Chapter 2
Nandini and alya were in the shopping mall and tried lots and lots of dresses though they bought only a few!!girls you know!!
"Alya its almost time...only half an hour left lets go to the theater"said nandini checking her watch.
"Ya lets go...i'll call and inform them also"
"Inform them??but whome to inform??"said nandini with a confused expression.
"You will know that soon"saying this alya dragged nandini to the theater.
When nandini and alya entered the theater they looked at a group of ppl who were facing their back towards them.
"You called them all...right?"said nandini.
"Absolutely right!!they are our frnds and its been a long time that we have hang out together!"said alya and started walking towards them.
"Thats fine but did you call HIM?"
" ofcourse...Aree nandu he is also our friend now and besides he is a very nice person idk why do you ppl always fight?"
"Its not my fault he asks for it"
Alya rolled her eyes at nandu's reply and both of them started walting towards their friends.
"Hey guys!!"said alya and nandu cheerfully.alya went and hugged dhruv.They both were in a relationship.
"Hello!!"said every one with a smile.
"Where were you ppl?"said mukti.
Mukti also worked at the same MNC as nandu and aliya.
"We were shopping"
"What you ppl went shopping without me!!"complained mukti like a child.
"Are mukti we called you but you were buzzy with your romancing session with abhi na.."teased nandu.
Mukti blushed and hit nandu playfully.
"where is manik??"said cabir.
"Here i am"said a voice.everyone turned back to look at the source of the voice and they saw THE MANIK MALLHOTRA looking handsome as ever with his signature smirk written on his face which can make any girl fall for him.
Manik mallhotra,son of a rich business man.his father has a big business empire in USA and he was in India to look after their company in india.he is mukti's cousin.
He had come to mumbai only a month ago.he and the boss of nandu were good friends.He quickly gelled up with everyone in then group except for nandini.Both of them always used to fight on silly things whenever they met.May be because they had completly opposite personality.but as it is said opposites attract ;)
"Think of the devil and the devil has come"said mummered nandini.
"Heard you"said manik still smirking.
"Thank god you did so now you know that you are no less than a devil...monster"
"You..."before manik could reply dhruv cut him off.
"Guys lets go inside the theater or else these two will start fighting again".
Both of them went inside not before shooting angry glares at each other.
After the movie and a nice dinner in a big restaurant all parted their ways. As alya had some work she left without nandini.
Nandini was walking in the parking going towards her car talking to her ayyapa looking towards heaven.
"Ayyapa why does this always happen to me?why only me?now how come i am going to find my mr perfect?huh?tell me??atleast help now help me to find him...plez!!"
Suddenly she slipped...she closed her eyes in fear and just then a pair of protective arms held her...she opened her eyes to find manik looking at her intensely.both got lost in each others eyes.ther eyelock was broken by a car horn...they realised their position and moved out of the cars way.
"Cant you just look forward and walk..."
"Huh??"
"What huh why you always keep annoying your ayyappa with your stupid talks...idk how he tolerates you.."said manik sarcstically.
"That's non of your business mr malhotra"said nandini coldly and went towards her car without giving any chance to manik to speak further.
Nandini was trying to open the car door from the last 5min but the door was too stubborn."oh god this is so annoying...open!!"nandini was hell frustrated now.
And manik was leaning against his car enjoying himself looking at the show suppersing his laughter.finally he burst out laughing.
This made nandini more irritated."if you cant help then atleast dont laugh...monster!!"
"So you want my help huh??"said manik walking towards her with his all time smirk painted on his face.Hearing this nandini turned towards him and was shocked to see him soo close.
Nandini was once again drowned in his eyes.he leaned closer to her...her back was facing towards the car...nandinis heart was beating like crazy and she was hoping that manik could not listen to it...she closed her eyes in responce.
"Done"said manik in a low voice.
Nandinis eyes shot opened listning to this.
"Huh?"she said without thinking.
"Your car door got opened"
"Door?...oh ya door!! Thanks"she said composing herself.
Manik leaned towards her and said in her ear in a husky voice..she could feel him smillimg against her ear.
"Were you expecting something else??"
"Noo...no...ummm...what will i expect...nothing"said nandini stammering badly...she coluld not stand the proximity between them
Fortunately she got a call from her mother which saved her from further embaressment..."bye"she said and quickly sat in her car and drove off.
"This girl na..."thought manik running his hand in his hair...he also sat in his car and went home.
