CHAPTER 6

NEXT MORNING

IN THE CLASSROOM

Nandini reached the classroom early and the class was empty so she started studying. She sat on the last bench and opened her textbook for studying. After some time someone started throwing paper balls at her and when she looked up she found Manik sitting on the adjacent bench with his devilish smirk. She made an angry face and said.

Nandini: Manikkk! Ye kya kar rahe ho?

Manik stood up and walked towards her: Aree I am your friend na. To I was just having fun with my my dear friend Nandu.

Nandini: But mai padhai kar rahi hu so don't disturb me. Go away na Manik.

Manik came closer and sat with Nandini and kept his hand around her shoulder and leaned closer to her. Nandini was shocked and her eyes widened. She tried to go away but Manik tightened his grip and pulled Nandini closer to him.

Manik: Nandu mujhe bhi sikhao na.

Nandini: Manik please don't disturb me and go away.

Manik: You wan't me to go away? I thought you were my friend( He started faking his sadness)

Nandini being innocent felt guilty: I am sorry Manik. I didn't mean that.

Manik: Bas sorry bol diya huh? I am hurt. You should apologise properly.

Saying this he turned towards her face and leaned his face towards her face. Nandini started moving backwards. She was about to fall but Manik hold her waist and brought her closer to him.Their faces were inches apart and they both could feel each other's hot breathes. Manik looked at her lips and moved closer to her lips. Nandini was lost in his eyes and she saw that he was looking at her lips. They both were brought out of the trance by the voice of bell. They both realised in which position they both were and straightened up. In a few minutes the class filled up and the class started. After a few classes it was music class.

Raghav sir: Good morning class.

Everyone in unison: Good morning sir.

Raghav sir: So students aaj kuch alag karte hai. I know you might be bored with the boring lectures. So let's have some fun today.

Navya: Par kya sir? Hum antakshari khelenge?

Everyone started laughing.

Raghav sir: No Navya. Not antakshari. But something like that. So guys I have these chits kept separately for boys and girls. I will pick out one from boys and one from girls and whoever's name is written will have to perform on any song. So let's get started. First is Cabir and Navya.

Navya gets scared and Cabir smirks and gets up and goes in front of everyone. Navya walks slowly towards him and stands with him. Raghav sir tells them to choose a song on their own. Navya and Cabir start fighting for the selection of song. Raghav sir gets angry and tells them to sit on their places.

Raghav sir: The next pair is Manik and Nandini.

Manik gets up and walks in front with full attitude and Nandini also walks towards Manik.

Nandini: So which song?

Manik: Do you really think that you can match with me?

Nandini: Yes I can. Let's see who is better.

Manik: Ohh. Confidence huh! Great!

Raghav sir: So have you decided the song?

Manik: Yes. It's Meethi boliyan.

Manik stands near the chair and keeps his one leg on the chair and starts playing his guitar.

Nandini starts singing.

Kuch lamhe thhe

(Manik kept staring at her and smiled)

Manik starts singing

(Manik stands and takes a round around Nandini while palying his guitar. Nandini keeps looking at Manik.)

(Ujla savera...)

(Manik starts singing while looking into Nandini's eyes and Nandini also looks into Manik's eyes)

(Nandini sings while looking into Manik's eyes)

After the song ends they both were looking into each other's eyes and were lost in them.

Manik's POV

Woww. Her voice is as beautiful as her face. She sings so well. I have never heard such a beautiful voice in my whole life.

Nandini's POV

His voice is mesmerizing. And the way he plays his guitar. OMG! He is too good. His voice is as mesmerizing as his face.

They both were brought out of the trance by the sound of claps. They straightened up and looked at the students and then at Raghav sir. Raghav sir had a big smile on his face.

Raghav sir: Woww. What a performance. Manik and Nandini you both were awesome.

Manik smirked and Nandini blushed a little and looked at Manik. Manik also looked at Nandini who was blushing and unknowingly a smile appeared on his face. They both went back to their seats. After the class everyone went back to their room.

Mukti and Aliya's room

Aliya was weeping silently but Mukti noticed this and went near her.

Mukti: Aliya are you okay?

Aliya: Ya I am fine.

Mukti: Aliya. Please tell me what's wrong with you?

Aliya: Mukti, Manik..He..He doesn't love me and nowadays I am seeing that Nandini is getting close to him.

Mukti: Aliya relax. Don't worry we will try to keep that girl away from Manik and tune dekha nai uss din Manik ne tujhse maafi bhi mangi. He cares for you and I am sure someday he will realise his love for you. Okay?

Aliya smiled: Hmm..

In Manik and Cabir's room

Cabir: Manik baba kya chal raha hai tere aur Nandini ke beech me?

Manik: What?

Cabir: Look kya de raha hai? Dekha maine music class me kaise dekh raha the ek doosre ko.

Manik: What? Aisa kuch nahi hai. I was just impressed with her voice.

Cabir: Ohhh. Okay. Tu bol raha hai to man leta hu.

Manik: Hmm.. Chal mai tujhe ratko milta hu. Bye!

Cabir: Manik beta tu to gaya. Mai janke hi rahunga kya chal raha hai.

Nandini is waiting for Manik in the music room. She looks at her watch and says," Firse late. Yeh ladka kab sudhrega!" She was sitting on the chair and she closed her eyes. At the same time Manik came threw his bag on the floor. The chain was open so all the things fell on the floor. Nandini opened her eyes and saw Manik near his guitar. Nandini was walking towards Manik when she saw many things on the floor. She gave an angry look to Manik and bent down to pick them up. She was putting all the things back. She picked up a silver bracelet and kept staring at it and she remembered something.

Flashback

"Nandu! Nandu!"someone screamed . She turned back and found 2 little boys standing with their luggage. She ran towards them and said," Mat jao na. We are bffs aur tum mujhe chodke ja rahe ho."

One of the boys said," Nandu, Humari jungle billi. Ro mat yaar. Tu bhi to aa rahi hai na kuch mahino me."

Nandini," Hmm.. Promise me you both will never forget me."

The other boy said," Angel mai tumhe kabhi sakta hu kya?

Nandini said," Hmm.."

They were about to leave when Nandini came in front of them and removed her bracelet and said to the tall boy," Yeh tum Humesha apne pas rakhna to tum mujhe kabhi nahi bhuloge."

End of flashback.

Nandini kept staring at the bracelet. Manik saw her and snatched the bracelet from her hand and kept it safely in his bag. Nandini got up with a total confused look. Manik stared at her in anger and said," Don't you dare touch my personal things." Nandini apologised and said that they should practice. Manik agreed with Nandini. Nandini was not able to focus and she kept recalling those moments and Manik noticed this.

Manik: Are you okay? You seem lost.

Nandini: Woh. Woh actually..Umm.. Nothing. Kal practice karte hai. I am tired.

Manik: Fine. But listen.

Nandini was lost in her thoughts so she didn't listen and ran away from there. Manik was shocked to see her like this. He said to himself," What is wrong with her?"

CHAPTER 24

NEXT MORNING

Navya woke up early around 6:30 am and got ready. She was scared as she had to be with Harshad alone for an hour. She got ready in her uniform and was about to leave her room when Nandini woke up and asked her where she was going so early. Navya said that she had to practice with Harshad so Nandini told her to take care. Nandini seemed to be very happy and Navya thought that their plan might have worked.

Navya: Nandini everything is fine now?

Nandini: What?

Navya: Between you and Manik?

Nandini smiled: Ya. Everything is perfect. (She blushed remembering about their romantic moments.)

Navya smiled: That is great. So see you later. Bye.

Nandini: Bye. Take care.

Navya left from there and went towards the music room gathering all her courage. She hated Harshad for doing so bad with Mukti and she had to practice with him and that too alone. It was like a nightmare for her. She went inside the music room and started practicing with him. They didn't talk much but the practice was going on quite well. But someone was constantly peeping inside through the glass. It was none other than Cabir. He said to himself," What is wrong with me? Why am I caring about Madhubala?" Saying this he was about to leave but then stopped himself. After some time, he heard some noises from inside so he peeped through the glass and saw Harshad manhandling Navya. Without wasting a single second he went inside.

Harshad rudely: You are so dumb Navya. Can't you understand such simple thing.

Navya: harshad leave me.

Cabir went near them and saw Harshad digging his nails into Navya's arms. He got angry and suddenly pushed Harshad away. And before he could do anything Cabir punched him on his nose and dragged Navya with him. Navya was shocked with this but at the same time felt happy that Cabir cared for her so much. They stopped after some time.

Navya: thank you Cabir!

Cabir smiled: You are welcome. But please stay away from him.

Navya: I can't. He is my project partner and I have to practice with him.

Cabir: Okay. Then take care of yourself. And kuch bhi problem ho to feel free to share it with me.

Navya smiled: Ya sure. I will see you later. Bye.

Cabir smiled: Bye.

Navya walked away and Cabir kept staring at her till she disappeared. Meanwhile, Dhruv messaged Manik to meet him in the music room. Manik guessed about what he wanted to talk and preparing himself for the talk he left from his room. They both reached there at the same time and sat on the chairs to talk.

Manik and Dhruv: Buddy.

Both smiled.

Manik and Dhruv: I need to talk.

Dhruv: You say first.

Manik: Ya Okay. Umm.. So I want to say that.. Umm... Wohh..

Dhruv: Manik we are buddies you can share anything with me.

Manik smiled: You are right Dhruv. Mai ghuma phira kar bat nahi karunga. Let's come straight to the point. I read your book and I am really sorry about that. But I got to know that you are falling for Nandini. You love her right?

Dhruv: I don't know about love. Yes I accept that I like her. Maybe because she is the first girl who is my friend after fab5. I am not sure about love. But I am sure that you love her and she loves you too.

Manik: Yes I love her a lot. She is my angel, my star, my firefly. But Dhruv what about you? It's your first time. And how can I.

Dhruv interrupted: Buddy I said I am not sure about love. And the most important part is that you love her and she loves you. Humesha tu humari khushi dekhta hai aur kabhi khudke bare me nahi sochta. But this time I won't let that happen. Your happiness also matters a lot. I know that you were ignoring her yesterday. Why Manik? Because of me? Don't ever do that. Because you both are perfect for each other. Jabse Nandini aayi hai you are happy all the time and I don't want to take away that happiness from you just because of me.

Manik smiled: Dhruv you are such a good friend.

Dhruv: I am not your friend. I am your brother. Promise me you will never leave her or hurt her. And if you do I will kill you because she is my friend and I don't like to see my friends sad.

Manik smiled: I promise that I will never ever leave her or hurt her.

They both got up and hugged each other. Meanwhile, Nandini was coming towards the music room searching for Manik. She was very happy thinking about yesterday. She remembered what Manik had said. " I can't stay away from you Nandini. Mai kitni bhi koshish karu mai tumse durr nahi reh sakta." She blushed thinking about it and in the mean time she reached the music room and at the same time, Manik and Dhruv came out. Nandini was lost in herself and Manik and Dhruv were talking so they didn't see each other. Suddenly Manik and Nandini bumped into each other. They kept looking at each other for a while. Dhruv stood there smiling looking at them. There trance was broken by the voice of Dhruv clearing his throat. They moved away from each other and looked here and there still smiling. To break the silence, Dhruv spoke.

Dhruv: Hi Nandini. Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?

Nandini: Hi Dhruv. Wohh mai Man.. I mean I woke up early so I came here.

Dhruv: Okay. So let's go to the classroom guys.

Manik still looking at Nandini: Ya sure.

They started walking towards the classroom. After some lectures and lunch break, it was time for music class. So everyone went towards the music room.

