"Helllooo guys!", Mukti came in the garden greeting us.

We all greeted her except Madhyam because he was as usual busy in his phone. He didn't even looked up to see who has joined us. Seriously! This guy naah.. He's so irritating. He doesn't even have basic morals or manners in his life. Arggh.. I can't stand him anymore !!

"Chalo yrr andar chalte hai..", I said.

Mukti, Aliya and Navya got up.

"Tu nhi chal rha Cabir?", I asked him.

"Nhi, kuch zaruri kaam hai.. Tum log chalo me abhi Ata hun..", he said.

"Okay! Hum chalte hai.."

"Han.. Aur hme thoda girl's time bhi mil jayega..", Mukti said.

"Toh tu kyu ja rhi hai inke sath.. Tu kabse ladki bn gyi meri gada dari bheem..", Cabir tease Mukti.

"Caabiir..!!", Mukti shrieked and hit him playfully.

We all laughed and finally we girls went inside the mansion in my room to chill.

Now, only Cabir and Madhyam were left outside.

Cabir cleared his throat in order to grab Madhyam's attention, but it went in vain. Then finally,

"Madhyam! I want to talk to you.", Cabir said seriously.

Then Madhyam shouted suddenly, "Wuhhooo..! I won. (He showed Cabir his mobile) See Cabir.. High score! Tere wale se bhi zyada hai.."

Cabir knew that he was irritating him as he didn't wanted to talk, "Madhyam mene bola mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai.."

"Han toh aur tujhe Ata bhi kya hai? Bada bhai me hun aur Bashan tu mujhe deta rehta hai.. Isn't that funny?", he said laughing.

"Sirf char mahine Madhyam! Chaar mahine phele peda hone se koi bada bhai nhi ban jata.. "

Madhyam just smirked, "Yah! You are right!"

Madhyam stood up and was about to go but Cabir stopped him, "Tujhe kya lagta Jo tu karne Ki koshish kar rha hai mujhe samajh nhi aarha.."

Madhyam rolled his eyes, "Ab kya kiya mene Bhaiya?", he said sarcastically.

"M talking About Nandani.."

"Ohh! So bodyguard back in action.."

Cabir controlled his temper, "Jo pucha hai uska jawaab de.."

But Madhyam ignored his statement, "Vese tujhe bodyguard appoint kisne kiya (He came in front of Cabir) Let me see.. Maaanik (And he laughed). Right? (Cabir rolled his eyes) Vese deta kya hai Manik tujhe Nandani ke age peeche ghumke uska dhyan rakhne ka.. Haan?"

"Nandani ka khayal rkhne ke liye Kisi ko mujhe kuch kehne ya dene Ki zarurat nhi hai Madhyam.. She's my family!"

"And tumhari yeh so called family meri fiance hai.. So me us se kese behave krta hun.. Kyu Karta hun.. That shouldn't be your concern. Common! Itni toh privacy apko hme deni chahiye na Bhaiya..", he said last two sentences mimicking a baby.

"Ekbaar yaad rakhle Madhyam.. Agar Vo kabhi bhi Teri vajah se hurt hui naah.. Toh mujhse bura koi nhi hoga..", Cabir said looking straight into his eyes. I knew he meant every word of it. Afterall, he's my Cabiraa.

Madhyam went away whistling and without replying.

Nandani's Room:

"Mukti tumhare pas bhi R.A.C. ka invitation aya hoga na?", Aliya asked.

"What? R.A.C.? Nhi toh..", Mukti said.

"Hmare pas bhi abhi thodi der phele hi aya..", I said.

"Wait! Let me check...", Mukti picked up her phone and went to balcony to call at her home.

Aliya got busy with her headphones and Mobile probably listening a song. I really wanted to talk to Navya since a long time but couldn't get time, now I thought it was the right time. I asked her to come and sit near me. She came.

"Navya! Ek baat puchu?"

"Hmm.."

"Hum jab se Raigarh aye hai.. Itna sabkuch Hua hai.. I mean mere Mukti and Cabir Ke beech.. Fab-5 se related.. Tumne abhi tak mujhse Kuch nhi pucha.. Kyu ??"

Navya smiled at me and that made me more confused, she finally spoke, "Nandu! I trust you. Agar tumne mujhe kuch nhi btaya apne past se related to uska kuch reason hoga.. I can understand (She went lost somewhere) Aur past Ki kuch cheezein bahut painful hoti hai.. I know.. Toh baar baar unki baat karke ya Kisi ko btane se vo pain yaad hi ayega na.. We broke the hug and just smiled at each other. Now, Mukti has also Come after her call.

"Yah guys! Invite pahunch gya mere ghar bhi.. Actually jab me yahan Ke liye nikli thi tbhi aya.."

"Oh..", I said.

"Hmm.. Toh kya plan hai? Sab chal rhe hai naa..", Mukti asked.

"Han..aur is baar hm bhi jayenge..", Navya chirped.

"Ohh! Good.", Mukti smiled at her.

"Hey Nandani Aaj tumhare liye press conference hai mansion me.. Tumne btaya nhi..", Aliya said.

"What? Press Conference?", I was confused.

