Chapter 3 A

Manik started singing.

(Manik started singing)

(Manik sang with intensity closing his eyes and Nandini felt her breath stuck in her throat)

(Manik sang and the beautiful moments he spent with Nandini flashed in his mind)

Kyun bewajah di yeh saza
Kyun khwaab de ke woh le gayaa
Jiyein jo hum lage sitam
Azaab aise woh de gayaa (Azaab: pain)

(Manik sang as if realy asking Nandini why she left him..!!"Kya kasoor tha mera Nandini..!! Q..!! Q choor kar chali gai tum mjhy..!! Myny tou hemsha tmhy pyaar kiya..!! Agr mjhy un andheroon me wapas he phainkna tha tou nikala he q..!! Kya itna bura tha main..!!" Manik thought and Nandini was crying badly)

(Manik again sang closing his eyes as tears rolled down his cheeks)

Dhoondta tha ek pal me dil jise ye sau dafaa
Hai subah naraz us bin roothi shaame din khafa

(Manik sang as he remembered how his every second was difficult without Nandini..!!)

Woh aayein na, le jaayein na
Haan uski yaadein jo yahaan

(Manik sang painfully hurting his fingers with guitar strings blood was oozing of his fingers which Nandini saw clearly she felt her heart bleeding)

Na raasta, na kuchh pataa
Main usko dhoondhunga ab kahaan

(Manik sang...! "Kahan ho tum Nandini..!! Aik baar wapas aa jaoa..!! I swear I won't let you go..!!" Manik again thought. "I am sorry Manik..!!" Nandini's mind shouted)

(Manik sang as now his eyes were blood red due to crying)

(Manik ended the song and Nandini was feeling dizzy due to guilt. Her heart was aching.)

During the song Nandini didn't noticed Manvi. As the song ended Nandini look here and there for Manvi she wasn't there. Nandini's heartbeat stopped.

"Mano..!!" She shouted. She was standing far behind the crowd.

Manvi crawled between the legs of people to reach her friend. She wanted to meet him. She heard him ending the song.

"I am toming(coming) friend..!!" She exclaimed excitedly. At last she came in front of the crowd. Her friend was so close to her. She was about to step on the stage when a security guard stopped her.

"Where are you going girl..!!" He asked in a harsh voice.

"I want to meet my friend..!!" Manvi told him cutely.

"There is no friend of yours..!! Get down..!!" He said scolding her and Manvi resisted.

"Leave me..!! Friend...!!" Manvi shouted meanwhile guard pull her down but to Manvi's bad luck she fell down badly.

"Friend...!!" She again shrieked in pain as her knee was hurt badly it was bleeding now.

Manik was wiping his hand with tissue papers. When he heard a very familiar voice. Voiceless shriek. He look at the direction of the voice he felt his heart will stop beating. Manvi was lying on the floor with blood oozing from her knee she was crying badly.

"Manvi..!!" He shouted worriedly unintentionally in the mic. He immediately throw the mic and guitar on the stage and rushed towards Manvi. He carefully picked her up in his arms and patted her head. She was crying out loudly.

"Shhh mera bacha..!! I got you..!! Bus na meri jaan..!!" Manik was trying his best to console the little one but she was in so much pain.

"Papa..!!" Manvi called him sobbing hard and Manik felt everything froze for him. Heart stopped beating..!! Clocks stopped ticking..!! Wind stopped blowing..!! Time was froze for few seconds..!! The feeling was so much different...!! He felt himself complete..!!

"Papa is here Manvi..!! Shhh..!! Stop crying..!!" Manik whispered in her ear both were unknown of the feelings. Everyone was seeing them in a shock. Specially fab4 were too much shocked. Manik kept patting Manvi's back moreover he cleaned the blood from her knee blowing air. She was sobbing hiding her face in his blazer.

"What are you doing here sweetheart?" Now Manik was asking her as she had stopped crying.

"Main ap shay milny i the..!!"Manvi told him sniffing her nose and Manik wiped her nose with tissue and embraced her in his strong arms and closed his eyes.

"Mano..!!" Suddenly he heard a girl's shout and again his heart stopped beating. The voice was familiar..!! Four years..!! The voice was as melodious as it was four years back..!! He wanted to open his eyes to clear the doubt but he felt like his eyelids became heavy. What if he opened his eyes and she wasn't real..!! What if he was hallucinating? What if he was in a dream?

"Mama..!!" Suddenly Manvi exclaimed and Manik was again froze on his place he opened his eyes. Oh yes she was HER..!! She was the same..!! But she was more weak and pale now..!! She was wearing a traditional suit..!! She was different..!! Now she was coming towards them..!! She was crying badly...!! She pulled Manvi from his embrace and started kissing her face madly.