Raghav sir: So students. I have an announcement to make. You all know about the coming event. It is a musical event and I have already assigned you all with your project work. So keep practicing. It is one of the most popular events among all the schools and many schools will be participating. Our school is the host so we have to treat the guest school very well. The opening act will be done by our school. Fab5, Nandini, Navya and Harshad you all will perform the opening act. All the other arrangements will also be done by you. I will announce the groups. Mukti and Aliya you both will look after the costumes and make up department. Cabir, Dhruv and Navya you both will look after the sitting arrangements. Harshad and Aman you both will look after the hospitality arrangements i.e.: the guest list, Welcome of guests and other schools. Manik and Nandini you both are going to host the event. So start preparing for it.

Nandini: But sir. Hosting and me?

Raghav Sir: Is there a problem Nandini? You both are amazing performers that is why I have chosen you.

Manik came closer to Nandini: No problem sir. We will host.

Raghav sir: That's great. So guys start from today itself. I need all the arrangements to be perfect.

Saying this he left from there. Nandini was scared. After the class, everyone started discussing about the event. Fab5 and NavNi were angry because they had to perform with Harshad but then they thought it is just a performance so they shouldn't mind. But still Nandini was sad about something and everyone could see it. Cabir went near Nandini and side hugged her.

Cabir: Meri junglii billi ko kya hogaya?

Nandini: Nothing Cabir. Wo bas hosting ke liye darr lag raha hai.

Manik came near her and he also side hugged her from other side.

Manik: Why are you scared? I am there na with you. So don't worry.

Dhruv: ya Nandini he is right. You both will do it perfectly.

Nandini smiled: Ya. I should not be scared.

Manik and Cabir hugged her together and three of them started smiling. After breaking the hug, they started talking about their performances. Cabir and Mukti were chilled out, Aliya and Dhruv decided to practice from today, Manik and Nandini were relaxed. After some time, everyone went back to attend the other classes and after the classes they started going towards their rooms. While going towards the rooms, Mukti left from there giving some excuse and rushed towards the washroom. She was in a hurry and looking for something in her bag. She wasn't looking forward and walking very fast. At the same time, Abhi was also going somewhere. He was coming in the direction of Mukti and Mukti was coming in the direction of Abhi. Suddenly they both bumped into each other fell down. Mukti was on top of Abhi. Abhi kept staring at her and Mukti got up as soon as possible and left from there giving an angry look to Abhi. He ruffled his hairs smiling like an idiot. He started walking again but stopped as he saw a packet of tablets on the floor which Mukti had dropped. He picked it up and went towards his room thinking about what kind of tablet it was. He opened his laptop as soon as he reached his room and searched it's name on Google. They were anti depressant pills. He was shocked.

IN THE EVENING

It was around 6 pm when Aliya and Dhruv came to the music room to practice. Aliya decided to play the keyboard while, dhruv decided to play his guitar and they both will sing together. After practicing for a while, they both decided to take a break.

Aliya: Dhruv I guess it's enough for today.

Dhruv: Yeah! You are right. I must say Aliya your song selection is awesome.

Aliya smiled: Thank you Dhruv.

She sat on the chair and Dhruv sat beside her holding his guitar and playing some tune. She was enjoying the sweet melodious tune of his guitar. After some time, Dhruv kept his guitar down. He again sat straight on the chair and accidently kept his hand on Aliya's hand. They both looked at each other for a while and then Dhruv took off his hand and they both looked here and there. After some time, they both left from there and went back to their rooms. Everyone met at the time of dinner and Manik and Nandini came late because of their practice. At the time of dinner, MaNan were sitting together and Manik was back in his mischievous mode. He touched Nandini's leg and started caressing it slowly which sent a tickling sensation to Nandini. She was feeling his warm touch but at the same time she was feeling ticklish. She tried hard to control blushing or laughing as everyone was there. After a few minutes, Manik didn't stop so she slapped Manik's hand and gave an angry look to him. He took away his hand and again after some time, he moved his hand towards her hand and held it tightly under the table. Nandini was liking it so she also held his hand tightly. After having dinner, everyone headed back to their rooms.

AT NIGHT

Aliya was thinking about Manik and Nandini. She was very upset because of their increasing closeness. She has always loved Manik and she also knew that Manik was falling for her. Aliya was jealous of Nandini since the first day of her in school. She started liking her after she helped Mukti but is jealous of her because Manik is very close to her. She said to herself," Manik and Nandini can never happen. Manik is mine. (She became sad and smiled sadly) It seems as if I am trying to convince myself. Manik never loved me and now Nandini is here. Manik is falling for her and I can clearly see it." Tears started rolling from her eyes and she tried to sleep. She lied down and said to herself," I should just let things go as they are going or else I will ruin everything if I be impulsive."

Meanwhile, Manik sneaked into girl's hostel and started walking towards Nandini's room. Nandini was sitting on her bed thinking about Manik and suddenly someone knocked on the door. She knew it was Manik. No one can come at this time. She smiled and slowly opened the door and went out closing the door slowly as Navya was asleep. She was very happy and it was evident from her glowing face. Manik was shocked to see her smiling. He thought she would kill him for coming there so late.

Manik: Why are you so happy? I thought you will kill me.

Nandini: Manik Malhotra you were scared of me?

Manik: Oh please. Manik Malhotra kisi se nahi darta.

Nandini smirked: Oh really. (She moved closer.)

Manik: Yes really.

Nandini kept her hand on his chest and pushed him towards the wall. Manik was surprised with this. He looked at her from up to down. She was looking hot in her shorts and spaghetti top. Nandini kept her index finger under his chin and lifted his chin to make him look at her. She slowly decreased the distance between them and kept her left hand on his right shoulder. Manik looked at her hand which was placed on his shoulder. He was happy and equally surprised. She again made him look at her by moving his face towards her with her right index finger. She kept her index finger near his left eye and moved her finger downward seductively towards his jaw line tracing his cheek. Manik just kept looking at her and was completely lost in her. He was sweating because of this seductive side of Nandini. Nandini took off her finger and started laughing while moving away from him. Manik gave a stern look to her.

Manik: What?

Nandini laughing and showing her finger: You were sweating Manik. See you are scared of me that is why you were sweating.

Manik smirked and pulled her closer by holding her slim waist and pinned her to the wall. With this sudden pull Nandini kept her hands around his neck and they kept looking at each other lovingly. Manik made her grip more tight and decreased the distance between them. He moved closer to her lips. Their noses touched each other and their lips were almost touching each other.

Manik whispered: You want to know why was I sweating?

Nandini slowly: Hmm..

Manik whispered: Because.

Nandini whiepered: Because.

Manik whispered: Because of the increasing hotness level.

Nandini bit her lower lip to hide her blush. But as she bit her lower lip, Manik was going crazy looking at her. Manik kept looking at her luscious, pink lips and was craving for tasting them again. If it worked according to him he would never leave her lips. At the same time, Nandini was also looking at his pink lips and then her eyes went on the mole on the left side of his upper lip. She was also craving to taste his lips again. Manik couldn't control more so he moved more closer to her lips and placed his lips softly on her lips. He started kissing her passionately and got the same response from her. The kissed turned into a passionate kiss. Nandini was playing with his hair and pulling him more closer which made Manik very happy. Manik's left hand was on her waist holding her tightly and pulling her closer while the other hand was caressing her back and playing with her hairs. While kissing, Manik's left hand was near her waist line and because of the short top his hand was touching her bare waist. He felt her soft smooth skin and Nandini loved his warm touch. After some time, they broke the kiss and were breathing heavily but still holding each other in the same position. Manik pecked on her lips again and then looked into her eyes in which he could see love for him. Nandini was also looking into his deep chocolaty brown eyes and then she looked at his mole again and moved closer to his mole and placed and soft wet kiss there and again moved back. They kept looking into each other's eyes for a while and suddenly they both hugged each other tightly at the same time. They both were smiling and blushing thinking about the kiss. After some time, they broke the hug and the shy Nandini was back. She looked down and was blushing hard while Manik stood in front of her smiling at her. They wished good night to each other and then Nandini went inside and Manik went back to his room.

Nandini touched her lips and started blushing. She said to herself," We kissed again. This has never happened to me. I have never lost my control but Manik makes me do that. But this can't happen always. I have to confess my feelings as soon as possible. I can't wait for Saturday. It will be our day Manik." She blushed and went to sleep.

Meanwhile, Manik was in his room and was lying on his bed shirtless. He couldn't stop thinking about Nandini. He touched his mole were she had kissed and started blushing. Yes Manik Malhotra is blushing. He said to himself," Nandini Nandini Nandini you are driving me crazy. I am just waiting for Saturday so that I can claim you mine in front of the whole world. I love You very very much."

PRECAP: Preparations for the musical event.

P.S.: Sorry for the late update. I met my parents after 2 months so I was with them all the time so couldn't update. And there is something I need to clear. In the next chapter I will write about the preparations of the event. All the four days will be covered tomorrow because I don't want to drag it more.

CHAPTER 25

DAY 1(TUESDAY)

All the students and teachers of warrior high were very busy in the arrangements of the upcoming musical event. Unlike other schools, Warrior High not only focused on academics but also on talents of the students. In the morning, Cabir would go along with Navya for her practice and keep an eye on Harshad. Navya liked this gesture of Cabir. Manik and Nandini woke up with a smile on their faces and were still dreaming about yesterday night. They both got ready and reached the class and sat together holding hands. The classes were held up to 12 pm and then the students were assigned with their tasks. Aliya and Mukti were in the drama room where all the costumes were kept. Mukt looked after the costumes and Aliya made arrangements for make up. Meanwhile, Dhruv, Navya and Cabir were in the audi looking after the sitting arrangements and Cavya fighting over small things. Abhi was handed over the backstage arrangements along with Shanaya. Everyone was busy in their works but Manik and Nandini were just practicing in the music room. They had been practicing for 2 hours now and Manik decided to take a break.

Manik: Nandini. We should take a break.

Nandini: Ya Manik. We are done with our song. I hope everything goes perfect.

Manik came closer: Nothing can go wrong when we are together.

Nandini smiled: Ya Manik. You are right. We both are imperfect but when we are together we everything seems to be perfect.

Manik cupped her face: Yes. Everything seems perfect with you.

He bent down a little and placed a soft kiss on her forehead closing his eyes which made her feel happy. It was a kiss which reflected pure love. Moving away from her forehead he started looking into her big brown eyes and then her smile which could make anyone's heart skip a beat. Nandini also looked into his deep chocolaty brown eyes which reflected his pure love and affection for her. They stayed in that position for a while and then moved closer. Manik tilted his face a bit and was about to claim her pink luscious lips when someone coughed which led to breaking their trance. They moved away and saw Cabir. Cabir came near them.

Manik: Cabir! Why do you land up anywhere at wrong time.

Cabir: Sorry to interrupt you both but Raghav sir is calling all of us in the audi.

Nandini: Okay. Let's go then.

Manik: Fine. Let's go.

They went to the audi and saw all the students and they went towards the rest of their gang. Abhi was also present there so Nandini went to talk to him and stood beside him which made Manik jealous even if he knew Nandini thinks of him as her brother. He went on the other side of Nandini and put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her closer. Nandini was shocked with this sudden pull but felt happy being in his arms. Abhi just stood there smiling at his jealousy but just then Mukti came there and he remembered about the pills. He wanted to talk with Mukti but just then Raghav sir came there and started speaking.

Raghav Sir: Good afternoon students. I hope the work is going on well. I need the updates so every group will come and give me the updates. Be quick guys we don't have enough time.

