Iqbal's getting hate mail!
TV hottie Iqbal Khan's been receiving a lot of mails nowadays against his fiancee Sneha!

Television's ruling Khan is all set to go the Shah Rukh way. Iqbal Khan will get married to his steady girlfriend Sneha in January 2007. "My parents are coming down to Mumbai to visit me in November. The wedding date is in January would be decided once they're here. In fact I'm in the process of shifting to a larger apartment, right next to my current home in Versova so that there would be more room. Of course my dream is to build my own house. But I don't want to take a loan to do so. So, until I can afford to pay for my own home a rented place will have to do."
Iqbal has just wrapped up his work in Kavyanjali. "But there was no breather. We immediately went into Karam Apna Apna . I shot for two days in Kolkata. I'm still working 15 hours a day, still getting no time for myself. Just last night before I went to sleep I was thinking about how there was a time when I had no
money to pay for an
autorickshaw ride. Today, I can afford to travel in the best cars. I'm grateful for that leap. I could've vanished after my two feature films Fun2sssh and Bullet. I remember how hard I'd worked on my body and the stunts for Bullet. My hopes came crashing down when that crashed. I'm grateful to Ekta Kapoor for giving me a second lease on television."
However the self-declared workaholic is determined to take it easy after marriage. "My family comes first. I can sacrifice anything for them. Sneha is now part of the family." Reacting to Ekta's remark that Iqbal was chosen for her prestigious new serial because she needed a guy whom two women could fight over Iqbal laughs, "I love Ekta for that. How come she never says these things to me? The fans do get insistent. But I always speak nicely to them. I'm surprised at how much they're affected by my decision to marry Sneha. I keep getting hate mail warning me against Sneha. But I'm sorry, my fans will just have to come to terms with her presence in my life."
