Yes ofcourse..the makers should give up the quest of matching up or bettering a previous dance based show which was loved just coz some spiteful fans dislike the lead or liked that show.
Its crazy that in your hate for one guy you ppl are discouraging an entire team of artists, creatives n technicians. And yes if someone can make a D3..they by all means can make something way better too.

Also if wasn't talented no one would have money to spend on his show n cast him as lead. Also he wouldn't gave 100k+ followers on SNS...
