Chapter 13 A

Manvi woke up and saw Nandini still sleeping. She carefully untangled herself from Nandini taking care that she don't disturb her Mama's beauty sleep. She adjusted blanket over Nandini and gently kissed Nandini's hurt finger. Then she sneaked out of the room. She went to her room and washed her face then she brushed her teeth. She picked up smurfy who was busy in trying to chew her ball and came out of the room. She slowly came down stairs and saw Manik busy. Then Manik look at her and came towards her.

Manik was sitting in the lounge fully concentrated on his video conference. Laptop was placed in front of him on the table and he listening to the terms and conditions to the other delegates. Suddenly he saw Manvi coming down the stairs sleepily rubbing her eyes smurfy was in her hands. Manik excused himself for a while and came towards Manvi. He swiftly picked up Manvi her face was wet that means she had washed her face.

"Slept well?"Manik asked softly kissing her hair and wiping water droplets from her face. She sleepily nodded her rested her head on Manik's shoulder. Manik came back to his laptop and sat on the sofa. The people on the other side were waiting for Manik. Manvi snuggled in Manik's lap and again closed her eyes Smurfy also started dozing off Manik held Manvi close.

"So gentlemen where were we?"Manik said to them as they were busy in adoring Papa daughter bond. Meeting started again and Manvi quietly kept playing with Manik's bracelet and smurfy. She not for once tried to distract Manik maybe she realized that his work was very important. After pretty long 30 minutes Manik cracked the deal and after exchanging greetings Manik shut his laptop.

"Hmm..!! So Papa ki jaan tou bohat samjhdaar hai..!!"Manik said lovingly kissing her forehead. As he was very happy with his daughter's understanding as she didn't disturbed him during whole meeting. Manvi smiled and hugged Manik. Manik kissed her face madly silently praying for his love to keep smiling like this forever. Both were busy in talking when Maniik heard a voice which made his heart jump with joy.

"I am home..!!"Mr.Ronit Malhotra shouted happily standing in the main door. Manik run towards the door and Manvi confusingly followed him. Manik banged in Mr.Malhotra's chest and hugged him like a two year old boy.

Mr.Malhotra emotionally hugged him back. Manvi was standing a little confused hands on her waist.

"I missed you so much Dad..!!"Manik said breaking the hug.

"I missed you too..!!"Mr.Malhotra too said emotionally and kissed Manik's forehead. "Kitna bara ho gya hai tu..!!"Mr.Malhotra said in his all time famous dramatic emotional tone and Manik rolled his eyeballs in dismay."Mery Dad ka kuch nahi ho skta" he thought sadly.

"Dad..!! We met in London just a month ago..!! Aik month me koi kitna bara ho skta hai..!!"Manik said angrily.

"Aray pagal tjy kya pta..!! Jab tu baap bany ga na tab tjy pta chala ga..!!"Mr.Malhotra said dramatically and Manik sighed he pointed towards Manvi and suddenly reality hit Mr.Malhotra he smiled sheepishly mumbled a sorry and waved at Manvi.

"Baby..!! Come and meet your GrandPa..!!"Manik said affectionately. Hearing the word GrandPa Manvi run towards Mr.Malhotra and hopped in his arms.

"Gosh..!! She is so cute..!! Just like me..!!"Mr.Malhotra shouted excitedly kissing Manvi's cheeks.

"Dad..!! Thora aahista cheekhain..!! She is very sensitive..!!"Manik said in an ice cold tone and Mr.Malhotra gave Manik a deadly glare.

"Chup kar tu..!! Happy birthday doll..!!"Mr.Malhotra exclaimed. Manik became shocked and instantly look at Mr.Malhotra. Manvi who was about to say thank you suddenly realized that today was not her birthday.

"Birthday?"Manik and Manvi said in unison.

"Aray haan..!! Birthday ka matlab nahi pata? Nalaik bachay..!! Is ka matlab hota hai Janam Din..!!"Mr.Malhotra said wisely and Manik sighed. Then for the first time he noticed that Mr.Malhotra was wearing a birthday cap. "Aj meri granddaughter ki birthday party hai na..!!"Mr.Malhotra said happily and Manvi slapped her forehead. "What happened?" Mr.Malhotra asked Manvi.

