I would like to be My Pet Dog in the next birth, primarily because, I have not known any other living being enjoying so many privileges and getting so much of love & affection, without ever lifting a finger in his life!😆 My dog happens to be the laziest, most good-for-nothing creature who just knows to eat and sleep and sulk around without any reason.....and he is still loved and cherished by all of us! He is second in importance only to my kid in our House!!! I certainly want to be born as him in my next janam😳

Well, in all honesty, I have never thought about my writing skills as great! If I was any good, I would have surely channelized it into something substantial, maybe got into full time writing as a profession! But otherwise, English has always been my favourite language and writing has always been a side-hobby for me, so I guess a little of it rubs in the updates😳 But I think, you guys really make me climb ''Chane Ki Jhad'' with all your compliments!😃

I think I would like to take off Ram Kapoor's clothes (Chill, its not what you are thinking!😆 Only his Shirt!) and see if he is really that fat or has he padded himself with Cotton....I mean who would get turned on by a Hero with a Tummy sticking out🤢 But overall he comes across to be appealing, somehow!

Why does a circle have 360 degrees? 😃

A line of ancient peoples (Sumerians, Akkadians, and Babylonians) who lived in Mesopotamia (now southern Iraq) invented writing, observed the skies, and invented a 360-degree circle to describe their findings. About 3000 BC, the Sumerians invented writing. They also had a calendar, dating from 2400 BC, that divided the year into 12 months of 30 days each, that is, 360 days.

The Sumerians watched the Sun, Moon, and the five visible planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn), primarily for omens. They did not try to understand the motions physically. They did, however, notice the circular track of the Sun's annual path across the sky and knew that it took about 360 days to complete one year's circuit. Consequently, they divided the circular path into 360 degrees to track each day's passage of the Sun's whole journey. This probably happened about 2400 BC.

That's how we got a 360 degree circle. Around 1500 BC, Egyptians divided the day into 24 hours, though the hours varied with the seasons originally. Greek astronomers made the hours equal. About 300 to 100 BC, the Babylonians subdivided the hour into base-60 fractions: 60 minutes in an hour and 60 seconds in a minute. The base 60 of their number system lives on in our time and angle divisions.

An 100-degree circle makes sense for base 10 people like ourselves. But the base-60 Babylonians came up with 360 degrees and we cling to their ways-4,400 years later.😃

😆 Devi, mein bus Sim ko yeh dikhana chahti thi, agar woh ser hain, toh hum bhi sawa ser hai!!!

Maths, aur mein? In 10 years of my schooling (From 1st till 10th) I did not pass a single test, quiz, viva or an exam in Maths....I am not exaggerating! Seriously, not a single one! Half the trees in the World must have been felled to make up my answer sheet's on which I used to give my Maths Re-test!😳

The one and only time I managed to pass my Maths exam in first attempt was in my 10th Boards......I think all the God's must have been in my favour that day!😆 That was it, I took up Arts and there was no more Maths in my life.....till my husband, who is a Finance Specialist came into my life........ab toh Maths se janam bhar ka nata jud gaya hai😭😆

The shape of a spotlight on a planar surface is in most
cases an ellipses. If you cut a cylinder at an angle, you will get elliptical sections. lenses and mirrors can be elliptical in shape.

Some tanks are elliptical and you find ellipses in architecture too. On a bicyle the chainwheel is approximately eliptical in shape. 😊

now the last question was why is there 360 degrees in a cirle?

The degree is derived from the Babylonian base 60 numerical system. Hours and minutes are similarly divided into 60's. There are minutes of time and minutes of angle - there are 60 minutes in a degree, and, similarly, there are seconds of time and seconds of degree - there are 60 seconds in a minute, 3600 in a degree. 😊

the ratio of the perimeter of a regular hexagon to the circumference of the circumscribed circle equals a number which in modern notaiton is given by 57/60 + 36/(60^2) (the Babylonians used the sexagesimal system, i.e., their base was 60 rather than 10).
