CHAPTER 25

"Manik!! "Sania called him haltingly.


"Don't u dare call me." Manik strode towards me and yanked the hands of the still astounded minions of Sania. "How dare u to grip on her that hard." Manik muttered as he bore his furious eyes at the two girls, his hands held mine, as he pulled I near him.


"So as I said I will never let my fingers signing a divorce paper against our marriage, Sania."Manik told her, I could see the seriousness lying on his orbs.

Sania shook her head, trying to deny the facts she just heard. "Look, Manik I am here again, we can be together again." One tear slid down to her right cheek.


The regret and fondness was hovering in her face, I couldn't deny the fact that I felt sorry for her. Feeling such agony and hurt is just too much for me to break down and be weak, but then I thought that this moment served as her karma.

"No Sania. My present time is too good to be true. We both are married and I know it is forced, but we have learned how to love each other."


"I don't want to let this moment slip and feel such sufferings again. I want to move on with Nandini." Manik spoke as he gritted his teeth in agitation."Please, just leave us alone." Manik interlaced his hands against mine as he pulled me outside the classroom.


The crowd of students made a way for me to walk, once he halted his steps in the deserted place I met the eyes of Soha with her odd behaviour. Manik grinned suddenly.

"Thank u for informing me about their fight, Soha." I furrowed my eyebrows at his statement, but I choose to listen.


"Well, sorry for taking up the pictures yesterday and spreading them like a fire. I couldn't control my anger and planned evil things again, but realizing that Nandini changed u optimistically and also the fact that Nandini's wisdom words before knocked me out my senses, maybe this was the time to pay. I knew that this is hard for me, since I liked Manik so much. I just found out that u were already married. Your fangirls would cry all night because of the information, Manik. But no one can do anything to break two you right? I'm sorry for all what I have done. I just set this up just for u to be aware of what will happen if ever Sania knew that u were already taken or more like married to someone who deserves u. I am warning to two of u, this is just the beginning. I know Sania enough." Soha, smiled and looked at me."Take care of Manik, okay?"


I nodded leisurely and uttered."I will and I forgive u."

Smiling, I offered my hand to her and she accepted it. "I hope we will be friends." I grinned. "We will."

The wind outside grazed my skin, we were going to the parking lot to go home since Manik wanted to treat my bruises due to the tight gripping of that girls.


I leisurely looked up and my eyes met with Samar's concerned eyes as he leaned himself near the stairs.

"Manik, wait." I muttered. Manik heaved a sigh and looked at me. "You said to return this handkerchief to him, right?" My index finger pointed to his figure, but he was nowhere in sight.


"Set aside that, Nandini. I need to treat your bruises first, this is a long day for us." Manik pulled me towards his car and gently laid me inside the passenger seat. "I am so worried about u." He said as he plopped himself at the driver seat. "Since, the whole college knows about us, u should stick urself to me everytime, okay?"


I just nodded and looked at him. "Thank u for being on time."


Manik sighed and pecked me on my lips.

"I love you." I said.


"I love you more." He replied.

One week. It is been a week since that fight. While Sania, is not seen anymore in the college but her twin brother was still here. I heard some news that she was just resting herself for all the happenings or she's drinking all the brands of alcoholic drinks just to temporarily seal the wound she's been feeling in her heart.

I was afraid that she'll come back and get her revenge from me, I was afraid enough to lose Manik, but I was hundred percent sure that he'll no longer go back to her. He hated her enough to do that.


I was lying on the bed and let Life was really challenging, while I was feeling such happiness there was always the fear of opposite happenings. Suddenly someone knocked on the door, I lifted my one eyelid and peeked. "Manik, u can enter."


"I bought you a vanilla flavoured ice cream, as you requested." My body jerked upwards as my eyes shimmered in delight. "Omg!" I stood up and give Manik butterfly kisses on his face while uttering thank you's.

"Thanks!" I beamed.


Manik grinned and he ruffled my hair. "Everything for you."

"Why did u ask for a Vanilla flavoured ice cream, when u love strawberry flavoured deserts?"


I bit my lip as I thought for an answer. Honestly, I didn't know why I requested him and it was just my tongue and my veins were asking for it. Uncertainty flooded my mind as I thought further, I never order vanilla.

"Okay, enough of the thoughts. Now, go eat that and we will have our reviews."Manik kissed my forehead as I stayed still at my place.


But then my eyes spotted the ice cream in my hands and beamed. "This could distract me up while studying." I mumbled against my breath.

"Understood?" Manik tapped the pencil against the math reviewer.

"Slight. I'll try answering this questions." I told him and pulled the papers.

Manik sighed in content and leaned his head with his closed fist, staring at me. He never wanted to wish anything except being with me. Waking up with my warmth, seeing my back figure during class, eating with me during lunch and sleeping at night with the moonlight reflecting in the window with me.


This is what he wants, the life with a glint of heavens and feeling the love that surrounds us. Now that the students knew that we were already married, he was beyond happy knowing that he has the right to protect me. I would have the freedom to have him by my side. He suddenly chortled.

"What are u giggling at?" I asked.

Manik raised his hands to set aside my messy bangs and smiled. "You are so cute, having a hard time with that easy review?" He told me.

"You are lucky that god gifted u enough knowledge for this subject."


"And god gifted u enough, that he gave u such amazing husband."

I was about to retort but he hushed me with his index finger in contact with my lips.

"I am very lucky that god gave me such an amazing wife who makes me happy every day." He kissed the tip of my nose and grinned.


"Will u stop being cheesy?" I stopped the upcoming smile and tried to focus on my reviewer.

He tugged one set of my locks and hid it behind my ear.

"I am stating a fact though." He specified.

I looked at him with a light glare. "Here is it. Check it. Since I am humble enough, If I have a correct answer in that 3 questions for 1 question correct, 1 kiss."


"What if all of them are wrong?" Manik questioned.

"Then u can kiss my cheeks." Smirking, I crossed my arms and waited for him to finish examining my answers.

"Are u done?"


He waved the paper in front of me as I stared at the three checks with a word perfect at the upper right side of the paper.

"You are kidding me aren't u? U corrected that items so that u can have some kis""


He suddenly grabbed my head and tilted for a good entrance for his reward. His lips lied in contact with mine, kissing it gently with a glint of passion, I closed my eyes as I replied to the kiss. His lips were too addicting and the way he touched my nape, I felt electricity running through my spine yet it felt so good. He broke off the kiss and smirked.

"No, they are all correct, u don't have to worry, u are smart enough to pass the examination."


He was stroking my cheeks with his thumb, I smiled at him and whacked him gently on his head.

"I just said u can have 3 kisses not this kind of kiss."

Manik laughed and pinched my cheeks."Well, don't forget the 2 kisses left for my reward."

"Now let's continue our review." He kissed my forehead and nuzzled his nose against mine.

"One kiss. Down." I chortled as he closed his mouth abruptly.

"I don't care. I'll kiss u forever."