"Mano..!! Mama ki jaan..!!" She said and Manik felt unreal.

Chapter 3 B

Nandini heard Manik shouting Manvi's name worriedly she became horrified and run towards the stage. She pushed the crowd away and at last she reached there she saw Manvi's knee hurt. She shouted her name and rushed to get her from Manik's arms. At that time she was not Manik's Nandini..! She was not Manik's wife..!! She was not Manik's lover..!! At that time she was just Manvi's mother..!! Just a mother whose child was hurt..!! Who was in pain..!! She kissed her face madly.

"Mano..!! Mama ki jaan..!! Ap kahan chaly gye thy?" Nandini asked taking her in a tight hug.

"I am fine Mama..!! Friend took good care of me..!!" Manvi said cutely and for the first time Nandini noticed Manik staring at her without blinking his eyes.

"Nandini..!!" Manik merely whispered he was still in shock. Tears again brimmed in Nandini's eyes she was culprit..!! Manik's "mujrim"..!!

"Friend meet my Mama..!!" Manvi was cutely introducing both unaware of the fact that they both know each other very well.

"Nandini..!! Manvi is my daughter?" Manik asked still in a whisper he was finding it difficult to even say a word. Hearing the question Nandini lowered her eyes..!!She had no answer for it..!! What would she tell Manik? That yes she Manvi was his daughter..!! That Nandini hide Manvi's birth from Manik..!! And if she would tell him that he would ask the reason then what would she tell him? Why she did all that?

Seeing Nandini's head low was a valid answer for Manik's question.

"Why?" Manik asked painfully and again Nandini didn't had any answer for it. Meanwhile fab4 came towards them. Nandini backed off with Manvi in her arms. She turned and started running. Fab4 tried to run behind her but Manik stopped all of them.

"Manik..!! Rook Nandini ko..!!" Fab4 shouted in unison.

"Let her go..!!" Manik whispered.

The crowd was seeing all this in a shock and Cabir announced the dismissal of concert. Tears were rolling down Manik's cheeks but who cares.

Kabhi gardishon ka maara
Kabhi khwahishon se haara

(Manik sat down on the ground and cried his heart out..!!)

("Manik I love you..!!" Nandini's voice echoed)

Roothe chaand ka hai chakor
Zara se bhi samjhote se
Yeh parhez rakhta hai kyun
Maane na kabhi koi zor

("Why Nandini..!! Why you did this..!!" He shouted)

Duniya jahaan ki bandishon ki
Yeh kahaan parwaah kare
Jab kheenche teri dor
Kheenche teri dor...
(Manik cried and cried no one dared to stop him..!! He was remembering Manvi's words.)

("I don't feel ticklish..!!" "My mama has the same bracelet..!!")

Manchala.. mann chala teri ore

Khamoshiyon ki sooraton mein
Dhoondhe tera shor

(Manik got up from the floor and started running aimlessly on the roads it was raining too much heavily. He run towards the park where he met Manvi first he was all drenched.)

Rookhi-sookhi dil ki hai zameen
Jaane kahaan gum hui nami

(Nandini was sitting in the taxi with Manvi in her lap. She was continuously crying.)

("I am sorry Manik..!" She whispered)

Meri ummeed hai teri baarishein
Ye sahe kayi baar pyaar ke
Tujhe har baar haar ke
Seekhe phir bhi kabhi nahi saazishein
(Nandini reached home Manvi was fast asleep now. She tucked Manvi in the bed and came out she also fell on the floor and cried her heart out)

Ho.. tere liye aaj khud se hi bhaage hain
Himmat ke tukde bator
Ho bhaage zamaane se
Chhup ke dabe paanv jaise koi chor
Jaise koi chor...
(Manik run here and there around the park as he was sure Nandini must be living nearby. He asked few people and one of them told him about the location)

Manchala.. mann chala teri ore

(Manik run and run towards Nandini's house. His fingers were again bleeding. But he need answers...!! He reached Nandini's house..!! HE could clearly heard the sobs of his lady love..!! HE knocked the door..!)

Chapter 3 C

Nandini heard the door knock she lifelessly got up from the floor and opened the door. Manik was standing in front of her now. She wasn't shocked to see him because she knew he would surely come. Because he want "Answers". He was all drenched. His fingers were bleeding.

"Manik..!! Your hand it's bleeding..!!" She said panicking and held his hand. He didn't uttered a word but gently freed his hand from her grip. Both were looking at each other painfully.

"Don't fake this care Nandini..!!"Manik said coldly and tears rolled down Nandini's cheeks she shook her head in a no.