Aliya and Mukti's work was appreciated by Raghav sir while he scolded Navya and Cabir for fighting. Harshad and his partners were praised, Abhi's work was appreciated by him while Shanaya was scolded for not involving much and at last Manik and Nandini were also praised with their progress. Dhruv was told to work with Abhi as Shanaya didn't involve herself much in the task. Everyone again took off to their respective tasks. All day passed with work and everyone was tired. Manik and Nandini practiced their dialogues as well as their song. Navya and Cabir spent their day fighting and having cute arguments. Dhruv and Aliya managed to practice for an hour in between. After having dinner everyone was damn tired and decided to doze off as they had to work more. Everyone headed to their respective rooms and dozed off soon.

DAY 2 (WEDNESDAY)

Cabir was sitting outside the music room waiting for Navya. He kept checking on her time to time and everything was going on well. He sat down on the bench outside and fell asleep. Navya came out after her practice and saw Cabir sleeping like a baby on the bench. She smiled and went near him. She said to himself," Maine kabhi socha nahi tha ki Cabir itna acha hai. He cares for me so much that he wakes up early in the morning for me and now he is sleeping her like a cute baby." Unknowingly she moved her palm towards his face and then sat down on her knees and went closer to his face. Suddenly Cabir woke up but his eyes were half open so Navya abruptly got up and told Cabir to wake up and they both went from there. In the afternoon after the classes everyone went to do their respective works. Manik and Nandini were in the music room and were practicing. Everyone practiced and worked on their tasks the whole day. Aliya and Mukti were busy with their work while Abhi and Dhruv became good friends and worked properly together.In the evening, Manik and Nandini were sitting on the stairs and Nandini was very tired and was feeling sleepy. Manik noticed that she was very tired so he decided not to give her more stress today. Manik side hugged her and she kept her head on his chest feeling his heartbeats.

Manik: Nandu!

Nandini softly: Hmm..

Manik: I think you should take rest. You are tired.

Nandini: No Manik. We have todo so much and

Manik got up and said: Shut up Nandini. You are so tired and I am not going to listen anything.

Nandini: Manik please. Don't.

Manik: Are you coming with me by yourself or you want me to use my tricks.

Nandini folded her hands across her chest and said: I am not coming. You can do whatever you want.

Manik smirked her and lifted her in his arms and started walking towards her room even if Nandini was constantly telling him to put her down. Soon they were inside Nandini's room. Manik gently placed her on her bed and smiled seeing her angry pout. As soon as he placed her on the bed she got up. After some time of fighting over this issue she finally gave up. Manik went inside her washroom to freshen up and when he came outside his face and his shirt were wet. Nandini laughed seeing his condition while Manik glared at her angrily. Manik dried his face with a towel. Nandini was still laughing and then suddenly her eyes widened when Manik started taking off his shirt. He looked at Nandini's face and smirked. He slowly unbuttoned all the buttons of his shirt and seductively threw it on the floor. Nandini looked lovingly at his bare chest and his well build up body. He looked damn hot shirtless thought Nandini. Manik moved closer to Nandini increasing her heartbeats. Manik held her waist and pulled her closer and Nandini kept her hands on his bare chest. They kept looking at each other. They both could feel each other's hot breaths on their faces as well as their heartbeats. Manik could see what effect he has on Nandini and felt happy about it. Manik slowly removed Nandini's school blazer and it fell on the floor and looked at her neck sliding her shirt a little where he saw the faded mark of his love bite. Nandini remembered about it as he touched the mark with his soft hand. She tip toed and went near his neck. Her hands were still on his chest and she moved closer to his neck and kissed the right side of his neck. And then started sucking it and left a love bite on his neck. Manik was very happy with this and suddenly Nandini hugged him tightly as she was feeling shy. Her hands were on his bare back caressing it softly while Manik was playing with her hair. They broke the hug after a few minutes.

Nandini shyly: Ab tum jao Manik. Navya aajayegi toh?

Manik smirked: Okay. Bye.

Nandini saw that he was still shirtless and was smirking. She imagined him going out and all the girls staring at him and trying to get close to him and she got angry thinking about it. He turned around to go when Nandini came in front of him.

Nandini: Stop stop stop.

Manik innocently: Kya hua Nandu?

Nandini: Wohh. Umm.. Wear your shirt and then you can go.

Manik: It's wet na Nandu.

Nandini picked up his shirt and then went towards her dressing table and started drying it with her hair drier. She came near Manik and gave his dry shirt to him.

Nandini: You can wear it now.

Manik smirked and wore his shirt. Nandini just kept admiring him. She was brought out of the trance when Manik gave her a quick hug and went out of the room. Nandini stood there for a while thinking about Manik. Manik came out of her room blushing and went away from there. At the same time, Aliya came out of her room which was close to nandini's room and saw Manik coming out Nandini's room. She had never seen Manik blushing. She felt angry when he saw Manik coming out of Nandini's room and that to blushing. She started walking towards the music room for practicing with Dhruv. She and Dhruv practiced well for an hour but she seemed to be lost and Dhruv noticed it.

Dhruv: Aliya are you fine?

Aliya with tears: No Dhruv I am not fine.

Dhruv cupped her face wiping her tears. Aliya just hugged him tightly and Dhruv also gave in. Dhruv was caressing her back to console her. After some time, they broke the hug.

Dhruv: Please tell me what is wrong with you.

Aliya: Manik.

She again started crying and Dhruv side hugged her trying to console her. He knew what was the matter and he felt bad for Aliya. After some time they joined everyone for dinner and then after having dinner everyone went back to their respective rooms and dozed off.

DAY 3 (THURSDAY)

All the students were gathered up in the Audi after the lunch break. Abhi was still confused about whom to talk with about Mukti. He couldn't see anyone in this state. He turned around when he heard someone calling Mukti's name. It was Harshad who had called Mukti. He remembered Nandini telling about Hharshad. He saw Mukti's face which showed that she is hurt.

Mukti: What is your problem Harshad?

Harshad: I have to talk with you.

Just then Navya came there and saw Harshad. She became sad and went away from there completely ignoring Harshad. Mukti also left from there without letting Harshad say anything. Abhi noticed everything. He said to himself," One playboy and two girls who look equally hurt. I have to do something soon." Meanwhile, Cabir and Navya were sitting on the chairs. They both were exhausted and kept there hands on the arm of the chair. Their hands touched and they saw each other and kept looking at each other. At the same time, Nandini came there and saw them. She said to herself," What is going on between them?" She thought not to disturb them but just then Manik came from behind and kept his hand around her shoulder. He didn't notice Cavya.

Manik: What's up guys?

Cavya came out of the trance and straightened up.

Cabir: Nothing bro. I am just exhausted.

Manik: Ya same here.

Nandini saw Navya glancing at Cabir again and again and a smile appeared on her face. After some time, Raghav sir came and started checking on the arrangements and felt happy seeing his students working so hard. He appreciated everyone and also commented on Cavya that it was good that they had stopped fighting. Everyone chuckled listening to this. Raghav sir left saying that they have to work only today as tomorrow they all can rest. He also said that their opponent school teams would be coming tomorrow. Everyone went back to their work. Aliya and Mukti were checking on the costumes. Aliya seemed very upset to Mukti.

Mukti: Aliya tu theek hai na?

Aliya gave a fake smile: Yes I am fine.

Mukti hugged her: If something is disturbing you please share it with me.

Aliya hugged her back: Yeah sure Mukti.

After their work for the day was done, Mukti went towards her room while Aliya went to the music room to practice with Dhruv. Mukti was in a rush and took out the packet of her pills from her bag but it was empty and then she realised that the other packet was missing. Suddenly Abhi came in front of her and showed her the packet of her pills.

Abhi: Looking for this eh?

Mukti angrily: What the hell? Yeh tumhare paas kyu hai?

Abhi: I should ask that. Why do you have these pills?

Mukti snatched it from his hand: It is none of your business.

She walked away from their angrily and entered her room banging the door. She sat on the floor crying. She was helpless. She was still hurt because of Harshad but she never showed it to anyone. In the evening, everyone met for dinner. Manik and Nandini as usual were sitting together and Manik was teasing her to which she reacted as he had expected. After talking and laughing together for some time, everyone went back to their rooms.

DAY 4 (FRIDAY)

The whole day was off for all the students and all were looking after arrangements. It was the last day for preparations and everyone was working hard. All the students from 5 top schools throughout the India came to Warrior High and they were assigned their respective rooms. Harshad left no chance to impress the teachers by his sweet words. He welcomed all the guests and students very nicely which impressed everyone. He smirked and left from there. Fab5 saw this and giving angry glares to Harshad left from there. Everyone assembled in the Audi where they saw NavNi and Abhi talking and laughing with each other. They all went near them and Manik went straight between Abhi and Nandini and gave a fake smile to Abhi to which he giggled. Raghav sir along with the principal came there and the principal gave a speech to motivate them. Everyone was done with their respective tasks and now they all had to look after the decorations of the Audi where the event will be held. After a few hours the Audi was almost decorated and it looked beautiful. The stage was covered with black shiny cover and around it a set was built. It was dark blue and artificial stars were shining on them. There were curtains hanging around the whole stage making it more beautiful. Everyone settled down and suddenly they realised that they haven't practiced for the opening performance. So fab5, Harshad and NavNi gathered in the music room. Harshad came in between.

Harshad: So guys I will lead.

Manik smirked: Harshad why are you even trying? Everyone knows who is gonna lead. And that is me.

Harshad: No Manik. I will lead.

They faced each other and looked at each other angrily and Nandini came in between.

Nandini: Guys. Stop fighting. I have an idea. Let's toss.

Harshad: Fine.

Nandini took out a coin and tossed it in the air and again caught it. She looked at Manik as if asking what he wants to choose.

Manik: heads.

Nandini opened her hand and saw it was heads. She became happy and started smiling. Seeing her smiling face Manik understood that it was heads.

Nandini looked at Manik with a smile: It's heads.

Manik smirked looking at Harshad: I knew it. So let's get started.

Manik picked up his guitar and came in front of the mike. Nandini came beside him and started adjusting the mike beside him. Manik came closer to her face and Nandini looked at him.

Manik: Thanks.

Nandini: Thanks for what?

Manik: Thanks for making me win.

Nandini smiled: Wo to bas luck tha.

Manik smiled: So that means you are my lucky charm.

Nandini blushed hearing that and they kept looking at each other for a while. And then all of them started practicing for their performance. After practicing for hours with lots of Manik and Harshad fights which were solved by Nandini everyone started going towards the canteen but Abhi stopped Manik and said that he wanted to talk about something. Everyone went to the canteen except for Manik and Abhi.

Manik: What?

Abhi: It's about Mukti.

Manik worriedly: Mukti? What happened?

Abhi: I saw anti depressant pills in her bag. (He explained the whole scenario) I think we should do something to help her. It's not good to take such pills.

Manik: Thank you so much for telling this. I will definitely do something about it.

Abhi: It's my pleasure bro.

They both joined everyone else in the canteen. Manik was very upset thinking about Mukti and he didn't speak anything. Nandini was shocked to see him like this. He didn't do anything to tease her. She was worried for him. After having dinner, Manik left without giving Nandini a chance to speak. Nandini also went to her room worried about Manik. At Night, Nandini was not able to sleep because she knew something was wrong with him. Nandini went outside her room and started walking towards the boy's hostel. She sneaked inside without making any noise. She went towards Manik's room and knocked on the door. Manik was still awake so he opened the door and was shocked to see Nandini there. Manik heard some foot steps and then he saw the peon coming towards his room. He pulled Nandini inside and closed the door. There was someone who saw all this. He was a guy from other school and smirked looking at this. He said to himself," Interesting. There are so many hot chicks around here and I am sure I can have a lot of fun here. I need to know about this hot girl." He smirked and went inside his room.

Manik: Nandini. Are you crazy?

Nandini: I was worried about you. Just tell me what is wrong with you?

Manik sat on the bed and Nandini beside him. Manik put his head down. Nnandini kept her hand on his shoulder to relax him. He looked up and saw Nandini's beautiful face. He thought how could she recognise his feelings so easily.

