Kyy is an outstanding show in everything. In case of blopper also. There are five states in SouthIndia.Mangalore is part of Karnataka and its language is kannaa. To greet someone they use Namaskaara .But amms told Vanakkaam.Cvs should give a look towards it this greeting is used by Tamilian.I think cvs are assuming that south Indian means anybody can talk any type south Indian language. Please cvs give a look towards it and put real Mangaore in front of us.We can become much more aware of actual south Indian culture.

How can cvs be so ignorant and stupid??? Cant they do a little reasearch before showing all these...
They are from manglore which is in karnataka
Amms and chacha speaks tamil in b/w which is the language of tamil nadu
Nadu always says aiyyapa, which is mostly said by malayalis from kerala... This one is still acceptable coz people from all states visit sabarimala... But girls are not allowed into tye temple after they get their periods... They can only enter after they get menopause... So very less women pray to aiyapp...
States in south of india is also part of the country and it wont harm them if they have a little gk abt states down south

Thank you for mentioning this 😊 I am from Karnataka too and these guys have messed up on some accounts. Ayyappa also is not a God commonly worshipped here. Its in Kerala. And in Karnataka esp places like Mangalore or Bangalore we don't speak with a heavy accent. Infact our hindi is more or less neutral. Murthy is a typical Karnatic surname but the culture showed in the serial is more or less Keralite. Mangloreans speak tulu, which is their native tongue actually but kannada is common too.

Well said 👏 Ayyappa is not a God commonly worshipped here and even though we visit Shabrimalai we dont worship the God in our homes. But one thing I would like to add is that people from various states have settled down in Karnataka esp Bangalore and in some parts of Mangalore too. I see many tamilians, andhrites, keralites and north indians too. Infact if u consider Bangalore less than 45% of them are native kannadigas, rest is a mixture of ppl from diff places. But since they have shown Mangalore as Nandini's roots and also her surname is a typical Karnatik surname they shouldn't have messed up like this. Infact in Mangalore its Lord Krishna who is worshipped not Ayyappa.

I guess the problem lies in the fact that besides Tamil Nadu and Kerala no other state is given importance in North India which is really sad. We can easily differentiate between Punjabis, Haryanvis, Bengalis, Marathis n Kashmiri's. But when it comes to South India ppl only relate to tamilians or keralites. But every state has its own native culture and ppl should acknowledge that rather than confusing every south indian to be a tamilian.

Well it is not only KYY but pretty common in most shows that has South Indian trait to it. that is the misconception that all South Indian are the same in most of the shows and Bollywood too.
Cv's needs to do a bit more research in future. I can see more traits of Kerala & Tamilnadu rather than Mangalore.

Even the way Nandini addressed her chacha & chachi during the initial days made me wonder what language it is. Sounds more like Tamil for me but not sure...

TY..
Indeed CVs have messed it. Mangalore ppl speak TULU basically and Kannada as well. Tamil is Tamilnadu state language which is hundreds of miles apart. Mangalore is in Karnataka. But they are so careless that couldn't even bother doing little bit of research. GK is anyways weak..

Even after Bangalore became so famous for IT, they fail to recognise the difference in states and culture... 🥱
