it is another guess by me that might be amit was hubby of gauri in past ....becoz if he was her bf ....she would not be that much worried ....like she was .......i mean if he would be bf ..and they end up on serious note fir bhi .......she would not be running like this from him .............................while thi could be possible if she had secretly married and divoced and even alok ji also dont know abt it

i dont think gauri would have taken such a drastic step and got married without her parents knowing it..

her character does show that she is sweet of nature,believe in family values and traditions and on top of that she always walks on the path of truth..we have got example this week..

when she was engaged to shashank ,she was all happy that he was the perfect guy for her and when the bet thing happened how she did not hesitate to slap him when he wanted to kiss her..that must be taken into cosideration..that shows us another plus point in her character..

now she is married to shiv and she did tell kaya she will keep her marriage vows wat ever fate has in store for her..this also clearly shows that she believes in the sacred institution of marriage...even married to shiv ,how she feels shy to look at him or when he is dressing up,so much shyness and awkwardness..so gauri having a hubby in the past seems unbelievable analysing her character...

i have the feeling it has something more to do in her college days in kolkatta and gauri must have ruined his reputation by expelling him out of college when she came to know about his true face..u know it does happen in college may be she did have a crush for amit...

now she is married to shiv a rich guy ,so how about amit blackmailing her for money to keep the secret..but gauri will face more problems in the coming epi..must wait and watch..

hey amna i know u r not against gauri but as u said with ekta u never know ..though it will a big blooper if she does that coz from the beginning she has portrayed gauri as a sweet and innocet girl and even linked her wih ma durga,so it will very inbelievable if amit is her ex hubby..

in my opinion amit must be someone gauri knew in college..remembering certain scenes i have the feeling that amit must have tried to if i may use the word rape her,shashank with the bet with shiv ,how gauri was scared to let him kiss her when he was to bully her andshe did slapped him and when shiv was taking his kurta
off andhow she was scared at that time too..so i think amit must have traumatised her and may be she has accused him in court and he got jailed..

so lets hope this week we get our answer...
