The First One - Where it all began...
We are nearing to 200 episodes, which might or might not be the conclusion of this Amazing, Brilliant, Adorable, and Heart Touching Show... which brought so so many magical moments in to our Homes...
I wanted to go back and watch where it all started, the First episode, to recap where everything began, the characters we came to adore, love and care for so passionately, how they entered in to the Show and through it into our Lives.
The First thing I noticed was the show begins in Nandhini's world in Mangalore, rich in scenery , heritage and culture, we get the Homey feel which we never could get in the Big Big Mansions of Mumbai...
Its early Morning and all the students woke up early and came to learn dance and music from Kishori murthy ... the famous Amamma aka Ams of Nandhini...
We saw a Cute si , Naughty si Nandhini in all her Chulbuli Glory smuggling her Friend from the Class so that she can reunite with her Love.
One interesting thing here is there is a reasonable Height difference between the Couple that Nandhini reunited, and the way they Hug it so much reminded me the way Manik and Nandhini Hug...
The little Chulbuli innocent Girl got so Happy seeing her Friends make up and Hug it out ...
Little did she know that at this very moment there was a Hulky Boy somewhere in Mumbai who would one day hold her in his arms with all the Tender Love and Care in the World and even more...
And then her beloved Fireflies came out to mark and celebrate the True love of her friends... She is beside herself with Joy, her lovely smile does not leave her face for one moment...
If she was so happy that her glowing fireflies came to celebrate her friend's Love, how much happier she would be when one day they would come to mark and celebrate her Love... Her True Love...
She starts gathering the fireflies in her famous firefly jar... the Fireflies don't even need to be caught by her... they come over to her as if they already knew that they belonged to her and she would always take care of them and love them.
She never knew that the same fireflies will be stubborn and make that special someone in her life work his ass off in order to gather them in to the firefly jar... for her... they would act as her guardians and test his patience and his passion for her and his Love , before allowing him to gift them to her...
Then she sees the Shooting Star in the sky and we see a different facet of Nandhini... Anger, fear and hurt...
Similar kind of thing had one day taken her family away from the little Girl, taken her mom and dad away when she needed them the most... It evoked her fear of losing her loved ones, anger for taking away her family for her and hurt remembering the pain she gone through at that time...
For the first time we see the Famous Nandhini Temper... the temper that very few can handle and calm down... Most prominently her Soul Mate that she hadn't yet met... her Manik
She absolutely hates stars that was established here... Oh but the poor thing didn't know that she herself will become the STAR of someone's life...
She didn't know at that time that she would set aside her hate and anger for them and become a STAR herself to shine away the darkness in the life of one particular lost Boy... who would look up to her to.. be there for him, shine for him and Guide him when there is nothing but Darkness and Loneliness in his Life...
She never knew that her tiny delicate self would one day become the Protector of Giant of a Man... her Monster...
The scene shifts to Mumbai as the Shooting Star is shown to take us from Nandhini's world to the world of a certain Manik
Here was a boy sitting with his Girl Friend and looking at the Shooting Star with awe, he gets excited seeing it, his GF asks him to make a wish, which he refuses stating that all that he ever wanted was already given to him , his Buddy' his Best friend Dhruv...
He had yet to know that the most crucial Person in his life was yet to enter his Life, who would turn his world upside down, for whom his Love and Devotion would be absolute , who would bring in Happiness , Love and Hope in his Life... If he had known then he would have wished for her to come to him then and there...
He gets the call that his Best Buddy was having attacks, he rushes to calm him down. Dhruv was his Buddy, Brother, Confidant, his one constant of his life and his anchor. He couldn't even imagine that one day the very Buddy will hate him and hold him responsible for everything wrong in his life.
One day he wouldn't even want to see his face, let alone talk to him. Oh! How his Heart would have broken into thousand pieces if he knew then.
We come back to Mangalore where there is Pooja on the Death Anniversary of Nandhini's parents.