"Aiyapaa..!! GrandPa..!! Today is my success palty(party)..!!Not Bilthday palty..!!(birthday party)"Manvi said shaking her head.

"Ooohhh..!! Par Manik tu ny tou bola tha kay party hai..!!"Mr.Malhotra blamed Manik.

"Dad..!! I told you that it was success party...!"Manik said softly.

"Acha..!! Phr ya topi..!!"Mr.Malhotra sadly took off the birthday cap. Manvi smiled and again adjusted the cap on Mr.Malhotra's head.

"You look handsome in this Cap GrandPa..!!"Manvi said smilingly and kissed Mr.Malhotra's cheek. Manik smiled and Mr.Malhotra became happy.

"Where is Nandini..!!"Mr.Malhotra asked.

"Wo she is sleeping..!!"Manik said smilingly and Mr.Malhotra nodded. Suddenly Manik saw servants,they had so many suitcases in their hands.

"Dad..!! So many luggage..!!"Manik asked as they seated in the lounge. Manvi was busy in catching Smurfy as she wanted to show him to her GrandPa finally she caught Smurfy and came towards Mr.Malhotra.

"Aray haan..!! Mera samaan tou thora sa he hai..!! Baki sab Manvi and Nandini kay liye gifts hain..!!"Mr.Malhotra said casually and Manik raised his eyebrows.

"GrandPa meet Smurfy..!!"Manvi introduced smurfy to Mr.Malhotra.

"Dad..!! Mery liye koi gift nai laye?"Manik asked with a little curiosity.

"Aray laya hoon na..!!"Mr.Malhotra exclaimed and made Manvi sit in his lap.

"Really..!! What?"Manik asked excitedly.

"Socks..!!"Mr.Malhotra said casually and Manik's jaw dropped open.

"Socks..??!! Seriously..!!"Manik almost freaked out. "Ap london say mery liye sirf socks laye hain..!!" Manvi too became felt a little bad that her Papa only got socks.

"GrandPa why socks?"Manvi asked.

"Aray Doll..!! You don't know your Papa I know him..!! The thing he need the most na are socks..!! Because he don't change socks daily..!!"Mr.Malhotra revealed Manik's top secret and Manik's eyes widened with shock. And Manvi laughed so loudly and Mr.Malhotra too joined him.

"Dad...!!! I was kid at that time..!! "Manik said annoyingly.

"Acha acha..!! Joking..!! Sab kay liye gifts hain..!!"Mr.Malhotra said smilingly.

"Granny kay liye bhi hai na?"Manvi asked innocently. Mr.Malhotra and Manik look at each other.

"Haan beta..!! Granny kay liye bhi..!!"Mr.Malhotra said softly and Manvi smiled widely. Meanwhile Butler came with Manvi's favorite noodles and Manvi offered Mr.Malhotra to join her which he readily accepted. Suddenly a silly idea came in Mr.Malhotra's mind.

"Doll..!! Let's eat with hands..!!"Mr.Malhotra exclaimed to Manvi and they both started eating noodles with hands. Manik glared at Mr.Malhotra angrily.

"Dad..!! For God sakes..!! Don't spoil my daughter's manners with your typical desi punjabi types things..!!"Manik roared angrily and thrust a spoon in Manvi's hand.

"Oye..!! Tu mera baap hai ya main tera..!!"Mr.Malhotra slapped Manik's head.

"Manvi hum hath say he khayen gay..!! You don't listen to your Papa..!! He is a bit mad Bachpan say..!!"Last line Mr.Malhotra whispered in Manvi's ear and she laughed loudly. Manik clearly heard what Mr.Malhotra said to Manvi he shook his head in frustration and got up from there to look for Nandini leaving the most naughty GrandPa and Granddaughter with their hand eating session alone.

Manvi and Mr.Malhotra giggled and kept eating with hands. Cleaning their hands with their clothes. Manvi had liked her GrandPa a lot as he was as naughty as she was.

"GrandPa..!! Ab ap ni jayen gay na..!!"Manvi asked innocently and Mr.Malhotra was taken aback for a second so much loving girl...!!

"Umm..!! Haan nahi jaoan ga..!!"Mr.Malhotra said smilingly and Manvi hugged him tightly.

"I love you GrandPa..!!"She exclaimed.

