In our life, we meet a lot of people. Some stay, some go. Some teach a lesson, some hurt us, some we end up hurting.
Now let me first start of by saying I am not a party samthaan fan. I am a manik fan. Sort of.
But I can't understand why today everyone is bashing his character. Everyone, in life, meets a lot of people who we think are perfect for us.
Same goes for.manik. manik Malhotra dated a girl, aaliya.
Fine. Now as a teenager no one really looks for a life long commitment. At least not in 7-10th grade. Hardly anyone does.
As a teenager, dating someone is mostly based on looks, mutual attraction, in short superficial things that do not really matter in the long run.
So for manik, aaliya was his really close friend who he cared about. There was another girl, vibha, who he thought was perfect for him. She challenged him (just like nandani does now, mind you) she lectured him, she infuriated him.
But it was not love. It was just attraction. It was just manik- the teenager who felt that maybe they could be together.
We all have once felt that way. What if? I personally have.
And I love that guy but I know that although he seems perfect for me, he isn't the one. I am yet to meet the one who will truely love me. Sometimes, we forget that thin line between love and friendship.
Aaliya... I guess they CVS are very smart as they showed manik's casual approach towards his long serious relationship with aaliya.
And all those who are saying that manik must not preach about trust, I am sorry hut he never cheated aaliya or nandini.
He wanted to be with vibha, but he never cheated on aaliya. Vibha knew that manik does not really love her or aaliya, but she figured it is wise for manik to be with aaliya as she loved manik and vibha did not.
And manik accepted in today's episode that he was wrong. That he was wrong in thinking that he and vibha had anything more going on. He said he now realized that true love is different from just caring about someone.
Manik, as a child saw a very ugly face of a woman in his mother. He liked vibha but he could not take it when she challenged him. He cared about aaloya but could not believe that she didn't trust him when he never once betrayed her, even when he wanted to.
It was nandini who challenged him and still he kept going back to her. He was helpless. He could not stay away from her even when she infuriated him. Or even lectured him. She didn't trust him. Yet he cannot stay away from her.
Meeting vibha after so.many years and hugging her. How is that cheating? We all friends in our lives that are special and irreplaceable. He cared and loves vibha. But those emotions are different from the ones he holds for his nandu. He is crazy about nandu. Don't you get it?
Remembering his first kiss with aaliya? Yeah that was weird.
But I am sorry if I sound wrong to some people, but when I met my ex, who I am friends with, we were discussing our dating days. And it was funny. We weere laughing our ass off. About how we were so clumsy and awkward. We are friends.
Doesn't mean I am cheating on someone. We were just having a good laugh.
Manik's character has not been destroyed. You all need to stop acting like Hus life revolves around nandini.
He has other girl friends too who he cares about and loves.
Nandini is just extra special.
So breathe everyone.
