Chapter - 6

Recap - nandini gave him the jacket back..manik drpped nandini to her job..

So here goes next...

Manik 's pov...

Nandini murthy..she is exactly the same how i thought of her to be.. Beautiful, cute, lovely, intelligent, so innocent...her eyes speak volumes..anyone can see her pure soul through her eyes.. I love her..yes..I LOVE NANDINI..and i will make sure she loves me back equally..
I still remember the day when i saw her first..

FLASHBACK...

7 months ago...

I was driving my car racklessly..i was very angry because of my fight with my dad..it was raining heavily..i hate rain..they make me feel so many emotions which i really dont like..my mom used to love rain..she used to always play with me in rain..her laughter would echo in the whole garden..my dad would lovingly watch us happily playing in the rain..but now everything is changed..there is no happy family now..

i was lost in the thoughts when suddenly i saw a child in the middle of the road running towards a car and he was very near..i slammed the break but i didnt realise that tires of the car were muddy and break didnt apply immediately..my car was very near to the child..suddenly one girl came running towards the baby and shielded him with her body..i steered my car to the left side and again slammed the break forcefully..and finally car stopped with the screech..i got out of the car and went towards that girl and a baby..i was very angry..how can someone leave their baby on the road alone..

" are you mad?? Apne bachhe ko sambhal nai sakti..he could have died " i barked at her angrily..her back was towards me..." I am sorry " she simply said sorry but her voice was very beautiful..it was really soothing to ears..

Suddenly one woman came and took the baby from her... " thank you so much..nandini..tum itne jaldi mein aayi..i was looking for him from last half an hour..pata nahi kab yaha pe aa gaya..in orphanage k bachho ko tum hi sambhal sakti ho..sab dramebaaz hai.." That woman was non stop complaining about the children to that girl..so i started walking towards my car but again i heard her voice and stopped in my track...

" sofia..aunty please dont call that home..orphan age..it is their home..and they are not orphans..aur aap itni careless kaise ho sakti hai..agar ise kuchh ho jata to...it was very thoughtful of this guy to steere away the car from us..otherwise this kid would have been injured..its time of rainy season..yaha lights aksar chali jati hai..you should be more careful for kids.." She scold that woman angrily..
" i am sorry nandini " that woman turned to go back to the place looking like orphanage..it was very beautiful and was looking breathtaking still in the dark..i was lost in the beauty of the place when voice of that girl brought me back.." Thank you so much for breaking the accident.."

I can only see her eyes in the moonlight..it was very captivating..anyone can lost in her beautiful eyes..i really wanted to see her face..i bet she is most beautiful girl.. But it was very dark..and i am sure she also cant see my face..she turned to walk away..i wanted her to stop..but she didnt stop..when she was out of my sight..i finally walked back to my car and got in.. I tried to start the car but it didnt happen..damn..it broke down..i got out of it and still it was raining heavily..so i started walking towards the place which is orphanage..

I entered in it and suddenly all lights got started..it was really very beautiful place..it has a big garden and a big building..and same girl came with more than ten kids out of the building and started playing and dancing with them in the rain..i can clearly see her face now...she has cute nose..pouty full lips..her long midnight black hair..she had worn a simple tee and denim shorts..her personality was speeking only one thing and that was INNOCENCE..she was dancing crazily with the kids and was laughing..her laughter was like a music.. I was staring at her without any blink..but my trance was broken by tap on my shoulder..

i saw the same woman was looking at me with the questions.. " woh..my car broke down..yaha pe koi mechanic milega?? " i asked her.." No..sir yaha pe iss waqt koi mechanic nahi milega..its highway area of manglore and aapko atleast 15 kms jana padega for mechanic..aap ek kam kijiye aaj rat yahi ruk jaiyein..kal subah aap ke liye mechanic hum bula denge.." She suggested me..i wanted to say no..but what came out of my mouth surprised me..i said yes.." Thik hai aap andar chaliye " before following her i glanced towards the girl..but to my disappointment..no one was there...she gave me one room..and gave some clothes and towel to dry myself...

After half an hour..the same woman knocked on my door.." Sir, nandini mam ne apki car repair kardi hai..agar aap chahe to jaa sakte hai.." She informed me.." I want to thank her..where is she??" I wanted a chance to meet her but her answer diappointed me again.." Mam to chali gai "

" woh yaha nahi rehti?? " i asked her to gain information about her..
" nahi..woh yaha roz bachho se milne aati hai..yeh orphanage unke parents ne banvaya tha..but they died after one year..aur nandini mam hi ab yeh orphanage sambhalti hai..aur inhone iska nam rakha hai.." Maa ka dil " aur woh sab bachhon ko yahi sikhati hai ki..hum sab special bachhe hai isiliye hum maa ke dil mein rehte hai.." She told smilingly.. I smiled after like ages from my heart..