"GrandPa loves you too..!!"Mr.Malhotra whispered lovingly.

"Grandpa mely(mery) gifts? Mjy daikhny hain..!!"Manvi said excitedly rubbing her hands.

"Haan Haan..! Chalo..!"Mr.Malhotra said and they both sat on the lounge floor to unpack the luggage.

Chapter 14 B

Manik came in the bedroom and saw Nandini still sleeping. He sat beside her and checked her finger. Nandini moved in sleep and snuggled closer to Manik. Manik wrapped his arm around her and caressed her hair. She slowly opened her eyes and look at Manik who was looking at her.

"I love you..!!"Nandini whispered lovingly and pull him over her. Manik was surprised by her sudden act but he smiled. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I love you too..!! Aj bohat pyaar aa raha hai..!!"Manik sais naughtily nuzzling his face in her hair. She giggled and ruffled his hair.

"Wo tou rooz he ata hai..!!"Nandini said smilingly.

"Hyyy...!!"Manik said dramatically and leaned closer to her lips. "May I?" He whispered against her lips and in response she covered the very negligible distance between their lips. Manik kissed her madly biting her lips earning precious moans from her throat. He kissed her till her delicate pouty lips became swollen. Then he broke the kiss then rested his head in the space between her shoulder and neck. She run her fingers in his hair.

"You are my heaven Nandini..!!"Manik whispered in her ear nibbling her earlobe.

"And you are mine..!!"Nandini too whispered lovingly and kissed his hair. "Manvi kahan hai..!!"Nandini asked.

"Neechy hai..!! Dad kay pass..!!"Manik said casually snuggling more and more in her.

"Dad..!!"She shouted happily and Manik palmed his ears.

"God Nandini..!! Don't shout..!!"Manik said angrily.

"Manik..!! Hato mjy Dad say milna hai..!!"Nandini said and pushing Manik away she run in the bathroom to get fresh.

"Not fair Nandini..!!"Manik shouted angrily. "Dad kay aty he tum mjy bhool jati ho..!!"He said with a faking sadness meanwhile Nandini came out. She cupped Manik's one cheek and pecked his lips.

"Awww mery impatient monster..!! At night I will be yours..!! Nandini promise..!!"She said smilingly and giving lots of pecks she run outside. Manik smiled and followed her.

Nandini came down stairs and saw Manvi and Mr.Malhotra fighting.

"GrandPa..!! Ab meri bari..!! Ap kitne dare say chala rahy ho..!!"Manvi shouted angrily. Actually Mr.Malhotra had bought a remote control car for Manvi with lots of cartoon characters printed on it. But since they unpacked the toy Mr.Malhotra was himself playing with the Car just like a kid.

"Sorry baby..!! Wo I was so lost na tou pta ni chala..!!Lo..!!"Mr.Malhotra unwillingly gave the remote to Manvi and she angrily snatched the remote from Mr.Malhotra.

"Dad..!!"Nandini called him. Seeing Nandini Mr.Malhotra got up from the floor and Nandini almost run towards him and within seconds she hopped in his arms.

"Oh my darling daughter..!!"Mr.Malhotra hugged her tightly. Nandini started sobbing lightly.

"Dad..!! I missed you so much...!!"Nandini said between her sobs. While Manik was standing there hands in pockets. Mr.Malhotra's eyes to got moist. He broke the hug and pecked her forehead.

"I am so sorry for everything..!!"Mr.Malhotra said in a low voice.

"Please Dad..!! No..!!"Nandini said shaking her head and again hugged him. Manvi got up seeing her mama and grandpa emotional as she became a little worried she walked towards Manik and gestured him to pick her up. Manik smilingly picked her up and she hugged her Papa.

"Dad..!! Nandini..!! It's ok..!! Manvi preshan ho jye ge..!!"Manik said in a low voice as he was noticing Manvi's expressions. Mr.Malhotra and Nandini broke the hug. Mr.Malhotra took Manvi from Manik and kissed her hard on her cheeks.

"Thank you Nandini..!! Is choti si angel kay liye..!!"Mr.Malhotra said and all smiled. Suddenly Nandini noticed Manvi and Mr.Malhotra's clothes food stains..!!

