After a long (and frustrating!) day, Jai and Bani hopped in the car and sped off from the office. As they continued to drive, Bani noticed that the driver was making some odd turns.

"Jai? Where are we going? Home is the other direction…" She asked curiously.

"Oh.. Actually I just have to meet a client. Hes come from far, so I didn't want him to leave without having met him. Its good for business relations. Shouldn't take more than a half hour." He stated quickly. Bani nodded, understanding his reasoning, and quietly sat back as their drive continued.

About twenty minutes later, the doorman opened the door for them and they stepped out in front of one of their luxury hotels. They were duly greeted by the staff, who smiled brightly and nodded out of respect. Jai led Bani inside, and she was in awe of the grand lobby of the hotel.

After speaking with a manager quietly, Jai looked at Bani, who was still admiring the architecture. "Chale?" He asked as he approached her. She nodded and he held his arm out for her to hold.

They headed up to the topmost floor of the hotel. When they exited out of the elevator, Jai looked left and then right, then picked Bani into his arms as he approached the door to the suite.

"Jai! What are you doing?" She asked in shock. Wrapping her hands around his neck, she wanted to be sure she wouldn't fall.

"Nothing." He said cheekily. Kicking the door to the suite open after struggling to unlock it, he finally set Bani down carefully. She looked around and was sure her eyes were deceiving her. The room was filled with candles. The fragrance of rose petals hit her, making her feel like she was floating on a cloud.

There was a simple table in the middle of the room, amidst the candles. Two plates, two wine glasses, two candles and a simple rose.

"Jai? Your client?"

"What client?" He responded with a smile. "I wanted to be alone with my wife, and nobody was letting me have even five minutes with her." He said wrapping his arms around her from behind. Jai nuzzled her neck, taking in the sweet subtle scent of her perfume. "I had to make up a little white lie. So sue me…" He said pressing a kiss at the nape of her neck.

Bani felt her eyes mist up, and she couldn't help but let a tear fall down her cheek. Jai felt the warm drop, taking him by surprise.

"Bani?" He asked turning her around. "Bani, whats wrong? Why are you crying?" He said gently lifting her face with his hand. "Sweetheart, did I say or do something wrong?" When she didn't answer right away, Jai felt himself panicking. "Why are you crying? Please… say something…"

Bani shook her head. "Its just that all this is so beautiful." Jai kissed the top of her head and wiped her tears away with his fingers, stroking her soft cheeks. Bani looked around to see a suitcase in the corner of the room.

"Jai, whats that?"

"Clothes… I had Rano pack up a suitcase and had it sent here. I told them we wouldn't be back till tomorrow," He said winking at her.

"But, what will everyone think if we-"

Jai put his finger to her lips. "Ssshh…. Nobody will say a word."

She blushed then wrapped her arms around him. She missed listening to his heartbeat.

He walked her in and together they enjoyed their dinner together in a comfortable silence. Just finally being with each other was enough, especially without the constant interruptions.

Tony walked into the drawing room with a package in his hand. He walked over to Masi who was sitting with Neha, checking the time. "Bani kaha hai…" She asked to herself.

"Masiji, this package just arrived from Mr. Walia's office in your name." He said handing it to her. She accepted it, and he looked down to see Neha looking up at him with a smile on her face. He patted her cheek happily, and trotted off to finish his work.

Masi opened the package to find her medicines that she had requested Bani to bring. "My medicines? But where are Jai and Bani?" She said thinking aloud.

"Masi, they wont be coming home today…" Rano said as she walked in after hearing Masis thoughts. Jigyasa followed behind her holding her granddaughter in her arms.

"Not coming home? But why?"

"Bas, Jai decided to take Bani out for a bit." Jigyasa said casually. "It was a surprise for Bani, too."

"But where have they gone? Aise hi bina bataiye?" Masi asked still not understanding.

"Samjha karo, Masi…" Jigyasa said giving her a wink. "They're young and in love…" She said laughing with Rano, who burst into a fit of giggles. Seeing them laugh, Neha joined them as if she understood every word they said.

"Oh!" Masi exclaimed finally understanding what Jigyasa meant. She laughed to herself, realizing that she had hardly let Bani have any time away from her. What could she do, though… she was just getting to realize what a wonderful girl Bani was. She made a mental note to herself to hog her 'bahu' a little less. She sat back, chuckling as Neha frolicked around the room happily.

Once they finished their dinner, Bani walked out to the balcony as room service came to clean up the plates. She leaned against the railing, looking up at the stars in this clear night. Feeling two strong arms wrap around her and pull her backwards, she saw Jai's serene smile as he pulled her back to a lounge chair that was on a deck.

Together they sat, with Bani leaning into Jai, the two of them cuddled in a blanket. The scent of his aftershave was so comforting, she realized. She could stay in his arms for an eternity.

