Raashi and Ranveer ff_part2

Raashi overheard the conversation between Jigs and Ranveer, wherein Jigs who almost seemed to be possessed by satan said

"I won't let anybody snatch away what rightfully belongs to you and Saahil especially by that Bani's child."

Ranveer walked back to his mother and with sheer resignation said 'Mom what is it that you can do at this point except accept the fact that SHE is carrying mamaji's baby. Jigs with pure venom spitting out said "I can and I will' I will not let that baby of Bani's to be a hindrance to my carefully laid out plans.

Raashi could not believe her ears and walked away totally disgusted and at the same time frightened for Bani and her unborn baby by her MIL and her legal husband's behavior. She was ashamed of associating herself with such monsters and thought to herself that it was just yesterday that she was praying to God to always let her be a member of this family she was almost tempted to withdraw her prayers , but she was wise enough to know that life doesn't work that way and one has to play with cards that they are dealt.

She decided that she was going to teach her MIL and husband a lesson that they will never forget as long as they live. Raashi sincerely liked Bani, because she was the only person in the entire household except for Dadi and Maasi who welcomed her with open arms without any agenda. She felt bad for her when her rishta with Saahil fizzled out and was passed on to Ranveer and if she had no feelings and had nothing to say in this matter.

She made a promise to herself that she was not going to let anybody hurt Bani and her baby. She could not believe how anybody could be so cruel to their own flesh and blood especially her own brother's child. Jigs might not like Bani,but what about Jai, he treats Ranveer Saahil and Anu as if they were his own children, how she could think of taking away jai's happiness was beyond her comprehension. She fondly thought of her relationship with Rohit. They both were each other's best friends took care of each other when their mom and dad were busy plotting each others destruction and they were left to fend for themselves.

Raashi was going to make Bani and Jai aware of the danger that lay ahead without as much accusing her MIL, and she also thought she was not going to let Bani out of her sight.She surmised that the only way she was going to achieve this is by diverting the mother and son's attention towards her and leave Bani to go through her pregnancy in peace.The next day she met with Rohit and Anu in a restaurant and asked for their cooperation since they were a crucial part of her plan.

It was six O'clock in the morning on a Monday a week after Bani's disappearance:Aditya found Bani in Mt.Abu and convinced her to come back home atleast until the baby was born, and that she could decide whatever she wanted to do and that nobody will be against her decision,even JAI:Ranveer walked into the bedroom to go to the adjoining room which was also his puja room,when he saw Raashi still sleeping on the bed in a see through night gown which had risen to her knees,he looked at her with menacing eyes and said 'I already told you once that I don't like you sleeping in my room whe I do my puja and for god's sake cover yourself and get out of this room 'Ranveer wondered as to what happened to his obedient and timid wife , she was never like this in his ten day old marriage. and walked into the puja room and to his utter horror didn't find the murtis on the table, where they usually were. Eyes breathing fire he walked out of the bedroom and roared "Tony kaha margaye tum" Kiski himmat huey mere bhagwan ko chhone ke" and before Tony could come and reply , Raashi got up from the bed and dragged Ranveer inside the room and closed the door behind him and said in a calm a collected voice," haan maine move kiya bhagwan ko" sabko apne apne jage hoti hai bhagwan ko jage puja room me humare bedroom me nahi, and from now onwards if you want to get up at six o'clock and do your puja by allmeans do it, but do it in the puja room and another thing please don't dictate what I wear or can't wear, this is my bedroom too and if I want to sleep in the nude I will do so, saying that she walked into the bathroom confidently and closed the door behind her,leaving a shocked and furious Ranveer behind..Once she was in the safety of the bathroom with the door tightly shut she clutched her stomach and dropped to the floor in a state of sheer panic not knowing how she was going to pull this tough act without losing her nerve

Part2:

The loud bang of the bathroom door brought back Ranveer from his stupified reverie, at his demure and timid wife's new found confidence and audacity and was at a complete loss for words, thought or action, but quickly composed himself and growling like a wounded tiger banged on the door screaming "Raashi, come out this minute..... he didn't hear any response from the other side . He kept screaming "Raashi , out this minute, otherwise I'll break down this door ". He heard a quick rustle of clothes and the door opened and Raashi walked out. Ranveer's eyes popped out of their sockets the minute he saw her . She was hastily dressed in his pyjamas and kurta, which was about 2 or 3 times bigger than her size. She was terrified at his growling and just grabbed whatever she could find next to the shower since she was already getting ready to turn on the water when she heard the banging . His eyes breathing fire he roared "how dare you touch my clothes" to which she answered innocently "would you rather have seen me without them? if so all you needed to do was ask and I would have gladly obliged because that's what my mom told me that I have to keep you happy all the time. If looks could kill she would have turned to cinder in a nanosecond, he went and grabbed and was about to take off the shirt when he suddenly realised what he was doing. When he saw her in his nightclothes he felt like she was rapidly encroaching on his space which he had carefully constructed around him, eventhough in the remote corners of his heart he acknowledged that she rather looked slightly adorable in them but was not willing to accept that he Ranveer The Confirmed Bachelor was falling for the age old female viles. Regaining his his characteristic scowl and growl, he said " I want you out of this room and out of my sight" ( he realised that he was being drawn towards temptation and so decided to nip it in the bud, since he knows that any kind of proximity withe her is going to be hazardous to his self restraint) Raashi with determination and slight mischief in her eyes said " so you want me out of this room and into the guest room? I wonder what people would say about you if I moved into the guest room within ten days of our marriage.....she left the sentence hanging for him to pick up on her inuendo. He could not believe his ears as to what she was insinuating and without another word walked out without a backward glance. Raashi was grinning from ear to ear celebrating her first victory and congratulating herself for her nerve to go up against him , when Ranveer walked in to pick up his cellphone which he had forgotten on the nightstand. He picked up the phone shoved it in his pocket and walked towards her and grabbed her shoulders with both his arms and turned her towards him and was tempted to wipe off that shhepish grin off her face, and instead looked at her with menacing eyes and said " be careful , don't push me, if you do you'll certainly not like the consequences, I can guarantee you t hat" saying that he walked off towards the door.