"Dad..!! Ap logon kay kapry kaisy gandy huay?" Nandini asked worriedly. Mr.Malhotra and Manvi both bite their tongue at same time between their teeth.

"Main btata hoon..!!" Manik said sarcastically while Manvi and Mr.Malhotra look down. "Dad and Manvi nay aj noodles haath say khaye hain..!!"Manik told Nandini and Nandini glared at Manvi.

"GrandPa ka idea tha..!!"Manvi immediately blamed Mr.Malhotra to clear her point.

"Aray tou kya ho gya..!!"Mr.Malhotra tried to act brave and Nandini shook her head.

"Chalo..!! Tmhry Chacha Chachi aur Maushi aty he hoon gay..!! Let's get ready..!!"Nandini said laughingly and picked up Manvi in her arms.

"Mama..!! Smurfy ko bhi tyaar karna hai..!!"Manvi said pointing towards Smurfy.

"Usy bhi kar laina pehly tum khud tou tyaar ho jaoa..!! chalo..!!"Nandini said and went towards her room. Mr.Malhotra and Manik sat in lounge.

"Dad..!! Manvi has invited Nayonika today..!! She wants her stay with us..!!"Manik said worriedly.

"It's ok Manik..!! Aany do..!! Main sab daikh loon ga..!!"Mr.Malhotra said in a calm tone. After discussing a little about other things both got up to change. After changing clothes Manik came out of his room and went down stairs to wait for Manvi to come. Suddenly Manvi came out of her room with Nandini and Manik was stunned after seeing his adorable angel. Manvi was wearing red frock with matching shoes and her silky hair tied in a high ponytail. She run towards Manik and stood in front of him.

"Papa..!! Hows am looking?"She asked cutely twirling in front of him. Manik picked up his little angel and kissed her cheeks hardly.

"Bilkul princess..!!"Manik said lovingly.

"Sachi Papa..!!"Manvi asked as her eyes were twinkling.

"Muchi..!!"Manik said poked her nose. She happily clapped her hands. Nandini smiled at them and she herself went to her room to get ready. Meanwhile Mr.Malhotra came and saw Manvi.

"Wah g..!! Aj tou koi bohat pyara lag raha hai..!!"Mr.Malhotra said naughtily and Manvi hopped in his arms.

"Aul(aur) aj koi bohat handsome lag la (ra) hai..!!"Manvi very wisely returned the compliment to which Mr.Malhotra and Manik laughed.

"Acha GrandPa..!! Papa naughty thy?"Suddenly Manvi asked and Manik's eyes widened because he knew that his father will reveal all his secret. He silently prayed to Nandini's ayiappa to rescue him because he didn't wanted to spoil his image in front of his daughter.

"Aray aisa waisa naughty..!! Ufff..!! Naak main dum kar kay rkha tha is ny..!!"Mr.Malhotra started and Manik palmed his face. Mr.Malhotra was about to say something more when suddenly a voice distracted them.

"Kidar hai chacho ki jaan..!!"It was Cabir followed by Mukti.

"Aur Maushi ki princess..!!"Mukti too shouted and Manvi excitedly run towards the door. Cabir and Mukti were standing there with lots of gifts in their hands. Manvi hugged both of them and they showered her with lots of kisses. Then they came inside and hugged Manik.

"Uncle..!!"Both shouted happily when they saw Mr.Malhotra and at once hugged him.

"How are you kids..!!"Mr.Malhotra said excitedly.

"We are fine..!! Ap kab aye..!!"Mukti asked still hugging him tightly.

"Thori dare pehly he..!!"Mr.Malhotra said softly. Mr.Malhotra was fab4's favorite uncle. He was so affectionate to all of them. As Mukti, Cabir and Dhruv had no father while Alya was an orphan so Mr.Malhotra was just like father for all. Whenever they went to London for concerts they always enjoyed Mr.Malhotra's hospitality. They all seated and gave Manvi her gifts. Meanwhile Nandini too came and she was looking breathtakingly beautiful in red saree which Manik specially bought for her on their shopping in Pune. Manik was just staring at her madly without blinking eyes. Nandini hugged Mukti and Cabir. Then she sat beside Manik. All were busy in opening the gifts when Manik whispered in Nadini's ear which send shivers down her spine.

"I will make you forget yourself tonight Mrs.Malhotra..!! Only I know how I am controlling myself..!!"