Manik: It's Mukti. She is back on her anti depressant pills. (He explained what Abhi had told)

Nandini: Manik. Don't worry. We will find a way to deal with it.

Manik: I hope so.

Nandini stood up and pulled Manik with her. Nandini just hugged him tightly and Manik also gave in. Nandini caressed his back slowly to console him and Manik felt relaxed being in her arms. He smiled and huggd her more tightly. They both stayed like this for a long time and then broke the hug. Nandini placed a soft kiss on his forehead which relaxed him completely and took away all his worries. He had no words to describe how he felt at that moment. After some time, Manik went towards Nandini's room with her. They reached her room and saying good night to each other Nandini turned to go inside but then suddenly she turned around and came near Manik. She pecked on his lips and ran to her room giving a shy smile to him. Manik blushed at that moment and went back to his room.

CHAPTER 28

NEXT MORNING

It was 6 am in the morning when a beautiful girl woke up with prettiest smile on her face. She was none other than Nandini. She woke up Navya and was very excited and Navya noticed this. Nandini was smiling and blushing a lot. She was wearing black jeans and a beige coloured short top. She was glowing and her eyes were sparkling with happiness. Navya also got ready wearing a light blue jeans with a white crop top covering her waist. As soon as they went out of the room with their luggage they met Aliya and Mukti. Nandini was so happy that she hugged both of them leaving them confused. They met Dhruv and Abhi in the canteen as decided but Manik and Cabir were nowhere to be seen. Nandini kept looking at the entrance but Manik didn't arrive. Everyone started getting angry on ManBir for getting late as always. Nandini was restless.

Nandini: Guys I will get them.

Saying this she ran away from their leaving her luggage with others. She knocked on ManBir's door and Cabir opened the door while rubbing his eyes. Nandini gave a deathly glare to him and suddenly he realised they were late. He ran to the washroom saying sorry to her. She went near Manik and saw him sleeping like a baby on his stomach. Nandini went near him and saw his baby like face. She said to herself," Aww.. He looks so cute just like a baby." She kept staring at him for a while and then realised that they were getting late. She again said to herself," Aiyaappa what am I thinking? I should wake him up." She sat beside him, removed his blanket and started shaking him and he replied in a sleepy tone," Please let me sleep na." Nandini said," Manik wake up na. We are getting late."

Manik opened his eyes and saw Nandini. He smirked and pulled her with him on the bed. Nandini was lying on top of him and her hands were on his chest and the next second Manik was on top of her. Nandini started blushing as his hands touched her bare waist. He saw her blushing and caressed his bare waist slowly which made her blush harder. Nandini was lost in him but as soon as she realised they had to leave for Mumbai today she said," Manik please leave me na. Mumbai jana hai and we are already late." Manik smirked and said," Give me my good morning kiss then only Ii will get ready." Nandini moved her hands towards his face and then her hands reached his hair and pulled him closer suddenly. Manik was loving this and he also moved closer to her lips and kissed her soft pink lips as if he was craving for this since years. Nandini also responded with same passion. They both were kissing each other passionately. Manik sucked her lower lip and Nandini his upper lip and vice versa. After some time they broke the kiss and were breathing heavily. Nandini said slowly," Manik please now get ready." Manik smiled and pecking her lips again got up from the bed and at the same time Cabir also came out from the washroom. Nandini also straightened up as she saw Cabir. Cabir was looking at Manik with a shocked face and Manik couldn't understand what it meant. Cabir started laughing and Manik shouted," What?" Cabir said," Main 5 minutes ke liye washroom kya gaya yaha toh bohot kuch hogaya." And he winked at Manik. Manik and Nandini stood beside each other and both were confused. Cabir brought him front of the mirror and pointed towards Manik's face. Nandini started blushing as she saw the shade of her lip gloss on his lips. Manik also blushed a little and then turned his face into an angry face and went inside the washroom to get ready. Cabir smirked looking at the blushing Nandini. Nandini avoided any eye contact with him. Cabir didn't question her anything and got ready with their bags. After some time, Manik came out wearing beige shorts and simple black T shirt. He went in front of the mirror and adjusted his hair and applied his deodorant. He wore his blue tinted ray ban glasses and went out with his bag pack with Cabini. Nandini was in the middle and both of them kept their hands around her shoulder.

They met everyone in the canteen who was giving them deadly stares and soon everyone was sitting in the bus and left for the station. Soon they reached the station and took their seats. MaNan and Cavya were in one compartment and Dhrulya and Mukbhi were in the adjacent one. As it was day time and no one had to sleep, everyone came together in one compartment and started talking and laughing with each other. Navya was going to stay with Nandini at her house as her Mom had went to attend some marriage function. In the evening, the train arrived on Mumbai CST and everyone got down with their respective bags. Nandini was struggling with her bag so Manik like a true gentleman carried her bag. Aliya's car arrived and she left with Mukti and Dhruv. Abhi took a cab and went to his home. Manik's car had arrived and he was going to drop Cabir. They were waiting for Nandini's Chacha- Chachi. They waited for 10 minutes and she got a call from Chacha that they were very sorry but they can't pick her up due to some problem. She politely said that Manik would drop her safely. Manik went towards his black Audi R8 and told the driver that he would drive on his own and sat on the driver's seat. Nandini sat beside him and Cavya sat at the back seat.

MaNan were continuously stealing glances and blushing. Manik turned on the radio and it played the song," Kaise bataoon Tujhe." Cabir and Navya started remembering their first kiss and at the same time MaNan were recalling their good morning kiss and four of them were smiling and blushing. Navya slowly held Cabir's hand and kept her scarf on their hands so that no one can see it. Soon they reached Nandini's house and ManBir helped them to get their bags.

Nandini: Guys Please come inside na. Rishab will be happy to see you both.

Manik: Yeah! I so want to meet him.

Cabir: Ya that sounds great.

MaNan and Cavya went inside and Chachi welcomed them very sweetly. Nandini introduced all of them and then Rishab came down running and hugged Nandini tightly and Nandini also hugged him back with the same force. Nandini said," I missed you so much Rishu." Rishab broke the hug and made a sad face. Nandini held her ears and said," Sorry. I won't call you that. Now smile." Rishab smiled and everyone else also smiled looking at them. Nandini then said to Rishab," Rishab I have a surprise for you. Ye dekho kaun aaya hai! Manik and Cabir." Rishab thought for a while and soon he recognized them. He firstly hugged Manik and then Cabir. They both were very happy to meet him again. Chachi said," Beta tum sab khana kha kar hi jana." Manik smirked and said," Obviously Chachi. Nandu bohot tarif karti hai aap ke khane ki. Baki sab ka pata nahi par mai zaroor khaunga." Chachi was impressed and blushingly said," Haaye kitna sona munda hai. Mai abhi tum sab ke liye mere special chhole leke aati hu." She excitedly went to the kitchen and MaNan and Cavya went to Nandini's room to freshen up. Rishab was very happy today and was all the time with Manik. Nandini smiled looking at their bonding. Soon they joined Chacha and Chachi for dinner. The dinner went quite well with lot of teasing, talking and Manik was trying to impress Chacha Chachi the whole time. After having dinner, Manik and Cabir left from there. As soon as ManBir left, Nandini ran to her room saying that she was tired and went towards the window and Navya also followed her to her bedroom. Manik was on the driving seat and was adjusting his seat belt. Manik looked towards her house again trying to get a glimpse of her and there he saw Nandini smiling at him through the window. Nandini waved him good bye and Manik gave her a flying kiss to which she blushed. Manik drove off giving her a cute smile. Manik reached his home after dropping Cabir to his house. As soon as he reached home, he saw Nyonika sitting on the sofa and sipping wine. Manik rolled his eyes and shouted," Kaka mera bag room me bhej dena." He started going to his room without talking to her but she stopped him.

Nyonika: Manik. What is this? I was waiting for you and you didn't even notice me.

Manik: Nyonika. Please don't act like you care. Kya kam hai jaldi batao. I am tired.

Nyonika smirked: You have become smart now. Papers tumhare room me rakhe hai. I need it signed till tomorrow.

Manik: Yeah! Yeah! I will. Don't worry but what will I get back?

Nyonika: What do you want?

Manik: I want you to stay away from me for a week.

He went to his room and angrily shut the door with a bang. Nyonika made an angry face and started doing her work. Manik went to his room and taking a hot shower he came back wearing his tracks and lied down on the bed shirtless. He was lying on his stomach and was checking his phone. At the same time, Nandini was also on her bed checking her cell phone. She went on line on Whatsapp and at the same time he also went online on whatsapp and as soon as he started typing a message to Nandini he received a message from her.

Nandini: What is my monster doing?

Manik smiled: Missing you badly. (With a crying smiley)

Nandini: Aww.. We will meet tomorrow. I want you to take me to your favourite places in Mumbai. And I miss you too. (With a kiss smiley)

Manik: Yes Madame. Anything for you! (With a red heart)

Nandini blushed: Now go and sleep. You must be tired. Good night.

Manik: But where is my good night kiss?

Nandini smiled: Ye lo. (She sent many kiss smiles and lips wala smiley also) Now good Night and dream about me. (She added wink wala smiley)

Manik smiled: Thank you love! And obviously I will dream about you. Anyways Good night. Sweet Dreams. I LOVE YOU (He added a heart smiley)

Nandini blushed: I love you More.

They both smiled and keeping their phones on the side table, went to sleep and soon they were asleep dreaming about each other.

NEXT MORNING

It was around 9 am in the morning when Nandini woke up and praying to her Aiyappa she took a bath and came out wearing a black jeans and a simple white t shirt with light blue denim shirt which was unbuttoned. She came downstairs and greeted everyone. Navya was still sleeping. She decided to go to Manik's place as she was dying to meet him. She left a note for Navya saying that she is at Manik's place and she should also come there as soon as she wakes up. She then realised that she doesn't know where Manik lives. So she called up Cabir and told him to message her the address and she also told everyone to come there till 11 am. Cabir texted her the address and saying good bye to everyone she left.

She reached Manik's home at 10 am. Actually it was not a house, it was a mansion. She read the name on the big white Mansion," Malhotra Mansion." She entered inside and she was greeted sweetly by the servants. She said that she had come to meet Manik and the servant showed him the direction to his room. She entered Manik's room and saw him sleeping shirtless on his stomach and a black soft blanket covering him until his waist line. She opened the curtains of the room and Manik woke up with this. He shouted," Kaun hai? Let me sleep." Nandini giggled seeing him shouting like a child. Manik saw that it was Nandini and he suddenly got up with a jerk. He was just wearing his low waist tracks showing off his hot body. His messy hair and his sleepy voice added to his hotness. Nandini was looking at his well built body. Manik smirked looking at her widened eyes and flushed face. He started moving towards her. Nandini knew what he would ask for so she got out of her Manik land and said without looking at him," Manik tum fresh hokar niche aajao. I will make coffee for you." She ran saying this and Manik sighed. He said," Nandini!" and then went to freshen up. Till then Nandini went to the kitchen and started making coffee for him by taking help of the servants to find the ingredients. Manik came out shirtless and with a t shirt in his hand and was about to wear it but then he remembered Nandini's face when she saw him shirtless. He threw the shirt on the floor and went towards the kitchen.

He entered the kitchen and saw Nandini ready with two cups of hot steaming coffee. Nandini saw him entering in the kitchen and he was still shirtless. It was already hard to control herself and now he was shirtless which made her heart beat faster and faster. He came closer to Nandini and leaned towards her face and she closed her eyes expecting a kiss but Manik took the coffee mug which was kept on the kitchen slab behind her. She opened her eyes when she sensed that Manik is not close to her. She saw Manik smirking at her and sipping coffee. Nandini felt embarrassed and she also started drinking her coffee.

