ok 😊 you heard me....no more tricks there...hehe...

actually the project i talk about is my PhD thesis 😲 i wrote first version of it and sent it to my boss through e-mail...now he has to review it and suggest corrections....once he does that, i will send it to my committeee members (4 more ppl)....they will do the same thing....then i schedule a date for my thesis (oral) defense.....which i am hoping to accomplish in mid of september...so got to study a lot of literature to prepare for the D-day

over here large supermarkets are open 24/7 and i mean 24/7 you can go at 1am and people are there serving.. guess its good for employment ey

same is true for walmart type superstores here also....this was 'circuit city' and electronic gadgets shop...yeah...God...tussi great ho!!! 😆

Thats the word i am looking for: Walmart!

I knew it started with W but couldnt think of the word, here its just Asda, tesco just take the name of the supermarket dnt bother with the word walmart 😆

i joined PhD in 2003 was almost done by 2006 end....but my boss wanted me to do more experiments...i did some experiemnts with mice 🤢 yukksss!! that took another one year...then at the end of 2007 i moved out of my university to stay with my new husband 😊 in a different state....that way i wasted another year and couldn't finish thesis writing....now i am on it....so hopefully it should be done soon....

BTW what kind of uniform do you wear to work??

i never knew you were married lol.. thought you were a student dotting different states 😆

Dnt worry it will all be over and mice.. eww!! cant stand animals

my uniform is dark redish colour sorta long to the hips and then its got like a nurse outfit cut.. its okay but its got one pocket but the small clock hook thing is great 😃

yeah got married in dec 2006 to my 3 year b/f...we were both students in the same univ...he was two years senior though.....he has joined a new job recently so he is traveling most of the time and i get bored here...didn't intend to hide the fact....its just that it never came into discussion 😊

wow a nurse uniform...great...what kind of education u got?? i mean you are too young to be a nurse already...rt?? what school/grade system is there in UK?

well its not a nurse outfit its an imitation of it.. im a receptionist training to be a HCA (Health care assistant) so i check BP, Blood, Urine, height, weight, diabetic checks on the day for patients.. and then in thursdays i get children clinic where kids just hang out with me for one day..

but im also a receptionist there doing prescriptions so i have to bring them home sometimes

But when you get to 16 theres a much larger option, you can do an apprentiship where you work and learn at the same time, sorta like 'hands-on'

That helps those who learn thru actions.. A Levels and Uni is for those who are achedemic.

With me i got this receptionist job, then they saw i picked up on that and then said have your own lot of patients and now im inbetween reception and HCA lol..

If you want a career here i think its a good sytem, if you cant get the grades other companies have been set up to help those people so they can get the same level of experience but in a different way - much harder for them tho as they work AND learn

not sure if that made sense 😆

oh also im going uni next year to study optometry 😆 so this HCA thing just makes me look good on CV 😆