Nandini look at Manik but he innocently turned his face. She run towards the kitchen to hide her blush. She checked all the arrangements and decorated the chocolate cake which she had specially baked for Manvi. She was designing the cake when suddenly Manik came.

"Mery sath chalo..!!"Manik said smilingly and held her hand.

"Mani..!! Mery pass romance ka time ni hai..!! I promised you for tonight na..!! Abhi ni..!!"Nandini whispered angrily.

"Oh God..!! Ms.one track mind..!! Mjy tmy kuch aur dikhana hai..!!"Manik said naughtily and Nandini became embarrassed. "Ab chalain..!!"Manik said lovingly and put his hands on her eyes.

"Mani..! Why are you closing my eyes..!!"Nandini said softly.

"Shhh..!! Surprise..!"Manik said excitedly.

Chapter 14 C

He lead her to main hall. He slowly made her open her eyes and the sight in front of her was enough to choke her throat with emotions. Chacha Chachi and Rishab...!!

"Nandu..!!"Chachi called her and she hugged Chachi tightly. Then Chacha and at the end Rishab.

"Tjy pta hai Nandu..!! Main Manik say bohat narz the q kay hum janty he nahi thy kay tu kahan hai..!! Phr jaisy he Manik ny mjy btya kay tu wapas aa gai hai..!! Hum tou foran bhagy aye..!!"Chachi said with tears in eyes.

"Di..!! Ap theek ho na?"Risahb asked politely cupping her cheeks and she nodded. Meanwhile Manik came with Manvi in his arms. Manvi smiled at all of them.

"Chachi..!! Ya Manvi hai..! Meri aur Nandini ki beti..!!"Manik introduced Manvi to them.

"Myny pehchan liya tha..!! Bilkul mery Sharukh pay gai hai..!!"Chachi said touching Manvi's cheeks.

"Namasty Nani..!! Namasty Nana..!! Hi Mamo..!!"Manvi greeted them and all three just kissed her madly.

"Di..!! Ya kitne pyari hai..!!"Rishab exclaimed and kissed Manvi's cheeks. All smiled at Rishab's compliment. Then Dhruv and Alya too came with lots of gifts for Manvi. After all the greeting session. Manvi caught Smurfy who was trying to hide under the couch.

"Excuse me..!!"Manvi said to get everyone's attention all look at Manvi. "Meet my new fliend(friend)..! Smurfy..!!"Manvi introduced smurfy and all said hello to Smurfy. Meanwhile Nandini came with the cake and all got up to cut the success cake.

"Chalo Mano..!! Cut the cake..!!"Nandini said lovingly and gave Manvi knife. But Manvi placed the knife back.

"What happened baby..!!"Manik asked surprisingly.

"Papa..!! Granny ni aye abhi..!! Abhi family complete ni hue..!!"Manvi said softly and all became sad. Pure heart don't know anything. For the first time MaNan were afraid of their daughter's unconditional love. Suddenly Nayonika came and Manvi's eyes lit up. She jumped off Manik's lap and went towards Nayonika. All were almost shocked after seeing Nayonika. She was wearing a plane saree,dark circles were visible from her eyes and her face was devoid of any makeup. Nayonika kneeled in front of Manvi and Manvi hugged Nayonika. Tears welled up in Nayonika's eyes but she shoved them away.

"Main kab say ap ka wait kal(kar) lahi(rahi) the Granny..!!"Manvi said lovingly. Then she held Nayonika's hand and lead her towards everyone. No one greeted Nayonika. Manvi made her stand near Mr.Malhotra and she herself walked towards MaNan. Manik again picked up Manvi.

"Now..!! Family is complete..!!"Manvi shouted happily and everyone was sad."Mama ab cake cut kalty hain..!!"Manvi said. Then Manvi along with MaNan cut the cake and all shouted for them. After feeding each other cake Mr.Malhotra came near Manvi and mashed lots of chocolate on Manvi's face. Manvi who was so engrossed in eating her cake gave a glare to Mr.Malhotra and Mr.Malhotra showed him his tongue. Manvi too took some chocolate from the plate and run behind Mr.Malhotra. Then everyone saw a Tom and Jerry show. Everyone was enjoying the show except Manik. He was worried for his daughters manners. Suddenly Mr.Malhotra tried to hide himself behind Manik.