Manik: Ummm.. Yummm.. Nice coffee.

Nandini smiled: After all I made it. It tastes good na?

Manik: Yeah! But you know what tastes better?

Nandini innocently: What?

Manik took both the mugs and kept it aside and moved closer to her. She was standing taking the support of the kitchen slab and Manik was standing in front of her. He moved closer and closer to her increasing her heart beats. Manik moved closer to her ears and said seductively," Your lips." Nandini blushed a little and when he saw her face she bit her lower lip to hide her blush. This was enough for Manik to loose control. He cupped her face and started kissing her passionately and she also kissed him back with equal passion and love. Manik's hands moved towards her back and slowly down to her waist. Nandini's hands were digging in his hairs and pulling him closer and closer. Manik held her waist tightly and made her sit on the kitchen slab still not leaving her lips even for a moment. Nandini widened her legs and Manik was between her legs and she was holding his waist tightly with her legs. They both were still kissing and tasting each other. Manik started removing her shirt and while kissing her and then breaking the kiss he kissed her neck and sucked it. He then moved downwards and started licking her neck are above her just above her cleavage passionately and his hands caressing her back. Manik was placing wet kisses everywhere and Nandini moaned his name in pleasure. Manik moved a little more downward and was about kiss her cleavage but they were disturbed by the sound of the door bell. They moved a bit away from each other and kept staring at each other lovingly. Their trance was broken by the sound of his servant. He said," Manik Baba aapke dost aaye hai." Then Cabir shouted," Manik baba jaldi aajao." Saying this he seated on the sofa along with Mukbhi, Dhrulya and Navya.

Manik rolled his eyes and asked Nandini with irritation," Ye sab yaha kya kar rahe hai? We were having our best moment and they just ruined it. Arghhh." Nandini looked here and there and said innocently," Woh Maine bulaya tha. Sorry Manik." Manik's anger melted away seeing her cute face. Manik smiled and said," It's okay Angel. Let's go out. They must be waiting." Saying this Manik started moving out but Nandini stopped him and stood in front of him. Manik looked at her confusingly and she slowly moved her fingers towards his lips and rubbed off the lip gloss marks from his lips which made him smile, They both went out of the kitchen but Nandini again stopped him.

Nandini: Manik woh..

Manik: Kya hua Nandini.

Nandini: Woh.. Go and wear you T shirt.

Manik smirked: Ohh.. But why Nandu?

Nandini: Go na Manik. Please.

Manik and went to his room giving her a smile. Nandini joined the others and sat on the sofa. Manik came down after some time, wearing a black jeans, yellow T shirt and and blue casual blazer.

Manik: Hi Guys.

Cabir: Toh Manik Baba is finally here.

Mukti: Guys. Let's do something today.

Manik: ya guys. Nandini is new in Mumbai so let's take her to our favourite places.

Nandini smiled: Yeah guys. I also want to see Mumbai.

Dhruv: Toh chale.

Cabir: But kaha?

All the girls together: Shopping!

All the boys sighed and showed fake anger to them. At first no one agreed but seeing Nandini so happy and discussing with the girls about shopping with so much enthusiasm Manik happily agreed and everyone stared at him angrily. They took two cars, one of Manik and other of Mukti. Manik was driving and Nandini sat with Manik and Dhrulya were sitting at the back seat. In the other car, Cabir was driving and Mukti sat beside him and Abhi and Navya sat at the back seat. MaNan were stealing glances and so did Dhrulya. At the same time, Cabir was looking at Navya through the mirror and Navya blushed looking at him.

They reached Infinity 2 mall and went inside parking their cars. The girls entered the Only Vero Moda store and boys followed them. Nandini was selecting some dresses for herself alone while Muklya were together and Navya was with Cabir somewhere around. Nandini was confused between two dresses and then Manik came near her and said," The floral one will suit you." Nandini looked at herself in the mirror and held the dress in front of her and she really like his choice. Manik came behind her and started looking at her through the mirror. Nandini asked," This dress is so pretty na. It will look so good on me." Manik came closer and said," No. You are prettier. This dress will look good if you wear it." Nandini blushed a little and ran towards the fitting room and came out wearing the white dress with green and yellow floral print on it. She looked stunning in that dress. Manik was amazed as she came out looking so pretty. He just gave her a smile which made her blush. Mukti and Aliya also came there. Mukti went inside the fiiting room without noticing MaNan and Aliya looked at them staring at each other with so much of love. Aliya smiled and cleared her throat to divert their attention. Nandini blushed and went inside again. Aliya came near Manik and said," Manik, can I ask you something?" Manik said," Yeah sure." Aliya said," You love her na?" Manik gave her a shocked look and Aliya said," Manik, answer to my question. Don't think about that Aliya who loved you but think about your best friend and answer. Please!" Manik smiled and said," Yes I love her Aliya. She is the love of my life." Aliya smiled as Manik blushed after saying that. Aliya said," Manik Malhotra has changed for good." Manik just smiled and Aliya went to the fitting room to change. After some time, everyone came out of the store and the girls were carrying a lot of shopping bags. Nandini had 4 bags so Manik took all the bags from her hand and started walking with her. Nandini just smiled at this gesture of him.

Everyone went to many stores and everyone was done with their shopping. Nandini bought some dresses and some shorts, jeans and tops and so did Navya and Aliya. Mukti just bought some shorts, crop tops and loose boyish full sleeved tops. While, Manik bought some t shirts, shirts and blazers from zara, tommy and some other expensive brands. Cabir, Abhi and Dhruv were not interested in shopping so they didn't. After a tiring day at the mall, everyone went to have dinner at the mall itself. They went to have dinner at Zaffran and had Punjabi food on request of Nandini. Everyone enjoyed a lot and after having dinner everyone started going back to their houses. Dhrulya and Mukbhi went in Mukti's car while MaNan and Cavya went in Manik's car. Manik dropped Nandini and Navya first at Nandini's place. Everyone got out of the car. Nandini hugged Manik tightly and Manik also gave in. She said," Good Night Monster." Manik smiled and replied," Good night Angel." After breaking the hug, Nandini hugged Cabir and went inside along with Navya. Manik was waiting for Nandini to come on the window. Cabir was confused about why he was waiting. Just then he saw Nandini on the window smiling and waving at Manik and Manik gave her a flying kiss to which she blushed and Manik started driving with a smile on his face.

Cabir: Ahem ahem. So do you want to say something?

Manik: What?

Cabir: Manik baba. Please stop pretending!

Manik smiled: Okay okay! Me and Nandini. We are together now. It happened on the day of musical event.

Cabir laughed: I know that. Bas tere bolne ka wait kar raha tha.

Manik: Tujhe kaise pata?

Cabir: I had helped Nandini for arrangements.

Manik: Okay. Btw what is going on between you and Navya?

Cabir: What? Nothing!

Manik: Oh really? We saw you both kissing. Just tell me the truth man!

Cabir: I.. I don't know ( He said to himself," Do I love her?")

Meanwhile, Nandini and Navya were lying on the bed talking and laughing like real besties.

Navya: So Nandini you and Manik..Ummm..

Nandini smiled: Ya Navya. We are together now. We confessed two days back.

Navya: Wow! You are so lucky to have him.

Nandini smiled: Hmm. Waise tum Cabir ko kab bata rahi ho that you love him?

Navya blushed: I.. I don't know. Abhi chalo so jao.

Nanidini chuckled: Okay.. Good night.

Meanwhile, Manik reached home after dropping Cabir and went to his room directly and after changing his clothes he jumped on the bed. He texted Nandini.

Manik: I have reached home. You still awake?

Nandini: Yeah! Was waiting for you.

Manik smiled: Hmm.. So enjoyed today?

Nandini: Yes a lot! The whole day was amazing.

Manik: Yes it was! Especially the morning. (He added the wink wala smiley.)

Nandini blushed: Hmm.. ( with a blush wala smiley) I am tired. You also sleep now. Good night. Sweet dreams. Love you. (She added many hearts)

Manik smiled: Okay! Good night. Sweet dreams and I love you more! (He also added many hearts)

They both kept their cell phones aside and went to sleep. Manik lied on his stomach and fell asleep hugging his pillow and Nandini fell asleep lying on her back and hugging her pillow.

NEXT MORNING

Nandini and Navya were sleeping peacefully but there sleep was disturbed by some noises coming from downstairs. Navya slept again without even bothering but Nandini went down as she listened some familiar voice. She freshened up soon and went down wearing her night suit and saw Manik on the dining table with Chachi and Rishab. Manik was all the time impressing Chachi with his sweet words. As soon as Nandini came down Manik hugged her lightly and wished her good morning. Nandini was shocked as he hugged in front of everyone but seeing Chachi's smiling face she also hugged him back and sweetly wished him good morning. They both sat on the dining table and started having breakfast.

Chachi: Nandu, kitna late uthi tu. Dekh Manik to itni subah hum sab se milne aagaya. Kitna sona Munda hai.

Manik just smirked looking at Nandini while Nandini just nodded her head in disbelief. She knew that Manik could impress anyone but she never thought that her Chachi would be impressed with him so easily. They had breakfast and Navya also joined them. After having breakfast everyone got seated on the sofa. Everyone started talking and laughing together. It was an amazing morning for everyone. After some time, chachi got busy in her work and NavNi went to take bath. Manik went to Rishab's room to play with him. Manik had a great time with Rishab playing video games with him. Rishab was very happy after a long time. NavNi got ready after some time and they also went to Rishab's room and saw both of them playing and laughing together. After some time, Manik went near Nandini and Navya went near Rishab and she also started playing video games with him. Manik leaned towards Nandini when they were sitting on the bed. Nandini faced him and Manik moved closer to her.

Manik: Nandu I need my good morning kiss.

Nandini was shocked: What? Like right now? Manik everyone is here then how can I?

Manik smirked: I want it that means I want it.

Nandini: Manik please understand na.

Manik looked around and saw Navya and Rishab were busy playing video games and Chachi was no where around. So he moved closer and quickly pecked on her lips and straightened up. Nandini blushed a little and then they both had an passionate eye lock. After some time, Nandini took out her phone and started taking selfies with Manik. They posed in all the funny ways possible. At last they took some decent selfies. Manik then took the phone from her hand and clicked a selfie where he is holding Nandini close in his arms, then Manik kissed her cheek and clicked a selfie and in the next selfie Nandini kissed his cheek. Nandini sent all the pictures to Manik. They had a great time and then Manik was about to leave when Chachi asked him to stay for lunch. But he politely refused.

Manik: Chachi I am really sorry but mujhe aaj Dhruv ki mom ne lunch pe bulaya hai. But I promise that I will come for lunch any time you want.

Chachi: Koi bat nahi beta.

Manik: Umm. Chachi waise aaj ratko hum sab friends mere ghar par night out plan kar rahe hai. So kya Nandini aa sakti hai?

Chachi smiled: Han han kyu nahi. Tum ho na to mujhe koi tension nahi hai Nandini ki. Woh zaroor aayegi Navya ke sath.

Manik: Thank you so much chachi. I will come to pick her up and kal subah mai drop bhi kar dunga.

Chachi: Han beta.

Manik: Okay then I will see you soon chachi. Please take care. Bye everyone.

Nandini: Bye Manik.

Manik smiled and went to his car and as he looked up there she was waiting for him at her window. She waved good bye to him and he drove off giving her a flying kiss and as always she blushed. Manik happily went to Dhruv's place and after having lunch with his best buddy and his mom he went to Dhruv's room and they spent some quality time with each other.

Manik: Dhruv, I want to share something with you.

Dhruv: Han bol na buddy. Let me guess. It is about Nandini. Right?

Manik smiled: Yes Buddy. I confessed my feelings and she also feels the same.

