CHAPTER-10
-MUSIC ROOM-
Manik was playing his guitar in anger.Just then Nandini entered the room and got worried after seeing Manik like that. She worriedly said.
Nandini: Maniiik??
He didn't reply. She again said.
Nandini: Maniiik??
This time too Manik didn't say a word. And Nandini felt really pissed this time. So, she thought of talking to Manik for the last time.
Nandini: Manik. Listen, agar tumhe baat nahi karni hai to mat karo. Main ja rahi hun.
With this she started to leave.
Just then Manik stood up held Nandini's hand and pinned her to the wall. Nandini got really scared and asked Manik innocently.
Nandini: Tum ye kya kar rahe ho Manik??
Just then Manik placed his finger on Nandini's lips and asked angrily:
Manik: Ssshhh... Tum kya kar rahi thi uske sath??
Nandini worriedly: Kiske sath??
This time Manik lost his patience and held Nandini from her waist tightly and pulled her towards him with jerk and asked her in anger.
Manik: Don't act so smart. Main Karan ki baat kar raha hun.
Hearing this, Nandini got relly angry and pushed Manik with all her strenghth. And shouted.
Nandini: Oh shut up Manik. Tumhara matlab kya hai? Tum kehna kya chahte ho?? Wo Abhi ka friend hai. Aur hum sab bas lunch kar rahe the sath me. That's it. Aur waise bhi main kisi ke sath bhi rahun, ussey tumhe kya?
Manik got really pissed off after hearing this and kicked a chair in anger and said to Nandini.
Manik: Ok fine then. Tumhe jo karna hai wo karo. But ye yaad rakhna ke sab innocent nahi hain iss duniya me. Wo ladkiyon ko sirf use karta hai. So, aage agar koi problem ho toh ye mat kehna ki maine tumhe pehle warn nahi kiya tha.
With this , Manik left the room leaving Nandini all crying.
Manik went and sat on the staircase in tensed mood.Then after a few minutes, Nandini crossed the staircase wiping her tears and without noticing Manik, she left for her home.
Manik noticed all this and felt guilty.
Just then Fab5 came and took Manik with them.
After few minutes of walking, They all left for their respective homes.
-NANDINI'S HOME-
Nandini in a sad tone asked her Aiyappa.
Nandini: Aiyappa, Manik ne aaj mere sath aise kyu baat ki? Kya sach me Karan galat karne wala hai mere sath? Par Why Manik cares so much about this?? Maine usse kitna rudely baat kiya? Should I say sorry to him?
-MALHOTRA MANSION-
Manik was lying on his bed while thinking about the whole day spent with Nandini.
He asked himself: Aaj kal mujhe kya ho gaya hai? Main uske bare me itna kyu soch raha hun??
Suddenly Nandini's tears flashed on his eyes and he asked himself:
Kya mujhe usse baat karni chahiye??
Just then Manik picked up his phone and called her with some hesitation.
Nandini's phone rang. She was in no mood to talk to anyone so, she went to cut the call but after seeing Manik's name. She picked up the call.
Nandini hesitantly: Hello.
Manik : Hi.
For few minutes, both were speechless. But breaking the silence Manik spoke up.
Manik: Ab tak jagi huyi ho.
Nandini: Han, Tum bhi toh jage ho. Mujhe tumse ek baat puchni thi. May I?
Manik: Yeah sure.
Nandini: Aaj college me tumne jo kuch bhi kaha, Did you really mean it?
Manik: Haan, Main use bahaut pehle se janta hun. Wo hamesha girls ko cheat karta hai. And it would be better for you that you stay away from him.
Nandini: Ok good night. Main sone ja rhai hun.
Manik: Hellooou?? Helllooou???? Listen.
She cut the call leaving Manik worried.
