i have just found out that kasam se is based on a book ''TOO MUCH TOO SOON'' by jacqueline briskin....has anyone read this book?...

Yup, Kasamh Se's basic premise is lifted from "Too Much Too Soon"....and Jai's character is Gideon's character from the same! Its a great book, I read it ages back!

PS: KS is also inspired from Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott!

I think it is more of a Little Women than Too Much Too Soon..

Kasamh Se is definitely heavily borrowed from Too Much Too Soon and all the main characters are also directly lifted!

The only difference is that in the original, Crystal (Pia) ends up marrying Gideon (Jai Walia) and Honora ends up marrying Curt Ivory (Pushkar)

The middle sister spoils the marriage of the elder one by having an affair with her husband!

The youngest ends marrying the man she loves but he gets killed!😭Later she becomes a business tycoon herself!

But thankfully, they have changed the story in Kasmah Se, in the sense that its the eldest sister who marries their mentor and the middle one marries the protegee!

Btw, in the book, Gideon and Curt become sworn enemies and Curt also becomes a businessman and rivals Gideon later on!

Oh MT thanks for your info I knew kekta never has any original ideas she always lifts her stories either from her dads films or foreign soaps. 😆 😆
But Kasamh Se looks intresting I am a Jai and Bani fan good she made them a couple has I always wanted them together for once kekta has proved to do right thing. 😛 😊

The book is out of print now, I have a tattered old copy lying somewhere!!!

Crystal's role in the book was quite negative, Pia is not so bad in KS!!!

Also, Curt ( Pushkar) was the main character in the book and not Gideon (Jai), but in Kasamh Se, they have role reversed Gideon and Curt and gave the main lead to Gideon!!!

If they have indeed borrowed from Too Much Too Soon, then according to the story line, Crystal and Gideon will end up spending a night together and hence spoil their respective marriages...😭
