the seven days seemed to pass very quickly. nandini was snuggling close to manik and watching the white clouds passing through the window. manik was working on his ipad
mu=bhai [ sitting beside his seat] i hope ghar pe sab theek ha, i mean mom ne ese achanak call kiya aur kaha ke ten days khatam honese pehle hi wapas ajaw. i didnt get it
m=mukti, kuch immergency hoga, warna mom ese nahi kehti.

m=i asked dad, he seemed to be normal, lets see whats the immergency
they reached mumbai at night and so alya cabir and druv went to their home and MaNan along with mukti reached malhotra mansion. raj and nyonika were waiting for them eagerly. seeing their children happy and healthy back they were glad that the trip was actually a good idea. while having dinner they began the talk
m=mom, what was the immergency?? i mean apne ese call kiya aur kaha ke wapas ajaw

n=nahi mom esa kuch nahi ha its just that we were worried ke apne ese sudden bulaya and dad ne bhi kuch nahi bataya

hearing the word "karwachauth" nandini blushed and a sweet glow appeared on her face. manik too smirked hearing the word

ny=yes and mane isliye tum logoko wapas bulaya ha kyuki this year its nandini's first karwachauth after marrige and i wanted ke woh is day ko dilse enjoy kare
manik and nandini looked at eachother and gave a smile
ny=and kalse gharme bohot kam honge, u no nach gaana, mehendi, designers are gonna come with sarees and lehenga's. nandu, beta dilse is din ko enjoy karna, i know ke yeh mushkil hota ha sara din bhuka rehna and all that but trust me jab chand ko dekkar apne husband ke hath se pani peete ha hum, thats the most sweetest and biggest thing of our life
nyonika's each and every word touched nandini's heart. she was more than ready to do this for her, for her Manik. manik knew what was going on nandini's mind, she was nervous, excited and also blushing.

after dinner manik was in the study with his dad and nandini was in her room sitting infront of the mirror. nyonika came in the room and knocked on the door
n=mom, ayiye nah, apko knock karneki kya zarurat ha
ny=manik kaha ha?
n=mom woh dad ke sath study me ha, should i call him??
ny=nahi ma tumse milne ayi thi... yeh lo
she handed her a square box. it contained two white diamond bangles

ny=pata ha yeh tumhare dad ne mujhe humare first anniversary me dia tha.. ekdin manik ne inhe mere hath me dekha aur kehne laga , mom i love these bangles of yours. main usse humesha tease karti thi uski shadi ko lekar aur woh muu phulakar beth jata tha. ekdin kehne laga , ke mom apko meri shadi ko lekar itna sapna ha??? i said ke ha kyuki jab meri bahu ayegi main usse yeh bangles pehnaungi , manik ne kaha ke nahi yeh mere hath mehi acha lagta ha. then i said ke yeh bangles will always be with her so that beta tumhe meri kami kabhi nahi mehsoos ho. yeh humesha mera ashirwad banke tum donoke sath rahega. and he just hugged me and said okk... so thats why these are just for u. inhe wasehi sambhalkar rakhna nandu jaise you have taken care of my son.
nyonikas words touched nandini. she caressed the bangles and nodded in a yes. nyonika caressed her cheeks and left the room. after sometime manik came to the room and saw nandini was sitting infront of the mirror and looking at herself. he locked the door and walked upto her. both looked at eachother silently through the mirror

hearing that he has to leave for one day that too before karwachauth nandini stood up with a jerk.

he made her sit on the bed and sat infront of her holding her hands
m=london janese pehle i had left some work incomplete and usiko pura karnekeliye mujhe jana ha dubai. dad ne abhi bataya, he too cant go as he has his clients from tokyo here.
n=but manik main?? mera pehla karwachauth ha i wanted to break my fast by drinking water from ur hands aur tum
m=jaan, listen to me, i'll be back by then. chand nikalnese pehle tumhara chand tumhare samne hoga. tum jab apni akhen khologi chand ko dekhnekeliye tum mujhe apne samne paogi. and tum janti ho i dont break my promise. bharosa ha na mujhpar???

m=tum bataw, agar zaruri nahi hota toa kya ma tumhe chorkar jata?? even i wanna be with u jaan as much as u want, jab tum dress choose karogi, mehendi lagwaogi, khudko sajaogi i want badly to be with u but um sorry jaan, itni der se dad ke sath alternate solution dhund raha tha but they are not ready to compromise a single more day. agar kal nahi jaunga then they will pressurize to go day after tomorrow and karwachauth ke din main kahi nahi jana chahta. i promise i'll be back

manik got up and sat beside her. he pulled her in an embrace and she hopped in and hugged him tightly
m=jaan, i cant leave if u are sad like this. tumhe pata ha na, ur my lucky charm. tumhari smile meri strength ha aur agar tum ese udass rahogi then main kaise ja paunga?? and the early i go i'll come back even earlier.
she broke the hug. her eyes were red which always torn him apart

