LOved the analysis! And your last observation was so on the mark, about anger bringing out the best in her, and him as well.
I think Bani riles and bother Jai like no other. No one in his life, has had the capacity to make him be a better man, inspite of his anger and stubborness. But Bani does...and thats whats so compelling about him, and her. Its a dark brooding sort of passion. And yet, so right for them both.
I took was just waiting for him to lean down and kiss her through out the scene. The control with which Ram delivered the dialogue was awesome ( i mentioned this in my post for Anu's analysis as well). And something about when he delivers dialogues in English. Its that added emphasis that just gives you chills.
Tonight it was .. it scares the hell out of me! Last time it was,.. "after all your're my wife goddammit!" So telling, huh!?
I loved it all. The camera angles, Ram/Jai with his sleeves rolled up.. all raw and masculine. The watch gleaming on his wrist, her tears, his anger, ... all of it.
I love their sweet scenes too. But, I have to say, you are right.. their tense, volatile scenes show their real passion. And really serve to highlight the chemistry between Ram and Prachi, which is amazing. I think we don't comment on that enough. These days when actors move from one movie or show, with multiple co actors.. its amazing to see a pair that share such chemistry onscreen. Despite age and experiential differences. They bring the characters to life, and give us such fodder for discussion. Brilliant.
I love it!
And the best part of todays epi.. .no jigs, and cobra!