When i reached home that day in morning..i was still thinking about her..in my whole life i have never thought about any girl that much.. She was ruling on my mind..initially i thought its because i have never met that kind of girl..after more than a week..i still couldnt get her out of my mind..i would always dream about her..so i told dhruv and cabir about that incident..by listening it cabir got instant liking towards her..dhruv is always shy and reserved guy..so he didnt react on it..

cabir told me to find that girl but i chucked that thought out of my mind..because she is really innocent..if she will come into my life..her life will be messed just like mine..i am a messed up guy..and girl like her should always stay away from me..i made up mind to forget that girl..

But all my rational thoughts ran out of the window..when i saw her again... in my college..after nearly one month from that incident..

FLASHBACK
6 months ago..

she was wearing a white crop top..black denim shorts and net top on the crop top..as usual she was looking beautiful but what i noticed next made my blood boiled..some guys were checking her out..but she was oblivious of it..she was speaking something looking at the sky and was making cute faces and pouts which made me smile..

I was standing with cabir and dhruv..and they saw me smiling..which shocked them..so they also saw in that direction..it also made them smile..
" cute girl..at the same time hot girl " cabir commented about her and i glared at him..and finally realisation downed upon them...
" she is the orphanage girl.. Am i right?? " cabir asked me teasingly..and i rolled my eyes at him..

"She is going to be my friend " he declared and started walking towards her..but dhruv pulled him back from his collor.." No..we are not going near her.." He said clamly..

" why??" Me and cabir both asked him..i asked him angrily and cabir asked him annoyed..

" guys..you forgot..we are THREE MUSKETEERS..agar hum abhi uske pas gye to she will think we are going to torture her..and she will freak out..." He told us calmly..i think he has a point..

" So?? Whats your point?? Say clearly " cabir is more annoyed than me..
" we have to wait for the right time..once she settles down here then we will appraoch her.." I wanted to agree with him but..i have waited for so long and now that she is here..i dont know if i can wait or not..

" are you mad dhruv?? Aur kitna wait karna hai..tu kya chahta hai..hum wait karte rahe..aur koi ladka uska boyfriend ban jaye?? Tu yeh chahta hai..look there..how guys are looking at her..manik tu iski mat sun..she is going to be your girl..you know jabse tune uski bat kari hai..i always wanted her in our life..i am not going to let her go from our life.."he was glaring at dhruv..and was very annoyed with him..

" cabir is right..dhruv, what if she will find someone else?? And what if someone will bully her??" I told him..and thought of her being with someone only..scared me..

" you know what..i have an idea.. I will make sure she will be safe..i will follow her everywhere she goes..i will make sure about her safety..but please guys dont approach her not right now at least.." Dhruv suggested his idea..

" no..why cant manik or me follow her?? Why you?? " cabir voiced exactly my thoughts. Why not me??
" because..i dont trust you guys..i am sure you wont stick to the plan and definitely approach her " he spoke eyeing both of us..
" Plan?? What plan?? " i asked him..because i dont think humne koi plan banaya hai..
" plan is that..we are not going to come infront of her before the right time" he told us
" right time?? Yeh right time kab aayega?? " cabir asked him angrily..
" Cabir..tujhe nahi lagta tujhe jyada intereat hai iss girl me..manik se zyada.." Dhruv raised his eyebrow at him..
" ofcourse mujhe hai interest..bacause she is going to be manik's girl..and main yeh nahi chahta usse pehle koi aur uske life me aye..and i am going to make sure of it.."he said determinedly..
" hold on guys...you are talking about me..and i will decide what i want..why are you guys planning and plotting?? " i am really feeling annoyed..because they are talking about a girl..as if she is some project..

" we are not asking you because..still you are thinking that..you dont deserve her..and you are an idiot.." Cabir always knows whats going on in my mind..thats why he is my bro..

" But what are you going to do?? Tell me clearly.." I asked him because..cabir jab kuchh decide karta hai to woh uske liye kisi bhi had tak jata sakta hai..
" If we are going to follow his plan then i will make sure no guy will be around her..i will scare the shit of any guy who will try to approach her.." He spoke it as if he was talking about buying chocolates for a girl..i mean his expressions were of excitement..

FLASHBACK END..

So according to plan..everything was going perfect..we got to know so much about nandini ..dhruv would regularly sit behind her, follow her to the job..then cabir would wait for her to leave from her job and make sure that she safely reaches to the hostel..
Then i would go to her hostel..her room's balcony was facing towards the road..and i always used to watch her sitting in the balcony with her nightlamp on..and she would always read sitting there..i loved to see her whole night..it was routine for me..woh hamesha padhte padhte so jati thi and i used to honked my car horn to wake her up..so she can go to bed and not sleep on the chair in balcony itself...

This routine got broke when suddenly one day..dhruv informed me that she hadnt come to college..whole day she was out of our sight..we didnt have any idea..where she was..that night she was not in the balcony of her hostel also..so we all panicked.. And i realised i cant loose her.. Because i love her..she is my everything..i told cabir to find her..because dhruv was out of the town because of work..