n=manik, i'll miss you. jab main tumhare nam ka sindoor lagaungi tab, jab tumhare lie khudko sajaungi tab, jab main apne lie dress select karungi aur sochungi ke tum mujhe dekhoge isme tab i'll miss you, jab hathome mehendi lagaungi tab, har lamha i'll miss u badly manik.
he couldnt stand it anymore and pulled her closer to himself for a lovable kiss. she closed her eyes and responded equally. slowly they lied down on the bed not breaking the kiss and manik taking the lead kissed her eyes and drank away her tears, kissed her cheeks and forehead. she knew he too didnt want to leave but he had to

she ssusshed him by capturing his lips with her and swapping their places. she kissed his cheeks and pecked on his chin. his hands went to her back and began to caress giving him shiver all over the body. he switched their places and came over her keeping in mind not to put all his weight over her. he caressed all her face nibbling and nuzzling in her neck and shoulder dropping marks of his love. it seemed that there was no end for them, no end of their love and the night continued with the sweet sounds of their laugh, her moans and calling out his name and his increasing desires for her each and every time. it was dawn when they finished it. nandini was fast asleep in his arms hugging him tight and he was admiring her kissing her fingers and their entwined hands. he knew she would be very much sad but he also knew she had trust on him
nandini opened her eyes and found herself alone on the bed. she sat on the bed with a jerk thinking manik might have left without meeting her but there was he standing infront of the mirror wearing her favourite black shirt and fixing his hair. he was all set to leave. nandini jumped off the bed and ran towards manik , hugged him tightly from back. manik at first was a bit taken aback as he didnt notice her waking up from sleep.
m=jaan kya hua??
he wanted to turn around but she wont move a single bit or let him move

she slowly let him move and he turned around pulling closer. her eyes were wet and she was clutching his shirts collar, like a baby does
n=mujhe laga ke tum mujhse mile bina hi chale gaye
he smiled at her innocence and kissed her forehead.

she made a cute pout and he couldnt resist himself from pecking her pout.
n=manik..i'll miss u alot
m=and u have no idea how much im gonna miss u in these 24 hours, but jaan u no na, unless its important tumhara manik tumhe ese chorkar nahi jata??agar gharme functions nahi hote toa tumhe sath lekar jata. tum udas mat ho, dekhna yeh 24 hours bohot jald guzar jayenge
n=nahi, yeh 24 hours humari zindagi ke sabse longest hours honge
he knew it was difficult to convince her so instead of convincing he pulled her into a hug and she also hugged him back
m=jaan, get freshen up. hum sath breakfast karenge and then i have to catch the flight.
n=whats the time?? [she asked breaking the hug]
m=its 7.30 morning
n=tum itni subhah ready hogay??
m=haa, flight 11 baje ha na, chalo go and freshen up like a good girl
nandini nodded and went inside the washroom.
mu=bhai.. andar ajau??
m=haa come in
mu=bhai, dad ne bola ha agar ap ready hojaw then come downstairs for breakfast
m=mukti, nandini ka khayal rakhna and yes try to keep her busy with shoppings, dance and all the stuff u can, usse zyada der akela rehne mat dena.
mu=dont worry bhai, main alya mom milke nandini ka khayal rakhenge.. ap bas kal shamse pehle laut ke ajana

manik and nandini came downstairs for breakfast holding their hands. through out the breakfast time nandini was quiet and was passing just fake smiles to everyones talk. manik knew she would outburst after sometime when he would be leaving as her eyes were already filling up with tears. she excused herself from the table and went upstairs.
raj=manik, beta tumhara luggage load hochuka ha, chalo we need to go
m=dad, ek minute, i'll bring my coat
raj=theek ha, um outside jaldi ana
manik went upstairs to the bedroom and saw her standing in the balcony. hearing his footsteps she wiped her tears and tried to run from there but he holded her hand and brought her close to him
m=mujhe best of luck wish nahi karogi???
nandini was avoiding her gaze from him, looking down and letting her tears fall
n=best of luck.
she said in a low heavy voice. manik lifted her face from her chin and made her look into his eyes
m=ese nahi, i want my special best of luck.
she nodded in no making angry expression and freed herself from his grip. she was going inside the washroom when
m=jaan um leaving now. .. janese pehle ekbar hug nahi karogi???
the next minute manik found her hugging him tightly and sobbing hard. he too felt to cry but couldnt let his tears flow down infront of her. he rubbed her back slowly and kissed her hair.
n=i love you manik...
manik broke the hug and cupped her face... he gently wiped the tears from her cheeks and put his lips on hers for a passionate kiss which she responded with equal favor. her hands moved to his shirts buttons from his neck but manik holded her back from unbuttoning them.
m=jaan not now..please. tumhe pata ha na, its difficult for me to control and
n=and u cant stay back
m=ese mat bolo, ur my strong baccha na, please... mere liye.
he never said to her like "mere lie" something. for the first time he was asking her
m=mere lie nandini, dont let these tears roll down, u no i cant stand ur tears. jaan um all yours and i'll be back before you realize i had gone, trust me. mere lie , dont cry
she nodded wiping her tears and again put her lips on his standing on her toes. manik holded her by waist and pulled up a bit to support her. finally after a lot of kiss, hug and "i love you" manik left for dubai. though nandini was feeling to cry, keeping in mind that her tears hurt him she didnt wish to hurt him rather than started to count the minutes and seconds for his come back.