Dhruv hugged him: Congrats buddy.

Manik hugged him back: Thanks buddy.

After some time, Manik drove off to his home. Cabir, Dhruv, Navya and Nandini spent some time with their families while, Mukti and Aliya were with each other at Aliya's place. Manik was all the time doing his favourite thing i.e.: playing his guitar and singing.

IN THE EVENING

Manik came to Nandini's place at 7:30 in the evening and was mesmerized to see her. She was wearing a black boat neck knee length dress with a white broad belt attached to her dress under her chest with her hairs tied up in a side pony tail. Mani opened the door for Nandini and after Navya was seated in the back seat he drove off to his place where everyone had arrived. Everyone went inside and had dinner. Manik had ordered his chefs to prepare many dishes like pasta, pizza, noodles as well as some south Indian dishes especially for Nandini. Nandini felt very happy as she knew that Manik had done this for her. After having the dinner, everyone settled in the living room.

Aliya: Guys let's watch a movie.

Mukti: Yeah guys. Movie would be awesome.

Manik: Yeah sure. Which movie?

Cabir: What about avengers 2?

Aliya: Shut up Cabir! We are not watching any super hero movies.

Nandini: Yeah. Let's watch a romantic movie.

Cabir smirked: Accha you wanna watch a romantic movie.

Nandini: Yes!

Cabir: Okay then. I have a nice movie. I will be back soon.

Cabir went upstairs to get his hard disc. Nandini suggested that they should have some popcorn so she went towards the kitchen. Manik went behind her saying that he will get some drinks for everyone. Aliya went to the pool side to get some fresh air and Dhruv followed her. Nandini went inside the kitchen and started making popcorn and Manik also opened the fridge to get some drinks. He didn't look at Nandini and was pretending that he was busy which pissed her off. She was confused that why wasn't he paying attention to her. She came in front of him and when he looked at her she gave an angry look. He asked," What?" Nandini nodded her head and started moving out. Manik smirked and held her hand and pulled her closer. Manik pinned her to the kitchen slab and started caressing her face. He slowly moved his hands to her hair and opened her hair to which she gave a confusing look.

Manik: You look more beautiful now.

Nandini started blushing and she kept her hands around his neck pulling him closer. Within no time she started kissing his pink lips and he also kissed her back with more passion and placed his hands on her lower waist. Meanwhile, Aliya was feeling the cool breeze when Dhruv also joined her and stood beside her. Aliya smiled looking at him and he also gave a cute smile.

Aliya: Dhruv, you knew about Manik and Nandini right?

Dhruv: Umm.. Aliya woh main.

Aliya: Please Dhruv tell me the truth.

Dhruv: Yes. I knew that Manik loves her and that is why I told you that I don't want to do anything to get closer to her. I am sorry.

Aliya smiled and turned towards him: Don't be sorry. You did the right thing.

Dhruv: Aliya are you okay? I mean Manik aur tum.

Aliya: I am perfect. Manik aur main kuch nahi the. We were and will be best friends. I think what I felt for Manik was not love. I was just being childish. But I think now I am falling for someone. For real.

Aliya moved closer to Dhruv and looked at him lovingly and hugged him tightly. Dhruv also gave in and when they broke the hug they kept looking at each other for a while. And slowly they started moving towards each other's face. Dhruv cupped her face and Aliya kept her hands on his shoulders. Tilting her face, she moved closer to his lips and in no time claimed it. They kissed each other slowly yet passionately. After breaking the kiss, Aliya started blushing and Dhruv also smiled shyly and looked here and there. At the same time, Cabir got his hard disc and came to the living room and shouted," Guys I am back." Meanwhile Manik and Nandini were breathing heavily and listening to Cabir they straightened up and taking drinks and popcorn for everyone, went outside. Aliya and Dhruv also joined them. Manik switched off the lights and Cabir played the movie. Manik and Nandini were sitting on the sofa together, Cabir was sitting on the floor taking the support of the sofa, Mukti was lying on his lap and Navya sat beside Cabir. Aliya and Dhruv sat on the other sofa and Abhi sat beside them. The movie was about to begin and when Manik saw that Cabir had played Fifty Shades of Grey. He shouted," Cabir What the hell? Ye movie kyu?" Cabir smirked and said," Nandu ko romantic movie dekhni thi. Isiliye." Nandini said innocently," Han Manik. Shut up and watch the movie." Aliya and Mukti chuckled while Abhi controlled his laugh. Nandini was confused but she started watching the movie. Manik pulled her closer and now her head was on his chest and she wrapped her arms around his stomach.

Everyone was watching the movie silently, eating popcorn and sipping their drinks silently. Manik was feeding her popcorn and sometimes she did the same. They were having an awesome time but as the movie proceeded the things got awkward. The scenes got intimate and Nandini felt a bit awkward and at the same time Navya's eyes also widened seeing such bold scenes. While, Aliya and Dhruv held hands during the movie. Nandini moved away from Manik slowly and sat uncomfortably beside him. Watching such scenes Manik was turned on and he wanted to be near Nandini. He slid his right arm around her waist and pulling her closer, moved his face towards her neck.

He moved her hair from her neck and kissed her neck and then started sucking her neck. Nandini closed her eyes in pleasure. Manik moved his left hand towards her thighs and started caressing it slowly. Nandini was also loving it and as he moved away from her neck she placed her lips on his lips and they started kissing passionately. While kissing Nandini moved her hand towards his neck and he moved his hand inside her dress. He caressed her thighs below her dress and then started pressing it and slowly his hands moved upwards. They broke the kiss after some time and were looking at each other passionately. Manik realised that they were not alone so he straightened up and started watching the movie again and Nandini rested her head on his chest and wrapped her arms around his stomach. Manik smiled as he knew that she was not uncomfortable now.

After some time, the movie was over and Cabir switched on the lights and asked everyone about the movie. No one replied so he started laughing. Manik and Nandini didn't know what to answer because they were busy in themselves and both of them were not concentrating on the movie. After watching the movie, everyone was thinking about what they should do. Everyone suggested some or the other thing but it did not sound fun so they kept on thinking ideas. Nandini got an idea and she suggested that they should go on a long drive. Everyone loved her idea. Manik came to the entrance with his SUV and everyone sat in his car. Manik and Nandini sat on the front seats, Abhi and Cavya on the middle seats and Dhrulya and Mukti at the back seats.

Manik was driving and everyone started talking, gossiping and laughing on Cabir's silly jokes. Manik took out his phone and gave it Nandini.

Manik: Umm.. Nandini. AUX connect kar do and open my playist 1. You can play any song from that.

Nandini took his phone and as she unlocked it, she found their picture as it's wallpaper. It was the photo where Nandini is kissing on his cheeks. Nandini smiled and unlocked her phone too. Her phone had the wallpaper where Manik is kissing Nandini's cheek. She started smiling and keeping her phone down she opened the playlist 1 in Manik's phone. She found that almost all the songs in his playlist were same as her playlist. She swiped down and saw that Manik also listens the songs of her favourite band.

Nandini excitedly: Manik you also listen to sanam songs?

Manik: Yeah! It is my favourite band.

Nandini: Mine too. They sing all the old songs and I just love it.

Manik smiled: Same here.

Nandini played " Yeh Raatein yeh mausam" song from his playlist which was her favourite song and which happened to be his favourite song too. The song started and they both were humming the song while the others also were enjoying the song.

After the song was over everyone started clapping and praising them while MaNan were lost in each other. Cabir went out of the car followed by everyone. Nandini removed her heels in the car itself and ran towards the beach. Manik followed her and smiled seeing her enjoying. Nandini went towards the sea and walked a little inside. Manik joined her and held her hand tightly so that she doesn't fall. Meanwhile,Aliya took Mukti with her to a corner. Abhi and Dhruv were talking while sitting on the sand and Navya ran towards the ice cream stall followed by Cabir.

Navya: cabir mujhe ice cream chahiye.

Cabir smiled: Yeah sure. Which flavour.

Navya: Strawberry.

Cabir bought a strawberry ice cream for her and she started eating it and making noises of pleasure while eating. This brought a smiled on Cabir's face. Navya saw Cabir smiling at her so she offered him ice cream and he said yes. Navya made him eat the ice cream with the same spoon and they both enjoyed their ice cream a lot. At the same time,

Aliya: Mukti I need to tell you something.

Mukti: Han Aliya bol na.

Aliya blushed: Woh. I had my first kiss today.

Mukti: What? Omg! Congrats Aliya. Finally you and Manik are together now.

Aliya: It's not Manik. It's Dhruv.

Mukti shocked: Dhruv? Yeh kab hua?

Aliya started blushing more and Mukti just hugged her happily without asking any further questions. They both joined Dhruv and Abhi and sat with them on the sand. Mukti started smiling wickedly towards Dhruv and Dhruv gave a "What" look to her. She just ignored it started smiling. Abhi saw her smiling and he was happy about it.

Abhi whispered into Mukti's ear: You look beautiful while smiling.

Mukti looked at Abhi and they had an eye lock. Meanwhile, MaNan were still holding hands and looking at the stars and enjoying the cool water touching their feet. Suddenly Nandini bent down and she splashed some water on Manik and Manik did the same. They both were enjoying and laughing loudly and soon they were almost wet. They were running behind each other and splashin water. After some time, they stopped running and were panting. Manik moved towards her and cupped her face with one hand and cleaned the sand particles on her face with the other hand. They came back and everyone was shocked seeing their condition.

Cabir: Woo hoo! Look at you both.

Aliya: Nandini your dress.

Nandini smiled: yeah! I know dress dirty hogayi hai. But it's fine. We enjoyed a lot.

Cabir: Nandu! You are so different. You don't care that your clothes are getting dirty you just enjoy.

Nandini: Yes Cabir. Because if I keep worrying about my looks then when will I enjoy.

Everyone smiled at her answer and then everyone went back to the car and Manik started driving back to his place. Manik was driving silently but stealing glances of Nandini who was busy staring outside putting her head out of the window and enjoying the cool breeze. Manik was driving while the songs were playing in the background. Suddenly nandini shouted.

Nandini: Manik! STOP THE CAR.

Everyone got scared as she shouted. Navya who was sleeping on cabir's shoulder also woke up with a jerk. Everyone in unison shouted," What?" Manik looked around and saw an ice cream parlour. He started smiling.

Nandini happily: Ice cream! (Everyone sighed)

Manik: Chocolate ice cream for you. Right? (She nodded) And guys aur kisi ko chahiye?

Aliya: I want black current.

Mukti: Same here.

Abhi and Dhruv said that they don't want an ice cream while Cabir and Navya said that they already had on the beach. Manik went and came out with 3 ice cream cups and 2 spoons. Manik gave Aliya and Mukti their ice creams with spoons and gave Nandini her ice cream cup which she happily accepted.

Cabir: Manik you brought only 2 spoons.

Manik smirked: She doesn't need a spoon.

Nandini smiled and started eating her favourite chocolate ice cream with her index finger. Everyone smiled looking at her innocence. Manik started driving and she was enjoying the ice cream and started thinking about that time when Manik had licked the ice cream from her cheek. She touched her cheek and started blushing. Manik looked at her at the same time and smiled remembering the same moment. Manik was driving when Nandini saw a couple riding on a bike. It was her favourite bike i.e.: bullet. Nandini said slowly," I wish I could ride on a bike once." No one except Manik heard it. Manik said to herself," I will fulfil all your wishes my princess."

Soon they reached Manik's house and everyone went to sleep in their respective rooms. NavNi shared a room, Muklya shared a room, Abhi and Dhruv in one room and Cabir slept in Manik's room. Manik took a quick shower and changed into black tracks and blue vest and Nandini also changed into her night suit after taking a quick shower. They both went to the bed but weren't able to sleep. Nandini got up from the bed and went outside the room and walked towards Manik's room. Manik also got up from the bed and went outside his room. MaNan saw each other and smiled.

