Nandini pulled into her driveway after a long day at the Research Center. She collected her belongings, locked her Mercedes and walked to the main door of their lavish 2 story bungalow. She smiled when she saw his sedan parked, on her way. As she made her way to the bedroom, she half expected the door to jerk open and him pulling her inside to kiss her. It was their routine, Manik would yank her in, and they'd kiss, those long, wet 10 minute embraces. But nothing of that sort happened. Manik was on tour, him being a rock star and he wouldn't be back for 3 more days. Manik had asked her to come along with him but she had been stubborn and fought with him that she had to complete her research paper and so she couldn't go. And now she missed Manik so much, she cursed her luck and went to sleep. On the second day since Manik's absence, she only had the conclusion of the paper left. She was sitting on the bed, with books spread all over it. It was becoming too much, she wanted to see him so bad. She was suddenly angry at herself and got all cranky. Then someone knocked on her door, she said "What is it?" quite rudely thinking it was her maid servant, she was usually sweet to her but you know, the crankiness. And the person outside the door said "Oh looks like someone's not in a good mood". There was no mistaking the voice, she jumped out of her bed, pulled the door open and attacked him. They kissed violently and Manik's hands were wild. He eyed the bed, saw it full of books and decided on the couch. He lifted her up, and laid her on the sofa as she ripped open his shirt and he started unbuttoning hers. Shirts and pants bounced off the side tables and both bodies entwined deep under the cushions. The sofa rocked and squeaked on the hardwood floor, but it was used to it all.

I am not a writer at all. IF is making me do crazy stuff. I see everyone here writing such amazing stuff, I somehow wanted to get that feel :D
And the romance here is inspired from two novels actually, they are thrillers but the minimal romance they contained, I could only imagine MaNan. This is my take on the romance I read, not entirely the same but similar definitely. Like I mentioned, I am no writer so it doesn't come naturally to me. :| Hope you all like it :D
