5 reasons why Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan should come to an end!
The show is going nowhere...
MTV's most well-liked show Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, has lost its charm. The series which once an fascinating one with exciting characters, is now more of a Nandini(Niti Taylor) & Manik(Parth Samthaan) love story. The show's fame was at stake when it's lead Parth Samthaan, had called it quits. But the actor is back & I've got to say that his comeback, has only resulted in the series getting worse. There is no story, Manik Nandini's love track is done to death, random characters are being included to continue the plot line; there's a lot happening on this show which is only resulting to it's decline. Here are 5 reasons why it's time for Kaise Yeh Yaariyan season 2 to wrap up:
Yaariyan out, pyaar in
As the name Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan suggest, this show is supposed to be about friendships. But it's become more of a love story thanks to Manik & Nandini boring cum cheesy AF love story, Aaliya and Dhruv's jealousy problem's and Aryaman's realization of his love for Nandini. every character is hurdled up in pairs and is in their cosy love corners. This show has now become the Remix of this generation.
Manik & Nandini ...please get a room!
It seems all Nandini & Manik can do, is act corny and cheesy till the viewers barf. There's a limit to which a couple's random romantic scenes can be shown on loop. It's like the makers have run out of content and are now pitching MaNan's (Manik Nandini )boring love story, where they can! Quite frankly, I can't tell one Manik-Nandini lovey dovey scene from the other. They all are the bloody same!
The exit door
With most of the cast members of the show having quit, it makes little sense for the show to go on. It started with Ayaz Ahmed aka Cabir who simply departed from the show one day and never returned. The hilarious part is that his exit wasn't explained as well. Next in line was Yuvraj Thakur aka Madhyam, followed by Utlarsh Gupta, who plays Dhruv in the series. With so many people having walked out the door, we wonder if leads Nandini and Parth are next in line. Moreover, it speaks volumes of the makers' inability to keep their actors intact.
Mukti the pacifier
I do not understand Mukti ( Charlie Chauhan's ) input to the show. Multi proved to be useful in the first season but I wish I could say the same for the current season. It seems all Mukti does is dress up well and pacify people. Think about it; half the time Mukti is seen asking someone or the other to cheer up and stop taking life seriously. Where every character has an excuse for a story in the current season, Mukti doesn't even have that.
A show without a story
The first season of Kaise Yeh Yaariyan was way more fascinating than the current one. Each character had a back story. Manik(Parth Samthaan) was a popular musician who was trying to reunite the band, Aaliya was battling an eating disorder, Navya Naveli was expecting a baby, Mukti was dealing with Harshad's unpredictable behaviour, Cabir came out of the closet and was dealing with the reactions to his sexuality, Aryaman was out to get Manik and Nandini was the latter's anchor through it all. Each and every character's story contributed to the plot on the whole. But now, there's hardly a solid story. It seems like the show has now become a compilation of random scenes, where the story is going nowhere.