Nandini: Woh I wasn't able to sleep. So.. I came..Umm.

Manik smiled: Same here. Waise I have an idea. Will you come with me?

Nandini: Yeah sure.

Manik went inside his room and came back with some blankets and pillows and they both went to the terrace. Nandini placed a sheet on the floor and they both lied down and started staring at the stars. Manik wrapped his arms around her and she placed her head on his chest.

Manik: Do you still hate stars?

Nandini: No.. And do you still love stars?

Manik: Yes. But I love my personal shining star more.

Nandini blushed: I love you too Manik.

Manik closed his eyes and said: My good night kiss.

Nandini smiled and pecked on his lips and he also pecked on her lips. They both smiled and after some time of star gazing they fell asleep in each other's arms. Manik was lying on his back resting his head on the pillow and holding Nandini in his arms while Nandini was resting her head on her personal pillow that is his chest and her hand wrapped around his stomach. They slept peacefully in each other's arms.

CHAPTER 5

Fab5 walked away leaving behind a confused Nandini. Nandini to herself," Aiyappa ye aapne kya kar diya? Manik ko mera partner bana diya. Ab kya karungi mai." She was brought out of the trance by Navya. They both went back to their room.

NEXT MORNING

Fab5 were sitting in the class at the back benches. Manik was sitting casually keeping his legs on the desk, Aliya was sitting next to Manik, Mukti was beside Aliya, Cabir was sitting on the desk and Dhruv was standing near Manik. At the same time Nandini and Navya entered the classroom. Nandini was looking very beautiful wearing a white headband. They both couldn't find and seat in front so they both went and sat near the benches of fab5. Fab5 didn't notice them as they were chit chatting.

Cabir: Mujhe to doubt ho raha hai ki mai pass bhi hounga ya nahi.

Aliya: What happened Cabir?

Cabir: Aree Aliya these subjects are out of my mind. But ye Manik baba ki wajahse lena pada.

Manik: Cabir! You know how Nyonika is! I had to choose these subjects because of her.

Mukti: Aur Manik commerce lega to hum sab bhi uske sath hai. We are one for all and all for one.

Cabir: Ya. You are right.

They were distracted by the voice of Nandini laughing like anything with Navya.

Nandini: Navya you are crazy. Seriously!

Navya saw harshad and ran behind him: Harshad ji (she shouted and sat with him)

Nandini was alone now. She was still having a smile on her face. Manik was staring at her beautiful smile and said to himself," Beautiful!" Nandini felt that someone is looking at her and she looked around and saw Manik staring at her. She also started staring at Manik. He was looking very cute and handsome as always in his messy yet classy hairstyle. This didn't go unnoticed by Cabir. They both were brought out of the trance when the teacher entered the class. Nandini was sitting alone today. Manik and Cabir, Mukti and Aliya, Dhruv and Rohan were sitting together. After sometime, Nandini was looking around and at the same time Dhruv also looked towards Nandini. Dhruv smiled at Nandini and she also smiled back. They were smiling at each other and Manik also saw this scene. His face expression turned angry and he broke the pencil which was in his hand.

Cabir: Manik baba kya hua aapko?

Manik didn't answer and he was still looking at Nandini and Dhruv smiling at each other. Cabir saw that he was angry because of Dhruv and Nandini smiling at each other.

The rest of the day was boring and now it was evening around 7 pm. Nandini was going towards the Music room and at the same time Manik was also going towards the music room. He was thinking about Nandini when he bumped into her. Nandini looked at him with a shocked expression and Manik got angry and he pulled her behind the music block.

Nandini: Manik yeh kaha leke ja rahe ho mujhe?

Manik: Nandini Murthy if you have forgotten let me remind you that I am your partner for the project.

Nandini: I remember. So why have you brought me here?

Manik: Because I want to discuss our project with you.

Nandini: Okay. Tell me!

Manik: So we will went at 7 pm every day and.

Nandini interrupted: 7pm? No ways. We will meet at 6:30 am.

Manik: What? Are you crazy? Mai itni subah nahi uthta.

Nandini: It's final. We will meet at 6:30 in the morning.

Manik: Dude get it straight. Manik Malhotra kisi ke liye subah nahi uthta.

Nandini: Dude, Nandini Murthy kisi ke liye classes ke bad wait nahi karti.

Manik and Nandini speak at the same time.

Manik: Nandini Murthy you got to change.

Nandini: Manik Malhotra you got to change.

They both look at each other with a pout and then look away folding their hands across their chests.

Nandini: Okay fine. At 7 in the evening.

Manik: That's like a good girl. See you tomorrow in the music room at 7.

Nandini made a face and left from there. Manik smirked and then left from there.

NEXT DAY IN THE EVENING

Nandini looked at her watch and it was 7:15 pm but Manik wasn't there.

Nandini: Arghhh kab aayega ye Monster.

Manik was standing behind her when she was speaking to herself and he heard that she called him a monster and he burst into laughter. Nandini turned around and made an angry face.

Nandini: You are late Mr. Malhotra.

Manik: It's just 7:15. And btw what did you just call me? Monster?

Nandini: Yes! Monster Manik.

Manik: Ohh! So I am a monster. (Saying this he came closer)

Nandini moved back: Yes you are.

Manik came closer and then pinned her to the wall and said: Then let me show you what a real monster can do.

Nandini tried to run away but he kept his hands on the wall. Nandini looked at him and he was staring into her eyes. Nandini also started staring into his eyes and they both were lost in their own world. Nandini kept her hands around his shoulders and Manik was shocked and slowly he lifted his hands and was about to hold her waist when Nandini ran away.

Nandini: Let's focus on our project.

Manik: Yeah.

They kept fighting and they could do nothing today. No one agreed with the other one.

Manik: Stop it! It's useless to argue with you.

Nandini: You stop it! Tum kuch sunte hi nahi ho.

Manik: Tum kuch nahi sunti ho!

Nandini: Listen. Let's make it simple. Let's keep our personal problems aside and try to work as a team. Let's try and be friends. (With this she moved her hand towards Manik)

Manik was shocked but then unknowingly moved his hand towards Nandini. Nandini smiled at Manik and Manik also smiled. After that they both left from there thinking about each other. Nandini was smiling and Manik smirked and said to himself,"It's not going to be easy for you Nandu."

Manik went to his room after having dinner and jumped on the bed. Cabir fell asleep as soon as they got back. Manik went towards his cupboard and took out a box with a lot of pictures in it. He came to his bed with that box and started looking at the pictures. He closed his eyes and saw a little girl in front of her wearing a pink coloured princess gown. The girl said," Manik how am I looking?" Manik said," Like an angel." The girl came near him and kissed his cheek and said," Thank you Manik." Manik opened his eyes with a smile on his face and said to himself," I miss you so much my angel. I wish you were here with us today."

CHAPTER 34 A

It was 8 am in the morning when Nandini woke up. She saw herself lying comfortably and her body was covered with a blanket. She saw that Manik was sleeping in a sitting position taking the support of the pillow and she was lying on his stomach holding his hand. She remembered about last night that Manik was lying in her lap and she was sitting taking the support of the pillow and they fell asleep in that position itself. She rubbed her eyes and gave a smile to Mukti who was already awake and looking at them. At the same time, Ccabir came there running and searching for Manik and was relieved to see her with Nandini. Nandini sat beside Manik and caressed his face gently and said," Manik wake up." Manik opened his eyes a bit and makinh some noises again closed his eyes just like a small kiddo. Nandini then started shaking him by holding his shoulders and the he woke up with a jerk. He saw Nandini in front of so he just pulled her into a hug and with eyes closed he said," Good morning." Nandini also hugged him back and said with a smile," Good Morning." She broke the hug and said feeling guilty," Manik you slept the whole night sitting! Why Manik?" Manik said," Because we fell asleep while talking. I was sleeping comfortably in your lap but you were sitting and sleeping. So when I woke up at night to have some water I saw your uncomfortable position so I just made you sleep comfortably." Nandini was just looking straight into his eyes with awe. She was about to say something when Mukti interrupted.

Mukti said while pulling Manik's cheeks: Aww! That is so cute.

Nandini just smiled looking at her while ManBir gave each other a confused look.

Manik: Are you fine Mukti? Tu kabse itni girly hogayi?

Cabir: Exactly!

Mukti sighed and replied: I just found your gesture cute. Isme girly kya hai?

Nandini: Guys chuck all this! We will reach in five minutes. So I will just freshen up a bit. And Manik you too freshen up.

Manik smirked: Nandini. Wait. You know na what I need after getting up!

Nandini widened her eyes as she knew what he was talking about. Till then Aliya and Navya also woke up. So she was feeling shy.

Nandini: Yes. I know that Manik. You need water right? (She eyed Manik to shut up)

Manik: Yes. PaNi. I want that. But I also want that tasty delicious thing.

Nandini: Han. Wo mai dungi badme. Not right now.

Cabir and Mukti:What?

Manik winked at Nandini and said innocently: Batao na Nandu!

Nandini looked here and there and then said: He wants... He wants juice. Hai na Manik?

Manik smirked again and Nandini gave him a I will kill you look' so he didn't say anything further and kept quiet.

Nandini: Manik if you want juice then get up fast or else I won't

Manik interrupted: Aree I am going na!

Manik left giggling and Nandini left a sigh of relief. After some time, everyone went inside the bus which would take them to the school. MaNan were sitting together holding hands and so did Cavya. Mukti and Aliya sat together and Dhruv sat with Abhi. Dhruv was listening songs putting on his headphones while Abhi was just thinking about Mukti and was staring at her. Meanwhile, Muklya were talking with each other. Aliya was noticing some changes in Mukti. She knew something was different, something new.

Aliya: Mukti is everything the same or anything has changed?

Mukti: What are you talking about?

Aliya: I mean you are behaving different.

Mukti: Different as in?

Aliya: I don't know. It's just that something is different about you. And you are wearing your old clothes. This girly ones!

Mukti smiled: Aliya, It's just that I am happy.

Aliya: So stay happy like this forever. I miss my old Mukti so much.

Mukti side hugged her and then looked towards Abhi who was just looking at her. A big smile appeared on her face. After an hour, everyone reached school and started walking towards their rooms. Nandini was with the girls and Manik was with the boys. They went to their respective rooms and rested for a while. Nandini got ready and wore a peach dress with green polka dots while Manik was wearing a dark blue jean shorts and a simple white t shirt. He was in the music room playing his guitar and he called Nandini there and she came to the music room as soon as possible. She saw him playing his guitar with passion and was totally lost in it. She just smiled and sat in front of him and at the same time he opened his eyes and saw her angelic face. He immediately stopped playing the guitar and hugged her tightly to which she also responded with equal force. After breaking the hug, Nandini cupped his face.

Nandini: Manik is your back hurting?

Manik: What? No. It's not. Why are you asking that?

Nandini: You were sleeping in such a uncomfortable position so I thought your back must be hurting.

Manik: That's good na! Agar tum waise soti to your back would have been hurting now. Acha hua I changed our positions.

Nandini: But Manik

Manik placed his fingers on her lips: Shh. I can't let anything happen to you. I can't let you go through any pain. I will bear as much as pains as possible just to make sure you are happy.

Nandini couldn't say anything. She just looked at him with her eyes full of love. Manik then placed a soft petal like kiss on her forehead and then looked into her eyes with passion and love. After a few moments, he was back to his mischievous mode. He moved his hands up and down on her shoulder and then caressed her waist.

Manik: Btw You were right about that tasty delicious thing. Your lips are actually juicy. The most delicious thing I have ever tasted.

Nandini blushed: Manik stop it na!

