Just because someone is not like their father does not mean they are related to them. If that was true, Veer could not be Jai or Pia's son. Pia was bad, but at least she never actually killed someone! Pia was delluded, blinded by the seductive life of money and luxury she had always wanted. Pia was always stubborn and planned to get what she wanted, so I personally loved that track.
To me, Veer is the son of Jai and Pia. Pia was not like her father Nishikant, so then why cannot we say she isn't Nishikant's real daughter? Of course, Veer is the most disgusting evil horrid little vile being imaginable. Pushkar, who had sacrificed his life, insulted his father figure, accepted Pia, and accepted her 'mistake' died in the most horrible way. Everyone's life in the show is sorrowful: Bani, Pia, Rano, Pushkar, Jai, etc.... It made me so upset seeing Pushkar die like that. I just wish that when Pia finds out the truth she'll smack Veer with all her might! 😡
