This was something I have never read before! I want to appreciate your work but I can't find the right words to... First of all, I am not very familiar with Manik and Nandini; I only came here to read because you have written this and I am glad I did though. I found the story open to the reader's perspective as to what really happened and I really like that. It's a little confusing though since the initial part has been written in Nandini's point of view but she doesn't remember it ever happened... or has it ever even happened? Or is it in Manik's head? Like I said, he meets Nandini from a future where Manik isn't with her. As for why Nandini doesn't remember, it's because it hasn't happened for her yet.

PS: It reminds me of Dumbledore's dialogue: 'Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?' Potterhead :")

I love the fact that it was so open to interpretations, I know mine, but it makes me want to find out what is yours and others interpretations are...😆 I'm not much for sad endings, but I was reading something angsty and it just inspired me to write. And also Doctor Who. Something like travelling through time just removes so many restrictions, and it becomes easy to explore emotions and reactions to things that otherwise might not happen. This was Nandini getting to see Manik one last time when she thought she'd never see him again.

And it makes me wonder so many things, like did Manik remember her and the encounter all this time or he just was reminded of it? What was his reaction when he first met her if he did remember her? How did he feel when he first "officially" met her and she behaved like a total stranger? SO, so many to wonder about...🤓 No, he remembers. He met a strange girl on a rainy evening, and he feels like he knows her when he couldn't possibly.

But what I loved the MOST is:-

How in 2012, she smiled a sad smile when he didn't "remember" and she said the same thing what his future self have...

And how in 2015, he smiled a sad smile when she did "remember" and said what she has said to his past self...

So, so amazing and mind-blowing...!!! Parallels! My favourite things! 😆
