I'm sure I've missed many of the discussions on this...but just wanted to get my bit in too 😛
Firstly...what's all this continuous rant about this is a youth show and not a saas bahu saga???...Why because Nandini is not telling Manik the truth...because she is trying to handle this situation by herself...because you think she is being one of those mahaan bahu's who take on the world alone??...Come on...that's silly nai?? I mean can all of you put your hand on your heart and say you have never ever hidden anything from someone so close to you???...no matter how big or small that matter is...be it you partner...your parents...your best friend?? uss waqt trust yaad nahin aata?? We all have hidden...maybe lied or told a white lie somewhere down the line...and we all have our reasons for doing it...some because they don't want to hurt the other person...some because they want to protect them...some because they a shit scared their going to be in trouble...or whatever...we'll come up with 101 reasons for it.
In my eyes Nandini is not acting stupid...she is not acting dumb...she is not using her innocence or naivety here. She has solid and good enough reasons to keep this from Manik at this point of time.
I really liked her yesterday...she became all defensive because we all know she was hiding the real reason about Aryamann. As to why the hell is she not telling Manik or anyone else for that matter...well...if you think about it the only people she can really tell is Manik or Cabir...as those two are probably the only ones who can actually do something...Alya...Mukti...Dhruv are damn useless...there is no point telling them...Navya...well even she can't actually do anything, but be an emotional support for Nandini...and she ain't got time to be emotional. As for Cabir...well...she doesn't once again want to be the reason for him not being able to win this chance to cut an album...so thinks she may spoil it for him...if because of her, he gets in to a tussle with Aryamann. Although I do wish she tells him...somewhere down the line...not necessarily right now. I think he will be more of a support for her than Navya.
Now for not telling Manik. Firstly...there is no breaking of trust here or any question of her not trusting Manik...ya vice versa...that has nothing to do with it Secondly...the whole reason for not confiding in Manik is because for one...he is not in any fit state to take on Aryamann...she is concerned about his well being...and two...she knows what Manik is like...he acts impulsively and irrationally when pissed off or in anger...so in both cases right now he will only be harming himself. Nandini's first priority is Manik...to protect him...to keep him healthy and to keep him safe. Nothing matters to her more than Manik being unharmed and alive. The main reason I believe she has taken Aryamann in her group for is because that way she can keep him close...she hasn't just blindly trusted on him with regards to that giving her a chance to prove Manik's innocence...she knows he wont just sit still...and then finding that ketchup sachet at the hospital...just proved it to her too. The other thing is..I actually believe she doesn't take Aryamann as a bad person...she knows he is just grieving and angry at Soha's death...deep down he is not a bad person and so she wants to get the truth to him before he can do some serious harm...and the way to stop him is to keep him busy with her and Navya and be around with him. There is no way she will hide this whole truth from Manik forever...she knows it will come out no matter what...so maybe she is just buying time. Even with her not telling Manik...it was very clear that Manik knows she is hiding something...he knows her inside out...he can see right through her lies because she is not good at telling them...he can see from her behaviour...her getting all defensive...being argumentative...not looking him in the eyes...and so also knows that if she is doing this then there has to be a big enough reason for it. Manik is smart...and a very sharp...he works people out easily...and here it is his Nandu...so even without her saying anything she has given away she is hiding something from him...and he's Manik...he will get to the truth any way. The only thing I think Nandini should do is maybe just say to Manik that please just trust me on this for now...basically let him know that yes she is hiding something and she will tell him when the time is right...but right now just leave her to it...and with that Manik can go about his own way to get to the truth. The other thing...which I have mentioned before in my previous posts is that I kinda think Aryamann and Nandini will get to the truth together...and Aryamann will change sides...I actually wanted Nandini and Aryamann to get to the truth together too...I didn't want Manik to be a part of that. However...maybe Manik will find out about Aryamann being Soha's brother at the same time as ArNi finding out the real truth behind Soha's fake death. This may create a conflict between MaNan and off course between Manik and Aryamann...and Nandini will try and defend Aryamann here...only because he's not bad...he had his reasons.. So...yes Manik will be upset and angry at Nandini...but I don't think there is going to be any separation over this. I feel through all of this Nandini and Aryamann will become good friends...which will be good...it's about time Nandini has someone like Aryamann as a friend who will be what Cabir is to Manik. So...for me...I'm loving this track so far 😊 plus I like to keep positive and think good will come out of all of this 😃

She is partly being true to her character and partly stepping out of it only to protect Manik...she herself doesn't like doing this...but will do whatever it takes to keep Manik and her together. I feel this will be bringing out Nandini's side of not taking people at face value...being wary of what is happening around her...make her stronger in handling these situations, which normally Manik would...maybe even putting what she has seen Manik do into practice herself...if that makes sense 😛 Lets see what we get!!
