The moorthy's would have a couple of dead guests on their hands...🤣!! Coz they might have thought they were hosting a dinner (forcibly), in reality it was WAR!! An all out, in the open, bitter, acrimonious, all hands down...WAR!!
And what fun is war when both the opponents are forces to be reckoned with!! Both strong, stubborn, wilful, powerful warriors!!
So Manik Malhotra starts with his siege, Halla Bol ishtyle!! And Nandini, knowing him, was totally expecting him to tapkofy from the sky!! 😃 Rishabh...was bored out of his mind...listening to the world famouswa Panditwa...bajofyig his pungi!! We hear you Rishu...the man is intolerable (and that is an understatement)!! He so resented his sister closing his escape route...damn!! But the sissy here had more important things to take care...one tall, extremely yummy six footer, hell bent on creating trouble...that smile...that mischievous grin...so the devil does ring the bell when he knocks at the door!! 😉 And Nandini...as delicious as he looked ..could only think of Pizza...aah...!! So out she drags the delivery boy...trying to prevent the tsunami from hitting the poor Moorthy residence!! I could have told her it was all in vain...but a 17 year old girl in love, that too with a guy like Manik Malhotra...sigh ...no chance!!😆
Off they go...she racing nineteen to a dozen...what was he doing there...he never listens...and yes he and us, all have heard this spool a million times before...and looking at how she is and he is...we will have to hear this for a life time!! He retorts...if he would have listened to all her nos...and heeded all her shy excuses and nervous reasons...they would have been nowhere even after six years, forget six months...and sorry Nandu, but me thinks the guy is absolutely right!! If not for one extremely besharam an aggressive Monster..there would be no love story to fill reams with, no couple to drool or dream on!! So, you better give him full credit as he claims 😃! You might declare that his angry looks were a barrier...err...we know how his tantrums turn you on...😉!!
What's cooking..he goes...Chachi...she quips..😆..was so hoping he shuts her smart mouth off...!!
He demands the truth...and he gets a Nandini...trying to be seductive and romantic...and distracting...gayi bhains paani mein!! 🤣 Madame...he knows you more than you do...so skip the histrionics!! #Epically Hilarious!! I haven't seen your face since the morning...so...Romantic...huh???!! Of course you know her enough to know all this does not come naturally to your madame..you actually have to sweat it out before she agrees to even first base...your choice...bhugto!! 😃 He puts an end...he knows!! How is not the point Nandini, neither is the relationship that AMs shared with Pandit...its all about a teacher's intentions towards an innocent student...and how right is Manik!!
Chachi🤗...she knows!! Yup...and approves and loves the duo!! So ManChi (Manik + Chachi) are rolling ..again!! He won't miss her cooking for the world...and she won't let her hone waala damaad go without a hearty, lovingly cooked meal and some TLC!! In they go on their honeymoon...Chachi's dig at a reluctant Nandu...want me to send your food here??? I lub lub her 😆!! Not to mention her vishesh tippani...the food is simple coz of outsiders...if I knew you were coming...one stroke of genius and she firmly puts all in their place...
And so we have one more at the table...but he is family!! From Chachi, to Rishu to even Moorthyji...all treat him like one..and how loving, how heart warming is their natural acceptance!! ❤️...he is one of them, for someone whose own mother never bothered acknowledging his existence, such an overwhelming feeling it must be!! They are his family now...the mother hen Chachi that ensures that his Nandu sits by his side only...the loving brother that shares his food without a thought, with him..that one scene between the two spoke volumes about the trust and respect they share..the eccentric yet caring Chacha that reminds him that its not only about the roti but also about the sabzi...sigh...feels so good to finally see someone so starved for affection, find a loving family!!
