Manik's POV
I still cant believe she thinks that im behaving with her the way i behave with others, like seriously i still cant get over her words, doesnt she know me? or should i say she has known me only this much? i walk out of my room without looking at her. i could her calling me, taking my name again and again but i really didnt want to talk to her right now anymore. it was dad's birthday today and i didnt want to spoil his mood by being sad and disturbed infront of him. i see my friends right in front of the stairs. i brought a casual smile on my face and headed downstairs, nandini was also following me. though i was in no mood to attend the party right now but i had to, i just couldnt cancel the party which i, myself had thrown. suddenly i saw soha coming towards me. as expected she came to me and without thinking or asking she hugged me. but at that moment my mind was stuck only at nandinis words. she came in front of my sight.. stood beside cabir. she hurt me then why was now she sobbing and sad? even if i believe that she didnt mean what she said, then what did she actually want? my mind had a lot of questions. i was hurt, sad, angry , frustrated..altogether i was not able to understand what i was going through. may be thats why i didnt realize when i hugged soha back. my friends seem to be got the biggest shock. mukti was ready to dig my grave but my eyes were fixed at her. i even didnt care what soha was thinking, she was taking all this in a wrong way i guess but who cares? i never did take her seriously or wont take ever. i could feel my eyes turning into moist even more. she too didnt move her gaze from me... i broke the hug and excused myself from there and went upto dad. mainly i was avoiding her.

nandini remembered the night out of theirs on the day of talent parade. manik asked her on the beach to stop him from kissing her, but she didnt pay heed and there she made the mistake herself and now she was asking him to take a step back

"toa tum ho na humhe handle karnekeliye" though navya didnt realize what she said and what those meant somehow cabir felt nice and blushed a bit. finally after a lot of pleading cabir allowed her to take only one shot that too in a mocktail style.

nandini was looking for a scope to manik and manik himself knew she wanted to talk but he was in no mood of talking with her so he kept engaged himself with either the business associates, his dad or with some one of Fab5 so that nandini cant get the chance to start that topic once again.. his anger was much more than his hatred towards soha and thats why he talked with soha also for a while which made nandini even more angry as well as sad. The party ended with all these nokh jhok, stealing glances with each other, CavYa's madness and cuteness. finally it was departure time. navya was feeling sick and dizzy due to having two three shots all on a sudden

nandini wished everyone goodnight. lastly she came to manik

he rolled his eyes and went away from there. luckily none did notice this except cabir.

after dropping navya and nandini safely to their residence cabir came back to Malhotra mansion as he needed to talk to manik. luckily manik's dad was sleeping and manik was alone in the pool side when cabir came with two cans of beer

he patted on maniks shoulder and sat beside him handing him the beer can

manik said and went inside of the house leaving cabir there alone.

Next morning , SPACE
nandini was sitting in the class but her mind was somewhere else. since the class started she had not listened to any of the words spoken by the teacher. all she could think was how to talk to manik. her thoughts interrupted when her phone buzzed. it was text from cabir.
"meet me at the stair case once ur class finishes" ---cabir
she found a light of hope that may be cabir was able to convince manik to talk to her. as soon as the lecture finished nandini rushed to the stair case and saw cabir sitting there

n=hi cabir..kya hua? manik se baat kiya? woh maan gaya ?
c=nandini um sorry but for the first time i was not able to convince him
cabir narrated the whole thing to nandini which made her cry

manik came to the jamm room as per as the rehearsal schedule but there was no one.

he received a text from cabir
"come at the terrace. practice session is here today" ---- cabir
m=terrace par? god.. what is all this?!
manik went to the terrace but there also he found nobody. moreover there was not any instrument for practice

he heard her voice. she was here but how? he realized may be it was her idea to call him here at the terrace with the help of cabir. he took a deep breathe and turned around. she had tears in her eyes
n=manik... please listen to me for once. please... i know ke tum gussa ho, ur sad hurt all because of me but..please just once hear me out
he stood there crossing his hands across his chest facing her his back
n=manik... i know ke kal meri batose tumhe bohot hurt hua ha. mujhe yeh sab kehna nahi chahiye tha and believe me i didnt mean all these things . pata nahi kaise mane yeh sab... manik i didnt want to ruin anything between us, trust me. main bass itna kehna chahti thi ke... manik last few days hum bohot close agaye ha ek dusreke , manik mujhe daar lagta ha , yeh sab bohot new hain mere lie . tum jante ho ke main sabke jaise nahi hu. itne sare logome maine sirf tumhe apna ek saccha partner mana ha, tumne humesha meri madat ki ha, u are very special to me aur main esa kuch nahi chahti jaldbazi me ho jiski wajase humhe kal pachtana pare. i just want ke humare beech me sab accha ho. i want all these moments to be special, to pass slowly taki hum each and every moment ko aur nazdik se mehsoos karsake, ek dusreko aur acchese samajh sake..thats why. manik trust me.. i never intended to hurt u never ever. manik kuch to bolo please, say something..
he turned around and took steps towards her. she was impatiently waiting for his reply

he was about to leave when she holded his hand

m=nandini tumhe pata ha when my mom left me and dad alone, since then i dont trust the relation between us. mere lie mere dad hi mere mom and dad both ha, mere lie parents ka matlab sirf father and son ka rishta hain. i dont trust and expect anything from her. shayed, wasa kuch humare beech horaha hain. kuch khubsurat bannese pehle bigar gaya