Manik chuckled: Okay! You can stop me if you let me taste that thing again.

Nandini just moved forwards without saying anything and placed her lips on his and started kissing him slowly. He also kissed her softly yet deeply and with love. After a few moments, they parted away and kept looking at each other. They spent some time together talking and laughing. Manik played guitar and Nandini just kept looking at him. After some time, they started moving towards the canteen to have lunch. When they were going to the canteen, Nandini remembered that she left her phone in the music room itself. So she told Manik to go and she will get her phone and join them soon. Manik agreed and told her to come soon. Nandini started walking towards the music room and taking her phone she started walking towards the canteen but she bumped into someone and her phone fell down. He was a tall guy who was wearing a blue jeans, white t shirt with a navy blue jacket. He picked up her phone and saw the picture of her and Manik. Nandini snatched her phone from his hand and was about to go when that guys held her hand and stopped her.

The guy: Hey I am sorry. I didn't see you.

Nandini: It's okay. Leave my hand.

They guy left her hand immediately and Nandini was about to leave when he again stopped her by coming in front of her. At the same time, Mukti saw all this sitting in the canteen and told everyone," Guys look there. Who is that guy? Is he troubling Nandini?" Listening to Nandini's name Manik immediately looked up and saw that guy trying to block Nandini's way.

The guy: Btw I am Aryamann. Aryamann Khanna. And I am sorry.

Nandini gave a fake smile: I said it's okay. Now can I go?

Aryamann: Hey hey wait! What is the name of this beautiful girl?

Nandini was pissed off and was about to say something when Manik came there with his eyes full of anger and stood beside Nandini.

Manik: This beautiful girl's name is Nandini. And just back off!

Aryamann: Okay bro! Chill!

Manik: Just remember our names. I am Manik Malhotra and she is Nandini Murthy. Don't you dare mess up with us!

With this he dragged Nandini with him. He was very angry at that time but his hold on Nandini's hand was gentle. They sat on the table and started having lunch. Manik was very angry and didn't speak anything and no one dared to speak anything to him as they knew their friend's anger was like a volcano ready to erupt! After having lunch, Manik walked out of the canteen and Nandini followed him. They came near the music wing and sat on the stairs. Nandini kept her hand on Manik's hand and he looked towards her.

Nandini: Manik please calm down!

Manik: How can I calm down Nandini?

Nandini: Manik he didn't do anything. Just forget about it na. Please

Manik: No I won't! He tried to touch you and now I am going to kill him.

Nandini clutched his hands: Manik we will do something about it. But right now forget about it na.

Manik: But Nan

Nandini smiled: Please Manik for me! Calm down na!

Manik kept looking at her and said: Your. Your smile does that anyway.

Nandini smiled even more and crashed on his chest and he wrapped his arms around her caressing her back and her hair. He kissed her hair and said," I love you Nandini." Nandini kissed on his chest and said," I love you more my chocolate boy." Manik chuckled hearing that and Nandini broke the hug and smiled at him.

Manik: Chocolate boy?

Nandini: Yes! Because chocolate is so yummy and I love it. And you too

Manik smirked: So you think I taste good?

Nandini bit her lower lip and shyly said: Yes! Too good.

Manik smiled looking at her shy face and just pulled her again into a hug. They both stayed in that position for a while and then joined their friends. They spent the rest of the day with each other and then at night after having dinner everyone went to their respective rooms. Manik was near the window staring at the stars while Nandini also was doing the same. Suddenly her phone rang flashing the name of Manik. She immediately picked up.

Nandini: Manik!

Manik: Hi princess. Don't you wanna sleep?

Nandini: Yes! But tumse bat kare bina kaise soti?

Manik smiled: Hmm.. So are you missing me?

Nandini smirked: Nai to! Who said I was missing you?

Manik: Oh! Accha! Then bye I will talk with some other girl.

Nandini: Which girl? Just tell me her name Manik.

Manik chuckled: Haha. I was kidding my jealous girl.

Nandini: I am not jealous. Okay?

Manik smiled: Okay. Okay. So you might be sleepy na! Then go to sleep. We will meet tomorrow.

Nandini smiled: Okay! Good Night Manik.

Manik: My good night kiss?

Nandini placed the phone in front of her lips and said: Muahh!

Manik smiled: That's like my girl.

Nandini: So good night Manik. I love you

Manik: Good night angel. I love you more.

Both smiled and cut the call and went to sleep peacefully dreaming about each other.

CHAPTER 23 A

RECAP: Manik reads Dhruv's book and finds out that Dhruv has some feelings for Nandini.

Manik was shattered. He didn't know what to do. "I THINK I AM FALLING FOR NANDINI" this sentence again and again started coming in his mind. He and his best buddy had fallen for the same girl. That too not any other girl but her childhood bestie Nandini. Manik went to the music room and started playing his guitar. He said to himself," Dhruv loves Nandini. He has never fallen for any one before. How can I take away his happiness for my happiness! Pehle kabhi Dhruv ko kisi ke liye feelings nahi aayi. It is his first love. I can't make him sad. And he is the best guy one can ever meet. I am a monster and I don't deserve an angel like Nandini. I will stay away from her. But I love... no no Manik Malhotra get a grip of yourself. She is my best friend and it will remain that way only." Meanwhile, Dhruv was very upset because Manik had read his book. He very well knew his buddy. He was sure that he will never consider his happiness and he will always think about his friends first. He said to himself," Omg! What have I done! Ab Manik pata nahi kya kar baithega. I have to talk with him before he does something wrong." He got up and went to his room. He talked with Cabir and he found out that Manik was not there. He searched for him everywhere. He was not even in the music room. He was very scared now. He didn't know what to do and he can't even share this with anyone. Meanwhile, Nandini was in her room studying. Suddenly she realised that Manik was upset because of her. She went out for talking with him. He was nowhere to be seen so she went behind the music block. There he was sitting on the stairs. Nandini sat beside him and held his hand. Manik looked at her with a blank expression. Nandini was shocked to see him like this.

Nandini: Manik. I am so sorry.

Manik jerked her hand and moved away from her. Nandini became sad because of this. She moved closer and kept her head on his shoulder. Manik closed his eyes and smiled.

Nandini: Manik do you trust me?

Manik: Yes I trust you.

Nandini: Jo aaj subah hua usey bhul jao. You don't wanna know about that secret. Jab time aayega tum samajh jaoge ki maine tumhe kyu nahi bataya. Okay?

Manik: okay. ( Manik smiled unknowingly and was about to pull her closer but then he realised what he was doing so he stood up and turned around.)

Manik with tears: Nandini I will see you later. Bye

Nandini went closer and was about to hug him from back but he left without even looking at her. She knew something was wrong with her. She went towards her room thinking about Manik's behaviour and was very upset.

IN THE EVENING

Manik came back to his room. Cabir noticed that something was wrong with him. Firstly he thought that he was upset because of Nandini but then he realised that he can't be so upset because of such a small thing. Cabir asked him what was wrong with him. Manik thought that he shouldn't tell anyone about his decision so he just said that he was upset because of Nyonika. After some time, Manik and Cabir went towards the canteen to have dinner. At the same time, Nandini and Navya were also walking towards the canteen. Four of them reached towards the canteen at the same time. Nandini was in front of Manik and Navya was in front of Cabir. Manik and Nandini had an eye lock. Cabir and Navya smiled at each other looking at them. Nandini gave a cute smile to Manik and at the same time, Manik saw Dhruv in the canteen and he ignored Nandini and went inside giving an angry look. Nandini was shocked and at the same time Cabir and Navya were also shocked. Nandini went behind him with a sad face. Cabir came towards Navya.

Cabir: Aaj subah to romance kar rahe the aur ab kya hogaya?

Navya: Pata nahi Cabir.

Cabir: Manik ka mood theek nahi tha aaj. Kuch toh karna padega.

Navya: Han. I have an idea.

Cabir: Bolo na fir Madhubala ji.

Navya said something in his ear and they both smiled looking at each other and hi-fived.

Cabir: Wah Madhubala! Intelligent ha!

Navya: Wo to pehle se hu.

Cabir: Hahaha. Chalo abhi!

They both went inside and sat with others. Manik and Nandini were in front of each other. Abhi was sitting with Nandini and Navya was on other side. Mukti was sitting beside Manik and Dhruv on other side of Manik. Cabir was sitting between Navya and Mukti and Aliya was sitting between Abhi and Dhruv. Everyone was talking and laughing except Manik and Nandini. Manik so wanted to be near Nandini but he couldn't and Nandini was upset thinking about his behaviour. Nandini looked at Manik and realised he was also looking at her. She smiled but suddenly Manik turned away his face ignoring her which made her upset. Dhruv was noticing all this and felt very bad. Nandini looked down and Abhi noticed this. Abhi went near Nandini.

Abhi: Kya hua baby doll?

Nandini: Nothing Abhi!

Abhi: Tum kis se chupa rahi ho? I saw that.

Nandini looked at him and was looking very upset.

Nandini: I don't know what is wrong with him. He is ignoring me.

Abhi kept his hand around her shoulder and said: Don't worry baby doll. Everything will be fine.

Nandini smiled looking at him. Manik saw this and then he looked at Abhi's hand on her bare shoulder. He was fuming with anger looking at them and when Nandini looked at him he again turned away his face. After some time, everyone started moving out of the canteen. Navya took Nandini with her and Cabir took Manik with her. Aliya dragged Dhruv with her. Now Mukti and Abhi were left alone. They both were walking but no one spoke for some time.

Abhi: Can I ask you something?

Mukti: yeah! Sure

Abhi: Why don't you smile?

Mukti looked at him: What? I smile. Who said that I don't?

Abhi smiled: I mean a real smile.

Mukti: It's none of your business.

Mukti stormed out from there and Abhi ruffled his hair and smiled looking at her. Meanwhile, Aliya and Dhruv were talking in some corner.

Aliya: Dhruv What is wrong with you? Why do think that she is not interested in you?

Dhruv: Aliya! Please stop it. I said I don't want to.

Aliya: Please Dhruv. Mujhe batao kya hua?

Dhruv: It's nothing.

Saying this he went away from there and then Aliya also left from there. Meanwhile,

Navya: Nandu! Please help me. Waha store room me mera scarf gir gaya ha shayad aur mujhe andhere se darr lagta hai. Can you please bring it for me?

Nandini: Navya.. Umm. Okay I will bring it. Just wait here.

She went inside and Navya hid in the corner when Manik and Cabir came there.

Manik: What the hell Cabir! Store room ke pas kya kar rahe hai hum.

Cabir: Manik baba go inside. I have some work there and ya I will be back in 2 mins tab tak tu andar ja.

Manik went inside and it was dark. As soon as he walked inside Cabir locked the door from outside. Navya came there and smiled at him. Navya just hugged him in happiness. Cabir was shocked but then he also hugged her lightly. Navya broke the hug realising what she was doing. There was an awkward silence between them when suddenly Harshad came there.

Harshad: Navya!

Navya: Kya hai Harshad?

Harshad: I know you have no interest in talking with me. And trust me I also don't have any interest in talking with you.

Cabir: So why don't you get lost Harshad?

Harshad: You stay out of this Cabir! Anyways I don't have time to waste. So Navya, we have to perform together so kal se we will practice in the morning. Raghav sir is strict for his projects so please don't deny. Come to the music room at 7 am. Bye

Navya: Okay. Bye.

Navya was sad because of Harshad and Cabir noticed this. He kept his hand around her shoulder trying to console her.

Cabir: Don't worry.

Navya: Hmm..

Meanwhile, Manik walked inside and saw someone standing there. He couldn't see the face of that person so he walked towards it. As he moved closer Nandini was moving backwards and soon they bumped into each other. Nandini turned around and saw Manik. Manik was shocked to see Nandini there.
