I'm not a regular participant on the forum but after witnessing all the commotion, I have a few words to write.
Firstly. yes I agree with those who feel betrayed about how Manik's character was butchered completely just for a merger episode, about how we had to see Manik finding another girl so special when it is Manan forever and also about the fact that Nandini was not mentioned or remembered by Manik...and the list goes on. I was outright infuriated after watching the manik and v scenes and I too vented out but then mellowed down after reading the positive posts..
Come on let's not forget that this is a tv show and that it is being controlled by the so called super powers. Fab 5 was roped in just for a mere promotion and as per what the"theinsider" posted I think the ky2 cvs had no say in the direction(though i feel they should have fought for it).
So let us all forget about the merger epis ( atleast i'm trying my level best) and start afresh. I have loved manan and would like to continue doing so.. We are all here because we love the show and I know it is difficult to digest such heartbreaking flaws by the directors but why not consider it to be like any other blooper and move on..
For people who are emotionally invested I know how it feels but I think I'm recovering and hopefully url will too. Thanks to some of the postive posts, that i feel I'm back on track rooting for Manan.
Sometimes we have to accept such mistakes by the channel heads or whoever they are.
So here's to all who wants to forget the nightmare and move on..😃