"Manik I care for you...!!" She said sadly and again tried to held his hand.

"Lier..!!" Manik said painfully and pull away his hand again. "You don't care for me..!! Kiun kay gar tum meri care karti na..!! Tou mjhy akela choor kar na jati..!!" Manik had so much pain in his voice he also started crying.

"Manik..! I..!!" Nandini tried to say something but Manik didn't let her complete.

"You don't love me na? Nandini..!!" Manik asked looking in her eyes.

"Manik aisa nahi hai..!! I am sorry..!1" Nandini said painfully.

"Sorry? You think one sorry is enough?..!! Agar aisa nahi hai then why did you left me Nandini..!!" Manik asked and started moving forward and Nandini moved backward.

"Manik I..!!" Nandini fumbled.

"No more lies Nandini..!! I want to hear the truth..!! Manvi is my daughter hai na?" Manik asked and pinned Nandini with the wall. Nandini shivered on feeling his touch after four long years. The touch for which she was craving.

"Manik I can't tell you..!!" Nandini confessed helplessly.

"Shhh..!!"Manik placed his finger on her lips she again shivered on feeling his touch on her pouty lips. She closed her eyes. Soon she felt Manik's finger replaced by his lips. As soon as their lips touched don't know from where did the verge of loving each other came again between them. Manik kissed her madly to which Nandini replied with equal favor. Manik's hands slipped behind Nandini back and he unzipped her dress. Since how long he wanted to love Nandini like this. He didn't knew where all those "gilay and shikway" flew away which he thought about her. He just wanted to feel her close to him. He just wanted to claim her as his again. He trust her that she was of only his because still his mere touch make her breath uneven...!! Although she wasn't with him for four years but he still know that he was her owner..!! Manik broke the kiss when he felt Nandini breathless. He started biting her neck and shoulders. He slipped her dress more down and started kissing her madly again. Nandini had her eyes closed she was just letting him do what he want to. She knew how much he love her.

"I missed you so much Nandini..!!" Manik whispered in her ear and a tear from his eye fell on Nandini's bare shoulder.

"I missed you too Manik..!!" Nandini too whispered in his ears lovingly and wiped his tears. Manik smiled on hearing this confession. He started unbuttoned his shirt but suddenly Nandini realized their position. Moreover Manvi was there too. They were not alone at home. She stopped Manik from unbuttoning his shirt.

"What? Don't you want me to love you?" Manik whispered painfully.

"Manik it's not like that..!! Don't forget Manvi is there too..!!" Nandini whispered and Manik too realized he backed off. Nandini quickly adjusted her dress while Manik look away.

"Manik your fingers are bleeding..!! Come i will give you dressing...!!" Nandini said holding his hand and made him sit on the sofa. She brought a first aid box and she herself sat on the floor in front of him. Seeing his wounds tears welled up in her eyes. Manik was just staring at her.

"Why do you hurt yourself..!!" Nandini asked crying badly.

"Why did you left me..!!" Manik was again back on the same question.

"You have lost too much weight Manik..!!" Nandini said tearfully ignoring his question again.

"Why you wrote that letter..!!" Manik was not giving up so easily.

"Manvi loves you so much..!!" Nandini again ignored his question.

"Why you hide Manvi's birth from me..!!" Again another question which was needed to be answered.

"Manvi is totally your copy Manik..!!" Again ignorance meanwhile Nandini was done with dressing.

"Shut up Nandini..!!" Manik's patience crossed it's limits. "Answer my bloody questions..!!" Manik again shouted and Nandini shuddered on her place. Manik was about to say something else when Manvi's voice forced him to stop.

"Friend..!!"She exclaimed and hopped in Manik's arms. Manik picked her up and kissed her cheeks.

"So my bacha is up?" He asked composing himself to which she cutely nodded and Nandini too wiped her tears.

"Friend..!! Mama why were you guys fighting?" Manvi asked cutely and Nandini run into kitchen to avoid Manvi's questions. "Nandini aur mery beech sab theek hai Manvi ko yahi pretend karna chaye or else she will feel hurt..!!" Manik thought to himself.

"No baby we were not fighting..!!" Manik told her and he sat on the sofa again.

"Friend you are my papa hai na?" Manvi asked Manik in a serious tone and Manik's eyes widened with shock.

"How do you know?" That's all he could managed to say.

Phew...!! At last MaNan meet..!! It was a very very emotional chapter I myself cried while writing it..!! Too much mixed feelings right? And yeah how does Manvi know that Manik is her father? Hmmm wanna know na? Of course you do tou do comment and hit the like button..!! Thank you so much for all the lovely comments on previous chapter it means alot..!!
