Here's my two cents-
why he is always pushed to crossroad situation where he has to decide on the priority whether it is Nandini or his friends.
He was a charmer, a happy-go-lucky chap, with a glib tongue and ready wit. He is the sweetest and caring one, his family like friend's angel.
Their's was the love that belongs in storybooks, with saccharine sweetness and rosy dawns and peaceful sunsets and happily-ever-afters or so he thought.
Manik Malhothra is a wreck today, because of a ruthless snake called Alya ( whatever her last name and i pefer grrr today ). He's ruined her life as Boyfriend, true, but even worse, he's ruined her life as a friend too.
Manik is not a boy who can cope with acquisition of this magnitude from his family like friends;
He's admitted it and spelt it out to her very clearly, they are breaking the Boyfriend - Girlfriend anymore and are only friends like relationship which will take on form from now on for FAB 5 sake.
Their(dhruv n Alya) killing words to him just goes to show what sort of a lowlife they are. They left him submerged in sorrow, despondent, lonely, humiliated, in short, unable to breathe, both figuratively and literally. Those beautiful dreams that shone in his eyes have been shattered, piercing his soul and making him cry tears of blood.
Redemption? For Alya and Dhruv? To me, that is just impossible. After playing with a family like friend and deceiving him like this, no one can expect to be forgiven. Even if they suffer and repent, even if they go through hell's tortures, nothing will ever make up for their wickedness of breaking his pure heart now and then. I just can't believe that they think that Manik is the reason for all their problems.
Manik will forgive them, but still, this will always remain an insurmountable barrier within FAB 5 anymore.
The episode today was heartbreaking - and it has shown us what is in store for us. The next couple of weeks are going to be a roller-coaster ride of heartbreak, betrayal, disillusionment, pain, angst and tears. Hope Manik will survive the ride
and emerge stronger because of it. Manik, on the other hand, needs to move on from any cross road situation. ( hehehe not Parth , Manik)