Pandit...being a mute and fuming spectator to this all...🤣!! Jalo...aur Jalo...Jal Jal ke khaakh ho jaao!! I could see the smoke coming out of his ears...yay!! And then starts the lethal volley ...you know Pandit..if you had some sense of self preservation you would not have dared eye Manik's girl...but your suicidal tendencies are lethal...if not...why try n make Manik look bad in their eyes by saying you threw him out of the class...well you started it and he ended it...you got what you deserved...🥳!! And he wasn't lying when he said you couldn't handle him..or his talent...both being more than a handful for you!! Still you persist, at your own risk ...when you try n make him feel like a gate crasher...and Manik promptly shows him the mirror..again!! Teacher...self inviting at a student's place...how inappropriate??? Rare indeed...and thankfully so!! Pandit..it seems is a sadist...who enjoys being insulted repeatedly by Manik's caustic tongue and razor edged taunts. Not to mention his sarcasm dipped jibes...!! He knows you are abusing him, seething and boiling on the inside...but just so you know...he did not bite his tongue...a certain tiny girl was trying to get fresh with him...😆..err was trying her best to control her giant and failing...cutely!!
Pandit...thick skinned that he is...wants Nandini's attention and Daal. And Manik being the ever courteous and considerate human that he is...obliged!! Why trouble the girl when he was eager to serve...death warmed over!! Off goes the dal...more than the Pandit ever desired...well you were asking for it...he gave it...in bowlfuls😛!! Pandit, red in the face and yellow in patches...beats a hasty retreat...while the totally unremorseful Manik...glares!!😆
I have to...have to say this...or am gonna die!! He was superb...so missed the snarky, rude, boorish, arrogant, harsh and sarcastic Monster...finally saw a glimpse of the incorrigible brat that we all loved to hate in the golden days!! Man...what a jerk he was...and it felt like a million bucks to see him back in action!! No one does negative like Parth...no one!! Arrogance and aggression personified!!
The bloody battle...err...meant dinner finally over...they moved the skirmish to another front!! Really Pandit?? You never learn...do you?? The taunt about Manik's riches, not earned or deserved..it hurt..and went right home!! Well...if Manik can give it...he can take it too!! And whats the fun in warring if your opponent does not give you a wound or two...well said Pandit!! But neither us, nor Manik had to defend...the support came from unexpected source...plenty believe in him!! His family has faith in his abilities, trust in his talent...and all Manik could say was...Thank You..for everything!!
And we have our darling Nandu...trying to manofy her ukhda hua piya!! Keys...the keys to his heart...to his soul that she has...she was talking about them. Her attempts at pacifying him..so adorable!! She was missing her romantic man...the one who always was on the look out for some private moments...aww...we miss him too Nandu!! Hated how the Pandit observed and noted with satisfaction their small tiff. Pandit ji...its a lover's tiff...its sweet in inception and sweeter in completion...chhodo a creepo like you will never get it!!
The final farewell...awesome!! Now that's called a crescendo...a climax!! Where two equals meet...all pretense gone, heckles raised...gauntlets thrown...challenges given and accepted...promises made and will be kept!! Noteworthy...Manik can see the ugliness behind the mask...but Pandit is smug that Nandini cannot!! Loved Maniks' response...its her innocence, her faith her, her trust in a teacher that makes her so gullible!! Nandini, or for that matter, no student, deserves a teacher like him...how right Manik!! Such a sick abuse of a relationship!! Pandit's cool stoic confidence...so creepy!! He does know how to fight...down and dirty...does Manik deserve a girl like Nandini then?? And one more shot that went home...wounded Manik to the core...Pandit is shrewd, observant and manipulative enough to ascertain individual weaknesses and take advantage ..be it Nandini's trust or Manik's feeling of inadequacy when it comes to her!! How astute and diabolical to aim where it hurts the most!! Manik, knows how to take it...no worries...he just wants the pycho to stay away ..from them...but Pandit has other plans. So, Manik promises hell to pay, a well deserved retribution, an expose that will rip the mask of civility and decency from a cunning man!! And we can't wait...loved the DIshank Parth chemistry...two good actors..and they take it to a different level altogether...the tension, the taut body language, the simmering hostilities...the barely contained violence...superb!!
The war is on...and we know which side we are on...its not about possessiveness or protectiveness or MaNan alone...its also about right and wrong...about bad people, worse intentions and worst consequences!! Tomorrow, the beginning of Pandit's end...

thanks...you always make me feel good...but today its all their doing!! What fantastic screenplay, dialogues, performances...awesome!! Manik had me falling off my chair...Pandit...I oscillated between feeling bad for him...and hating him...and our Nandu...she was on a different planet altogether...weaving her fantasies with her man...and the rest of the characters were all so funny and endearing..all playing their parts to perfection...such a memorable episode!!
