold and white but there a accents of pink in it as well. The poles are decorated with white and gold mesh netting/lace with strings of pink eads circling the lace. The top is a lovely gold with pink and white beads hanging down from it. All around u can see orchids and lillies everywhere. The favorite of our dulha and dulhan. The are intertwined sympolizing the union of the two. There are family and friends surrounding the mandap. Ofcourse in the middle you see the sacred fire burning with power and passion. You also see white lights. They are like the white christmas lights. Everything cobined makes this look like a fairy tale wedding. Everythign is perfect, especiallythe groom *wink wink*
*ok back ot the story*
Jai is wating patiently. He is nervous but also hapy. He has a feeling like everythign is going to ge ok. He feels happy and stress free. He hasn't felt like this…well he cant even remember. Just was he was going to ask Aditya what was taking so long, he dosent see the gates open. From where he is sitting he cant see whats happening just below by the stairs.
Then, he hears it. A faint but very distinct sound, cham cham, cham cham. He turns his attention to where the sound is coming from. He cant see them but he knows that is Bani. He knows that she is wearing the payalls that he gave her. Jai turns to Sahil and Adi and sees that everyone is staring at the stairs and they all have smiles on their faces. He then turns and…
Jai loses the ability to breath. (well not just Jai but Sahil and Adi as well..ill get to them later)…Jai sees Bani. She looks like an angel. The outfit he picked was perfect on her. Infact her just wearing it enhances its beauty. She decked up in jewelary and makeup. She is looking at the ground because she is embaraced/shy. She was holding up her gagra because it was long and would be swepping the floor if she didn't hold it up. It was up just beyond her ankles. This gives Jai clear view of the payalls on her. They look beautiful on her. Better then he had eer imagined. Bani was getting closer and so what that sweet sound…cham cham, Cham Cham, CHam Cham, CHAm CHAm, CHAM CHAM!!!!!....he could listen to it all day…
When Bani finally sat next to him, Jai saw her close up. Again all ability to think, talk, breath went out the window….
*ok guys time to see ka Adi aur Sahil ka kya haal hai*
Adi- He just counldnt take his eyes off of Jigyasa. She wearing a beautiful navy blue sari with silver work on it. She had on beautiful jewelary. She was looking georgous. When she bent down ot help Bani get seated Adi saw the back of her blouse…or the lack of it…it was just three pieces of strings tied to keep it together….Adi' smouth went dry…
Sahil- Mesmerized by this girl he has known for countless years. He has never thought about any girl the way he thinks about Anu. She like Jigs has on a sari of the same type just different color. Anus is BABY BLUE…and she also had a halter blouse…just like when Sahil was first caught thinking aobut her. Sahil couldn't believe his eyes. He thought it was a dream for sure. He closed and opened hie eyes and she was still there only closer.
(Rano matched with Anu and Jigs but her sari was turquise -all saris are in the blue shade-)
The guys all just stared at the girls. Since it was outside the wind was in their hair blowingit around, and they were all smiling and laughing amongst themselves making them look so beautiful and innocent. (Haila…aab kaun innhe bacahega 😉 …)
Bani and Jai are seated next to eachother and everyone is just commenting on how they look. Everyone except Adi and Sahil…they are busy for obvious reason…lol…
They are getting started with the ceremony, they are about to put Banis hand in Jais hand…when…all of a sudden there is commotion at the gates…everyone turns their attention ot the gates and cannot believe what they r seeing, they r shocked and astounded at what is in front of them….
IT IS…..