We see the pictures of Nandhini's Mom and Dad, we see where Nandhini gets her good looks and beautiful smile from... her Mom... How beautiful she looks in the Pic and not to mention her dad, who looks so handsome. Oh!! How adorable this family would have looked if the cursed accident would not have happened.
There is this conversation between Ams and Nandhini where Ams gives her her Father's pen and asks her to take care as she and Rishab are going to Mumbai...
The Lovely relationship and the Heart to Heart conversation between the Granddaughter and Grandma touches our Heart... It shows how Nandhini was bought up with tender love and care, she was the princess of her home and the people around her, and they all loved her and were proud of her.
We see the adorable convo of Chacha and Chachi... they add to the already evident atmosphere of Happy family in Mangalore...
When Ams gifts her Father's pen to Nandhini, little did she know that one day she would bear Torture of the worst kind to save that Pen and would finally Sucker Punch the Prince of SPACE himself... who would one day become her Prince Charming...
Oh!! If she knew then she would have never understood how she could ever fall in Love head over heals with a person whom she had punched in Anger and disgust...
How her fate would bring in a complete 360 degrees turn around in her Life, where the person she would hate most one day, would later become the man of her Dreams, her True Love.
They show in the airport one more quality of her, loyalty, commitment and stubbornness... How she could never part with her precious fireflies no matter what the consequences... A Trait one day which will make the prince of SPACE fall Head over Heals in Love with her... her virtue of never giving up when it comes to the things or people she loves.
And in the bus we have a cute convo of Chacha and Chachi establishing such a Sweet people that they are, who Love Nandhu and her brother like their own children...
Not to mention we see a flashback of nandhu's family and the meteor shower that killed her Parents, oh how adorable the family was just before the cruel fate teared it down...
And then there is a big Bang!!!! Drum Roll!!! The fab 5 jeep bangs into the Mangalore bus.
The paths of the Two Eternal Soulmates had crossed now, fate had brought them to finally meet each other.
We see the Elite Band fab 5 full of Attitude, an air of Royalty around each of them.
Nandhini stands at the entrance of the Bus to see what the commotion was about, she has her fireflies jar in her hands... She tries to see the faces of the Fab 5 through the crowd of passengers but could only make out the Fab 5 logo on each one of their shirts.
Though she couldn't make out their faces, she sees two Girls, one dressed like a Tomboy and another as a Fashionista, a Boy in a Hoodie and one another with Headphones around his neck and drumsticks in his hands... And finally she sees the tallest one, the one who has an air of authority around him, like he was their Leader.
She finally turns around to get in the Bus, but as fate would have it, the Guitar of the band leader accidentally pushes her and the Fireflies jar slips from her fingers.
For one moment her Heart's stopped in panic that her precious Fireflies jar would break , but fate had different plans... The Tall Stranger rescues the Jar in the nick of the moment and hands it over to her, even without looking at her, an act of pure Selflessness.
She rejoices now that her Firefly jar is out of danger and hastens to take it from the stranger.
Their Hands touch, come into contact and the Magic happens, the Fireflies glow marking that these two had found their True Love, their Soulmates and the Love of their Lives.
The Stranger moves on once the jar is secured in Nandhini's hands and joins his Friends... the Fab Five...
Nandhini is left to see in amazement what just happened, her fireflies had glowed for her and the stranger... who was he...? She never got a chance to say even thanks to him. Will she ever meet him again?
If her Mom's theory was correct, had she just met the Love of her Life, her Prince Charming and yet she didn't even get to see his face...!!
She keeps looking at the glowing fireflies and the Stranger walking away with his Friends... Immersed in his own world and she smiles...
She does not even have an idea that he is the very person who will be the reason for all her smiles for the rest of her Life... Who would melt at one smile of hers and get the world for her... the one who will Treasure , cherish and protect her smiles... Her True Love, her Soulmate, her Prince Charming ...!!!
Oh!!! What a Beginning it is to one of the most amazing, magical and incredible journeys ahead for them and for us...!!!
