I am trying hard to concentrate , totally tripping on PaNi drug but lets start the show. 😛
First the sideys.
I want to comment on an observation- Navya and Cabir's contrast. Good. i am kinda impressed with how they are handling. Not that I am too invested but I see how they have started bringing out the flaws in their perfect arrangement and some reality. Navya is one of the character they have worked the most and it shows . Just less jumpy. Veebha is doing a decent job otherwise.
Dhruv- That was Uttu self-service. Actually him as a sidey singer in some seedy bar is sort of apt. Go-Go boy . Nice.
Harshad-Mukti- Who?
Arya- Jotwani doesn't make it easy for me. he needs to FO . Sigh. Even when he tries to be logical the delivery messes up. Bad with transitions. He made Abhishek look good.
My fondness for Abhishek is growing.
MaNan
How do i even talk about them? I am in a very happy, content space with them. They are beautiful and there is this "at home" feel now. It's like their thing and I are friends now.
That first scene-
Nandu's defiance that she will hug her man because she wants, not caring for anything. She is tired. Funnily, the good girl will worry about Nyo still. The contradictions make them special.
Aww- I loved , loved how Manik picked his doll and wow , such sync ,much wow. Loved the whole feet thing. Don't know about others but it was adorable . He will always take her battles when she wears out.
The conversation
I love the bean-bag thing, how Manik makes her sit there. She is his world, his everything. I find these cute endearing actions pretty domesticated . They are so flawless together.
I loved how Nandu pulls his vest - SEXY. More please. Sexual tension was off charts there. Tear it off next time.
Adored how she wanted to talk and he wants to PLAY. if not the X with his ex-spot , X-box will do for him,
That conversation is where this love story aces.
It's kinda like she is asking him to take that free fall of trust too. trust blindly in her. She might make mistake, she might be wrong but she wants to do it. Why, we will hear it future. But she practically told him that she wants to tackle it in her own way and he RESPECTED THAT. Thank the lord, it's not about the eminent danger, but this guy actually gave space to his girl to work it out. Please lets appreciate it . He is going against his grain ,much like her, in all this for her . But what elevated it for me was how he shared his fear- he doesn't want to lose her, he just cannot afford it. He sees the threat but he is letting her fight it out.
This makes them beautiful. Space, no control and no unhealthy tone.
Oh also , I liked how Nandu went ,"I must be special" , because you cannot afford to lose me. Sigh, both suffer from this insecurity, she might be his star but his love boost her beyond.
BDSM
I loved the bedroom voices- reward talk. Oh man these two have that intimacy down to the T. I liked how Nandu tricked him and told him to ,"think out of the box".
Song worked for me, big time. I like the intent, I will take it as a shout-out to this AT, thank you.
But seriously, I loved how he tied her hands by talking of trust. Even liked the way he was feeling her up with the fingers.. the shift from racy to baby😆. Well, he is a Man-Child , she is his Child-Woman. Both bring out the childhood in each other too- so I get the intent, writers gave that nod and went all sanskaars which is fine for me. I appreciate the attempt .
That thermocol stuffing was funny weird. But I loved the barbs and retorts- she chiding him , he teasing her about punch.
Whatever it was, them playing with thermocol so freely made me happy. More of PaNi there actually. Kids had fun .
Lamp survives .
I loved how this time Manik was running away and totally having fun.
I need to see how he gets her arms around him and thats when the real BDSM undertones will play out.