"GrandPa..!! Bahar niklain..!!"Manvi shouted and she was about to run behind Mr.Malhotra when Manik held Manvi's waist. "Papa..!! Leave me..!! I want my revenge..!!"She shouted while Mr.Malhotra showed Manvi his tongue.

"Ooo Papa ki jangli billi..!! Bus chuck this fight..!!"Manik said smilingly and wiped Manvi's hands,face with tissue papers.

"Haar gai Manvi..!! Hahaha..!!"Mr.Malhotra again teased Manvi all laughed and Manvi's anger rose to seventh sky and she hide her face in Manik's blazer which clearly indicated that Manvi was hell angry. Manik gave a deadly glared to Mr.Malhotra and he scratched his head he didn't knew that Manvi will get so much angry. He came towards Manvi and tapped her shoulder. She shoved his hand away.

"GrandPa say gussa?"Mr.Malhotra said sadly.

"Bohat gusa..!!"Manvi shouted her face was still in Manik's blazer. Manik made her face Mr.Malhotra.

"Sorry..!!"Mr.Malhotra said and held his ears. Manvi look at her Papa as if asking whether she forgive him or not. Manik nodded his head that she should forgive him.

"It's ok..!!"She said smilingly and Mr.Malhotra too smiled.

"Waisy jeeta main he..!!"Mr.Malhotra was back on that point.

"Papa..!!"Manvi complained to Manik helplessly.

"Dad..!! Please..!!"Manik said angrily.

"Ok ok..!! Abhi paka sorry..!!"Mr.Malhotra became serious. Everyone laughing on this. When Nandini came and said that dinner was ready. All sat walked towards dinner table. Dhrulya sat together, MukBir sat together. Chacha Chachi and Rishab sat together.Mr.Malhotra too sat and Nyonika was about to sit away from Mr.Malhotra when Manvi called her.

"Granny..!! Ap GrandPa sath bethoo na..!!"She said innocently and Nayonika look at Mr.Malhotra he nodded his head because he didn't wanted Manvi to feel anything. Nayonika quietly sat with Mr.Malhotra. While MaNan sat together. Manvi as usual in Manik's lap. As Nandini's right hand's finger was cut so she tried to eat with left hand but spoon fell of her hand. Manik look at Nandini. She was struggling with her food.

"Come..!! Let me help you..!!"Manik said lovingly and all smiled. Manvi who was planning to eat by Manik's hand when she saw her Papa going to help he Mama in eating she thought wisely and jumped off Manik's lap.

"Baby dinner ni karna?"Manik asked.

"Kalna(karna) hai..!! But aj Mama Papa ky hath say ni..!! GrandPa and Granny ka hath say..!!"She said smilingly and hopped in Nayonika's lap. All smiled and Manik started feeding Nandini. All others were chatting with each other. While Mr and Mrs Malhotra were busy in feeding their granddaughter. Nayonika was so much enjoying that feeding session. Manvi was being fed by both turn by turn. She was telling them about she rescued smurfy "apni jaan pay khail kar".

"Ap ko pta hai Granny, GrandPa..!! Mely(mery) sab fliends(friends) kay glanpalents(grandparents) thy..!! Main na bohat jealous hoti the..!! But ab mely(mery) pass bhi ap dono ho..!! Ap log ab hmly(hmry) sath laho(raho) gay na?"Manvi told them innocently and then asked her most favorite question.

"Of course..!! Ab hum apni doll kay sath rahen gay..!!"Mr.Malhotra said and Manvi smiled satisfied with his answer. While Nayonika gulped the last morsel with great difficulty. After a good family dinner all again sat in lounge for a coffee.

"Ronit..!! Can we talk..!!"Nayonika said in a low voice to Mr.Malhotra. He nodded his head and both came out in the garden to talk.

"Whatever I did I know sorry is not enough for that..!!"Nayonika said sadly.

"I am glad that you know..!!"Mr.Malhotra. "I will divorce you soon..!!" And tears welled up in Nayonika's eyes.

"Ronit..!! Please...!! I don't want any divorce...!!"Nayonika pleaded.

"Then what do you want Nayonika?"Mr.Malhotra said angrily.
