Everyone settled on the dinning table for breakfast. Nandini and Nyonika were serving.
M: Lady, What are ur plans? U will work?
Mu: Lady like seriously...bhai Nandu has a very pretty name: Nandini .
M: Yeah Nandini...pretty name...pretty long and pretty meaningless...very pretty..
If anyone will urgently call her taking her name would waste most of the time.
Mu: Bhai...U can call her Nandu she won't mind...even that would waste ur time...u should go with something even shorter... NAN-DI-NI.
Shortest would be DI...ya call her DI. This word is only full of love.It will be the best.
Maan Malhotra: Muku beta...this is too much.
Manik beta if u r having problem with her pretty name...u can call her jaan, candy, bae, sweetheart...no again that would be long...or wifey.
None of us would mind.
M: Okay dad... I will call her jaan.
Mu: Oho not bad bhai.
To which Manik just smiles where as Nandu frowns.
N: Dad I will work. I hav shortlisted few companies in Delhi.
Maan: Beta whats the need to work in any other company. You will work on ur previous post in our company.
Manik was about to say something but he stopped at his father's glare.
N: Okay dad as u say.
Maan: Beta u join from next week. So have u both decided any place ?
M: place??? Why dad??
Mu: Dad please don't say u r throwing ur son out of ur house. Dad U know he is psycho...bt please don't do this.
Nyo: Seems Muku has started watching daily soaps now a day...this much melodrama.
(Looking towards Manik and Nandini) On a serious note, we r talking about ur honeymoon.
M: Dad but...
Maan: No meeting...no work or any other of ur rubbish reason is accepted. Tell us the place or we will decide that.
Manik though pretends to be very brave but is scared of his dad. Due to lack of confidence, he had no other option than to agree.
M: Dad I have a perfect location for our honeymoon...we will go to our office and settle there. You see this will save money and I can even work and is she wants...JAAN can also join.
Nyo: Beta will it look nice if I will slap u infront of ur wife on the first day after ur marriage.
Manik makes bad face and continue eating.
Nyo: Then keep ur mouth shut...I have an idea.
You both can go to Kulhu (a hill station) to mom. She will also feel nice as due to some problems she was not able to turn up for the wedding and Kulhu is a really beautiful holiday destination... u both will love it. Nandini do u hav any other suggestions??
N: No mom its perfect.
Maan: Ok I will book the tickets for tomorrow. Now u both also hav breakfast with us.
Nyonika settles down and Nandini goes to kitchen to bring some more vegetables.
Maan: Manik Beta, I know u r mature and a gentleman but then also I consider it my responsibility to tell u...Beta now Nandini is ur wife and u hav to take care of her. She has left her home and come to u...Its ur responsibility to make her happy and make sure nothing hurts her. This will take time but have to try to be comfortable with each other.
Nandini enters...servers a plate for Nyonika. When a plan comes to Manik afterall he has to take the revenge.
M: Nandini u settle. I will serve for u.
N: (She found something fishy) No need Manik.
M: Please...(he said making a puppy face).
Nyo: Nandini do need to hesitate...we won't mind.
Manik serves the plate and hand it to her.
He pours out Raita (a spicy dish made of yogurt) in a big bowl and mixed a spoon of chilly powder in the already spicey raita when everyone is busy in eating.
M: Jaan taste this Raita...this is my fav. and my mom makes this like no one else.
Mu: Ya Nandu...u will love this.
M: You know just to retain its taste in our mouth we don't drink water after eating it.
Manik forwards the bowl but again takes it back winking at her.
M: Jaan I will feed it to u if u don't mind.
N: No need.
M: please I insists.
Manik feeds her as soon as she tastes it her eyes widen in shock.
M: Its delicious na Jaan. I knew u will surely like it.
Nandu smiles in helplessness. Manik continue to feed her after having few bites of food. The heat inside her mouth was visible from her eyes as they were red and she cannot control tears.
M: What happened jaan...?? Why r u crying?? Don't u liked the food...??
Nyo: Beta its ok if don't liked...u should not have ate it.
N: No mom, I loved wo to my mom also used to make this...It reminded me of her.
Nyo: (she hugged Nandini) Beta I m also ur mom.
Ok as everyone has completed, retire to ur rooms and I will wrap everything in the kitchen.
N: Mom I will join u.
Nyo: No beta u go to ur room and do ur packing.
Nandini's mouth was burning but unfortunately she had to go to her room as there was no water left on the table as Manik intentionally drank all and mom was in the kitchen.
In her room, she searched for water everywhere but couldn't find any. She was crying badly. Manik sat on the bed and was enjoying the view.
M: Jaan are u okay. Jaan come sit with me...why u r jumping like a mad elephant?
Nandini gave him a "I will kill look."
M: Jaan u know why I preferred to call u Jaan?
N: Yes because it is an abbreviation of Janwar. Its an old joke...now u just shut up and please get me water.
M: Smart girl...Bt u really think I will give u water. U will slap me, tied me and again beat me. After all these domestic violence, I will give u water in ur dreams jaan.
N: Please Manik.
Manik started laughing.
M: Poor Jaan. U shouldn't hav messed with me.
Nandini was just unable to control. She just jumped on the bed and forced her lips on him. Maink was surprised and didn't responsed back but Nandini bite his lips which forced Manik to open his mouth with a moan. Nandini tasted each and every corner of his mouth to cool her burn.After a long time, when she breaked the kiss when she was unable to breathe.
M: Now since u hav forcefully kissed me, I should do the same u did yesterday... right?
He raised his hands to slap her...
