Part 20
Recap: Mia goes into a coma. Sahil and Lakshya have a fist fight, and Sahil gets hit on the lip, while Lakshya gets punched in the stomach. Sahil flirts with a nurse who helps him gets a room next to Mia.
Lakshya and Jai spend 3 hours outside the hospital in Jai's AC car.
Jai: Lakshya? Why didn't u stop fighting when I asked you to?
L: Because U are not related to me in anyway!!
Most of their time is either spent arguing like this, or it is spent in silence. Finally when the visiting hours come to an end, Bani, Pia, Shina, and Ranveer all come out of the hospital.
Pia: Mr. Walia?? Sahil kahaan hain??
Jai: Pata nahin, his car is still here though so…..
Bani: Lakshya, since Sahil isn't here, you can go and stay the night with Mia.
L: but Banidi, I'm not allowed in the ho…. (Interrupted)
Bani: Maine hospital walon se baat karli hain, ur allowed.
L: Thanx Banidi, then I'll go and stay with Mia.
P: L, the minute she comes around, or there is any sign of improvement, make sure u call my cell okay?
L: ya.
With that Lakshya goes back into the hospital and the others all go home. Pia and Shina go in one car. Jai, Bani, and Ranveer all go in another. On the way to Walia House, Pia and Shina discuss everything from the 1st day the Dixit Sisters came to Mumbai, to Mia and Jai's date, to Bani liking Jai, and right up till Mia's accident.
Shina: (evil smile) Oh…..so both the sisters like Jai?
Pia: no no Shina! Mr. Walia liked Mia, and Bani di likes Mr. Walia.
Shina: Ok Pia, thanx for telling me, but yeh batao, u never felt anything for Jai? I mean he's quite attractive you know??
Pia: I…..uhhh…..main kisi aur se…..ummm….ghar agaya!
Pia gets out of the car, and runs to her room. Shina is walking nice and slowly to her room.
Shina: (thinks) Now, Miss. Bani Dixit. I will finish you!!! Jo bhi mujhe meri zindagi mein maine chaha, woh sab tumne mujhse cheen liya, lekin aab nahin!!!
Now we go back to Lakshya who is going upto Mia's room. But when he reaches there, what does he find? Sahil, kneeling down by Mia, and holding her left hand in both his hands, and he is using her hand to cover up his face, because he is crying.
Also keep in mind that Mia is in a coma, like there was in Har Dil Jo Pyar Karenga, when her eyes are open, and she can hear and see everything, but she can't talk or move her body at all.
Sahil: Mia, I'm soo sorry. This is all my fault! I know you love me, but I still doubted your love. I don't know what I did in my life to ever deserve such an angel like you! Tum saach much mere liye hi aayi ho iss zameen par! Oh god please get better soon!! I can't live without you. Do you still love me, after all this? I don't know if you can ever love me again. Can you Mia? Please give me a sign any sign please??
He looks up at her face that looks so ill, there are dark circles underneath her eyes and her hair looks so lifeless. Sahil notices a moistness forming in her eyes, and after a few seconds, a single tear rolls down her cheek.
Lakshya comes in clapping
L: that was all very sweet, but mujhe diabetes hain. (Sorry everyone I copied that line from the movie DON)
Sahil: tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?
L: yeh sawaal to mujhe tumse poochna chaiya, but anyways. Banidi left me in charge of Mia.
Sahil: in charge? Mia ko cheeze nahin hain, ke tum uska in charge re sako!
L: Sahil, what are u even doing here? U shudn't even be in the hospital!
Sahil: If I'm not wrong Lakshya, what does it even have to do with you?
L: everything since ur in this room with my Mia, oops sorry my fianc.
Sahil: fianc? Doesn't the girl have to accept before you call her that?
Lakshya: she has accepted; see this ring on her finger.
Lakshya lifts Mia's right hand and shows Sahil a ring that is hearts linked together and each has a diamond stud at the bottom.
Sahil: L?? tum kitna jhoot bologe?? Yeh ring maine Mia ko di thi. It's called a promise ring.
Lakshya looks stunned.
Sahil: at least before you lie, get the facts straight. And u were telling me what, that u truly love Mia? Ha, if u really loved her a bit, u wud have found a way to get back into this hospital to be by her side!
Lakshya is completely speechless.
Sahil: now before the doctors come in her room, I better get back to mine, but Lakshya yaad rakhna ke tumhari haar ek movement par meri nazar hain.
Sahil goes up to Mia and gives her a light kiss on her forehead, while Mia develops more moistness in her eyes.
Shina: (sing song voice) Bani, Bani!! Arre kahaan ho tum??
Bani: (under her breath) aab is Shina ko kya chaiyye?(louder) I'm here Shina, in my room!!!
Shina finds her way to Bani's room
Shina: oh fo tum yahaan ho?? Aur main tumhe poore ghar mein dhund rahi thi!
Bani: kyun? Koi kaam tha kya?
Shina: (mean voice) Haan, I wanted to discuss Jai with you!
Bani: discuss what?
Shina: Bani, don't act all innocent with me! He is mine, and will always be mine, so please at least stay away from him!!
Bani: Shina! What do u mean? Agar main Mr. Walia se pyar karti hoon, aur shayad woh bhi, to isme tumhe kya?
Shina laughs.
Shina: Jai aur tum jaisi ladki se?? What a joke? Usse to meri jaisi sophisticated aur beautiful ladki chaiyye. Tumhari taraa middle class nahin!
Bani: Really?? Then we'll see about that! Main tumhe aabhi issi waqt challenge karti hoon, ke Mr. Walia, mujhse pyar karenge.
Shina: DEAL!
They both shake hands on it!
So who do you think will win this bet?? Why is Bani doing all this at the time that her own sister is in the hospital?? Will Lakshya do anything to Mia?? Will Mia ever get better or will she……….