"Han dekho..", Aliya showed me her mobile. She was listening songs on an online site and there was advertisement of a news channel of my live press conference on the top.

"But mujhe Kisi ne nhi btaya.. How can this be possible?", I was hell angry at RaniMaa. She can talk with me about Madhyam, my duties, my mistakes.. But she didn't had time time to tell me about this conference.

"Me abhi ayi..", I took a leave from there and went straight to RaniMaa's room.

She was not there. I asked one of the servants and he told me that she is in the meeting room. I went there and bashed inside ignoring the presence of other people in the room, "Aaj press conference hai.. Why didn't you tell me?"

There were some ministers and delegates present there. I sensed that there was an important meeting going on there.

RaniMaa got angry but didn't want to create any scene in front of others, so came outside dragging me.

"Yeh kya kar rhi thi tum?"

"Ap phele mujhe yeh btayie Ki apne mujhse bina puche press conference kyu rakhi?"

"Tum puchke puchke gyi aaj subah?"

I feel disgusted. "Ohh! So now you are playing tit for tat. Seriously?"

"Nhi Nandani. Hum tumhari tarah nhi hai.. Yeh press conference Raigarh aur tumhare liye zaruri thi.. You are going to rule this place and that's why people want to meet you. Isme harz hi kya hai?"

"Harz press conference me nhi hai RaniMaa.. Harz is cheez me hai Ki apne mujhe yeh btana zaruri nhi smjha.."

"Hum tumhare paas ane hi wale the btane.. Ab tum jake tayaar hojao.. Ek ghante me press conference hai.. Adhe ghante tak reporters bhi ane shuru hojayenge.. Tumhare liye makeup artists aur hairstyles bhi bulwa liye hai humne.. Thodi der tak aajayenge.. Aur Han ek aur cheez, phele hum tumhare sath conference me ane wale the.. Par ab hme Kisi zaruri kaam ke liye bahar Jana padh rha hai.. Toh Madhyam will join you.", She left after saying this.

I couldn't believe this. How could she be so mean? Ohh god! Hadd hoti Kisi cheez Ki.. How will I fight this Dad? How?

I came inside the room and saw a lady standing with some dresses and Aliya was busy admiring those dresses and Mukti was moving here and there, probably waiting for me.

"Lo. Nandani aagyi..", Navya said as soon as she saw entering me.

"Good Evening Ma'am. These are some dresses which will suit for the press conference. Plz ap decide karlijiye ap konsi phenegi..", The designer told me.

"See Nandani.. Kitni beautiful dresses hai..", Aliya said excitedly.

"Tu chal mere sath..", Mukti drag me in a corner. She continued, "Yeh kya chal raha hai? Achanak se yeh press conference kyu..?"

"Achanak se ni Mukti.. RaniMaa ne press conference rakhvayi thi.. But btaya ab.."

"Btaya nhi.. Tujhe achanak se pta laga hai.. Oh god this lady !! Chahti kya hai yeh?"

"Idk Mukti !! Din bar din inhe handle karna mushkil hota ja rha hai.. M really feeling suffocated here."

Mukti's phone started ringing. Mukti said, "Not again!"

"Kya Hua?", I asked.

Mukti made a face, "Mom! Good knows when she will let me live in peace." She picked up the call.

"Yah!"

"Stop it Mom."

"M not a kid.."

"Whatever.."

"Ok fine."

"Yah! M coming.. "

"Khush ab? Bye."

Mukti looked at me helplessly. "Mukti u go and don't worry. M fine.. Trust me.."

"M really Sorry Nandu.. But I have to go.. Yeh mom na !!"

"It's k.. Ja tu.. Don't worry.", I smiled at her and then finally she went. Her mom was always like that. She never wanted Mukti to befriend with me. She hates Royals. But no one can stop Love or Friendship, it's just happens.

"Nandani! You will wear this dress.. It's final.", Aliya broke my chain of thoughts. I smile at her and replied, "Sure."

Navya asked me through her gesture if I was fine. I told her not to worry, I was fine.

I changed my clothes and hair styles and make-up artists started their work.

In the other room Madhyam was also getting ready for the press conference.

Cabir came to me and cheered me up before the press conference. He wanted to go with me but he was not allowed because of RaniMaa's strict order that no one will go in the meeting room for press conference except me and Madhyam.

Now, we both were ready for the press conference. It was about to start in 10 minutes.

I was in my vest and shorts punching my punching bag. A letter was lying on the floor written 'R.A.C.' over it. Dhruv had just gone after black mailing me a lot to come with him in R.A.C.. What does he think? I don't want to come? I know she's going to come. I want to see her, feel her after these long six years. But I don't wanna hurt her again. I will not be able to see that hatred in her eyes for me again. I just can't. And this dilemma was killing me. And maybe that's why I was pouring out my frustration on this lifeless punching bag.

The television of my room was on. I heard the reporter saying that the press conference was about to start in few minutes. I stopped punching. I was going to see my Nandu after ages, yes through television but still. My heart beats are racing very fast, god knows because of what? Because of punching for a long time or excitement of seeing my Nandani after ages. I was confused.