"Its so beautiful …" She said quietly. "I can see why you like it up here."

Jai smiled. "I like it even more, now that you are here with me."

"You're such a romantic.." She said playfully.

"Only because you make me into one." He responded quickly. "Besides, you should be happy… you have a husband who wants to shower you with all the love in his heart." He kissed the tip of her nose and wrapped her tighter against him, her petite frame fitting perfectly in his arms.

"You know, Bani… Ive seen you every day this week, but this is the longest we have spent together."

"I know. Ive just been so busy. I hardly had a chance to think."

"I know. Masi hardly leaves you alone these days." Jai chucked. "I don't know what you have done to Masi. Shes never gotten so attached to anyone so quickly before."

"I guess we both we realized we had one big thing in common."

"What?"

"We both love you, Jai Walia." Bani smiled, tightening her hold on him. He kissed the top of her head and ran his hands down her silky black hair.

"And I love you…. I wanted to spend some time with you away from everyone else. So I brought you here to my favorite suite."

"Your favorite suite?"

Jai nodded. "Its my private suite for personal use."

"Personal meaning romantic getaways?

"Maybe…" Jai said smirking with his reply.

Bani loosened her grip around him and looked at him wearily. "How many girls have you brought up here before me?" She asked, not really wanting to know the answer. The smile on her face disappeared.

"Why? Are you jealous?" He asked cautiously.

"No…" She lied, crossing her arms and looking away. "Im getting cold. Im going to go inside." She moved to get up, but he caught her arm and pulled her back against his chest.

"Bani…." He said sweetly. But she didn't respond. Turning her face towards him, she lowered her eyes. Jai smiled and shook his head. "You're the first one here. Ive never wanted to share this place with anyone- I never loved anyone enough to bring them here."

"Really?" She asked softly.

"Really." He said pulling her back into his arms. "I used to come here a lot more to clear my mind during the divorce. It was the only place that could calm me down. I used to stare at the streets below and wonder how everyone could move on with their lives when mine seemed to be in shambles. On one hand I had Roshni who was trying to squeeze every penny out of me, and on the other I would have to go home and see the worrying faces of everyone in the family."

Bani looked up at him touching his cheek, feeling his pain in every word.

He touched the hand that was against his cheek. "I used to find peace of mind when I came here alone. It was easier for me to sort out my thoughts all on my own. But now I find that solace in you. That's why I brought you here. To share all this with you." Bani leaned towards him and softly kissed his lips. When she pulled back, he saw her teary eyes and kissed her cheek.

They stayed like that until they heard a knock on the door.

"Who could that be at this hour?" Bani asked curiously. She picked up his wrist, and checked the time.

"I don't know. Go see who it is." He urged her.

Walking back inside, with Jai following, Bani opened the door to see a hotel employee standing there with a smile on his face. She made way for him and he wheeled in a cart with a chilled champagne bottle with a bowl of fresh strawberries. With a quick nod, Jai tipped the man and he scrambled out of there.

"Whats all this?"

"Dessert." He replied popping the cork of the bottle. Handing her a glass of the bubbly liquid, he held one as well and picked up a strawberry for her. She took a bite of the strawberry and a small sip of the champagne. Jai did as well. Leaning in he kissed her softly, tasting the remnants of the strawberries and champagne on her lips.

As they nibbled on strawberries and sipped their champagne, Jai gazed at his wife lovingly. Her beauty was only enhanced by the candlelight. He finally felt at ease to be with her. What was it about her that made his heart flutter still. It wasn't as if they had just met, but her smile still made him smile. It made him fall in love with her over and over again.

Bani felt shy under his gaze. The darkness of his eyes was so intense it touched her heart. She bit her lip lightly, and he took his champagne flute and set it on the table along with hers. Snaking his arm around her waist, he pulled her up towards him and touched his lips to hers.

Bani moved her arms around his neck, hanging on to him as she felt she was losing all use of her limbs. Jai kissed her with a little more fervor. He smiled against her lips as he bent to pick her up into his arms. Bani kissed his cheek as he carried her towards their room.

He set her down gently on the plush bed, moving the strand of hair that had fallen across her eyes. She stared up at at him with all the love that she had in her heart, and he could feel the warmth in her eyes. Jai kissed her eyes one by one. He brushed his lips down her cheek, finding the tender skin of her neck. As he trailed kisses down her collarbone, she ran her fingers through his hair.

Her scattered breath drew his attention. He looked up at his wife, whose eyes were closed and fingers still tangled in his hair.

"Are you ok?" He asked concerned.

Her eyes fluttered open, and she gave him a gentle smile. She nodded then shifted so he was face to face with her, and passionately kissing him back, driving his senses into an undescribable chaos.

When she pulled back and left him breathing erratically, she looked in his eyes. "Are you ok?" She teased him.

"Fine… Just fine." He snickered and captured her lips into a kiss, with his hands expertly roaming the curves of her body. They explored each other through the night, finally being one with each other, mentally, physically, and emotionally. They had missed the satiated feeling of just lying in each others arms, let alone sharing those passionate kisses.

Late into night, Jai held Bani with her back towards him and his hand caressing her waist as she slept. He held her close to himself, feeling her breath in and out steadily. She was the first, and only person he had opened up to this much. When she wasn't around, his heart ached and his eyes searched for her.

There was nothing in his life that he wanted than his family. Yes, he was happy living with his sister, but the love he received from Bani and Neha, was unsurmountable. The love in her heart broke down his barriers and walls that he put up for the world, and there wasn't enough he could to to show her how much he loved her for that. He wanted to spend the rest of his life showing her.

There was nothing in his world that made him happier. He wouldn't have had it any other way.

The happy couple enjoyed a nice poolside lunch the next afternoon. They had woken up quite late, missing breakfast, but neither seemed to mindd. In the morning, Jai had called Adi to check up on Neha. It seemed that even Neha was quiet happy to stay with Masi. She had become quite attached to her 'Aadi'.

By late afternoon, the couple was on their way home. Jai sat with his wife in the back, with his arm around her. After some quiet time, he noticed that she was asleep. Kissing the top of her head, he cradled her next to him as they reached home.

He was quite surprised at just how tired she was. By the time they reached home, she was still sound asleep, hardly stirring through the drive. He gently shook her awake, and she looked around groggily.

"We're home? So quickly?"

Jai shook his head. "No, you slept the whole ride through. Sleepy?"

"Im ok…" She said sitting up properly.

"Good.. cause theres a little girl inside that I have been waiting to see all day." He said with a heartstopping smile. He walked with Bani back to the house to find it very quiet. Tony walked to them to take their bags to their room.

"Tony? Where is Neha?" Jai asked curiously.

"She is taking a nap, Sir. I believe she is in Masi's room." He nodded and took off with their things.

They headed to Masi's room and knocked softly. Jai entered the room seeing Masi reading one of her books, sitting next to Neha who was sleeping on the bed. She looked up, taking off her reading glasses as they walked in careful not to wake Neha up.

"Arre? Kab aaye tum log?"

"Bas Masi, abhi abhi.." Jai said giving Masi a hug. "How long has she been sleeping?"

"Not long. She finally fell asleep only about fifteen minutes ago." She said yawning.

"Masi, you rest too. I will take her to our room to sleep." Bani said as she lifted Neha up slowly, trying not to wake her. Neha opened her eyes and saw her Mama. Bani could tell she was sleepy, but struggling to stay awake now that she saw her Mama. They walked out of Masi's room but instead of taking Neha to her own room, Bani brought her to her own.

"Mama pay?" Neha asked sleepily, holding on to the the edge of Bani's pallu.

"No, baby… its nap time. We play later ok?"

"Tay…" Neha turned her head on Bani's shoulder slowly blinking sleepily.

Bani brought her back to theirs where she put her down in the middle and covered her with a light blanket. Jai stood at the doorway watching them.

Neha was still awake when Bani put her down. She fiddled with Bani's mangalsutra as Bani talked to her.

"So were you a good girl for Daadi while Mama was gone?"

"Esh." Neha replied nodding.

"So what did Neha do while Mama was gone?"

"Nea pay Daadi."

"Daadi? You can say Daadi? Wow, you're such a big girl now."

Neha giggled as her Mama showered her with tiny kisses.

"Accha, so what else did you do?"

"Nea pay papa."

"Papa? How did you play with Papa?"

"Ish Papa!" She said pointing to her teddy bear.

"No silly, that's your teddy bear. Can you say teddy bear?"

"Papa Eddie!"

"You silly billy girl!" She nuzzling her nose. Neha yawned, and Bani started to pat her tummy softly. Neha watched her Mama as her eyes became heavier.

"I love you, baby…"

"Uubooo…" Neha said quietly. Within minutes she was sleeping again.

With a happy grin on his face, Jai headed to his study to check on some work emails, and Bani lay next to her, patting her tummy as the little girl slept peacefully. She patting the soft ringlets at the top of her head, eventually feeling her eyes drooping as well.

Jai walked in twenty minutes later, seeing both mother and daughter sleeping. He felt content seeing them so serene. He stepped towards them, giving each of them a kiss in the forehead before leaving and shutting the door softly behind him and heading towards his study.

It was quite some time before he returned back to the room. Bani was still asleep, and Neha, he found, was wide awake and sitting on the bed trying to play 'hide and seek' from her 'Papa' bear and haathi. She covered them with her blankie then lifted it up, surprising herself over and over again. She giggled to herself and looked even more excited when her Papa walked into the room.

"Hey little monkey… Mama is sleeping?"

"Ssssss! Mama neenee!" She said trying to shush Jai.

"Now Mama is awake…" Bani said stretching slowly.

"Pay!" Neha said now jumping on the bed out of excitement. Jai caught her midair and planted a big kiss on her cheek.

"My little angel wants to play all the time! You want to play? Just Neha and Papa? What do you say?"

Neha nodded excitedly.

"Ok then go get your toys, Sweetheart." He said setting her down. She stumbled off to pick out her favorite toys and Jai looked at Bani who was finally getting out of bed.

"Sleep well?"

She nodded. "I think Im going to take a quick shower," she said heading towards the cupboard. Jai waited for Neha and watched as Bani tried to pick out her clothes.

But he saw Bani's hand stop midair, and hold on to the door of the cupboard for support, and the other touch the side of her head. She swayed slightly, and Jai knew something wasn't right.

He rushed to her, steadying her before her legs gave out. "You ok? Whats wrong?"

It took her a second to recover before she said anything. "Nothing… I'm fine... I just felt a little lightheaded for a second. I think I got up too fast."

Jai eyed her, making sure that she was ok. "Sit down," He said leading her to the bed. He went to the water jug and poured her a glass of water, making her have a few sips.

"You sure you're ok?" He asked worridly. She nodded in response and set the glass down. Jai turned around to see Neha walking in holding all of the dolls she could carry in her arms.

"Pay!" She said dropping all of them.

Jai looked at Bani, who nodded to him. "Im fine. Nothing is wrong, just a headrush. Go play with her, shes waiting for her papa."

"Ok…" He said feeling a little reluctantly. Neha opened her arms so Jai could pick her up. He did so, and then picked up her toys taking her out to the drawing room to play.

The family sat around at the dinner table, enjoying their dinner. Occasionally, they looked at Jai and Bani, with smiles on their faces, waiting for something to break their silence.

"So where did you two off to yesterday?" Masi asked with a straight face.

Jai looked up from his plate, clearing his throat. "Oh… Just took Bani out for dinner." He responded quickly.

"Since when does dinner last till the next morning?" Jigyasa asked cheekily.

Bani turned beetred. She wishes that Neha was in her arms so she could distract herself, but she couldn't. She looked up at Jai for some help, but it seemed that even he was no less red than her.

"No, nothing like that." Jai said hoping that they wouldn't realize he lied through his teeth.

"Hmmm Im sure its nothing…" Ranveer said laughing.

"Ok ok..leave the two alone now. Bahut ho gaya." Masi said chuckling. "Spare my dear Bahu…"

They continued to eat their dinner with the normal conversation. Jai looked at Masi who was playing the airplane game with Neha, feeding her spoon by spoon. He loved how she took care of Neha as her own now. Smiling, he looked at his wife he was pushing around a plate of only rice and dahi.

"Bani? Is that all you are going to eat?" Jai asked. Everyone looked up to see that she had very little food in her plate.

She felt suddenly self-conscious about herself. "Actually I wasn't too hungry…"

"Bani, if you eat like that, its no wonder you felt weak earlier." He said deliberately putting a helping of sabzi on her plate.

"Wait, what happened?" Jigyasa asked curiously.

"Its noth-" Bani started to say.

"Bani felt a little weak earlier, that's all. Shes fine." He said brushing it off.

"Weak? How?" Rano asked suddenly curious.

"Just a little dizzy. Im sure its just lack of sleep- nothing to worry about." Bani responded. She cautiously took a bite of the sabzi, then ate it without any problem. But she paused for a moment, and Jai noticed.

"Whats wrong?" He sounded concerned.

"Nothing, baba. Wheres Tony? Tony!" She said calling.

"Yes, Ma'am?" He said dutifully walking in.

"Can you bring some nimbu please?" She politely requestd. Within moments, he returned with a sliced lemon and Bani proceeded to put lemon on most of her sabzi. Rano watched her curiously, but didn't say a word as Bani ate her food. Jai didn't seem to pay attention to it, and continued to eat his food happily.

I knew it, Bani is pregnant. Wow how cool, but not surprising with the way Jai was batting 😃 (Sorry but I just couldn't help it). I hope they have a boy, Walia house needs a little terror, I mean Jai and Ranveer are alittle to old to be crowned "Terror of the House", and my Neha and Ramia are just to sweet.

Wow. Beautiful update. Really love Jai's romantic getaway spot. JB's relationship is just rocking. I knew that Bani is pregnant. Hope it's twins or a boy. Please continue soon.
