That was ADORABLE! Thanks for reminding me! I found it SO cute even when I watched it but forgot to mention it...Niti makes Nandu's innocence so effortless...and innocence but not DUMB...cuz just seconds before she was CONVINCED that Manik is lying to trick her😆...but ultimately she can't hold out on the WHAT IF he's really hurt? And can she EVER bear him in pain? Even the THOUGHT of it is enough to make her doubt her own surety that she knows his tricks by now😆

He doesn't move his eyes away from her. It's like he's looking right through her eyes into her soul, every bare corner, declaring all of her as his. That building of anticipation, that black furling passion in his eyes that reflects in the setting of his jaw, in the stark purpose gleaming in his eyes, the ferocious silence that's consumed by nothing but her bated breaths, and the tremors his eyes are creating in her skin, the ripples in her stomach, the goosebumps on her arms.

The way his eyes doesn't leave her for a moment, so thoroughly conquered, invaded, no place to go right in that moment.

and the promise that's so so fatal right in that moment. She'll have nowhere to go. She won't find a place where he won't be there to have her, she'd always be so his, the promise that he doesn't need to use fingers to mark her, he does that with every breath, he'll do that with his whole soul and body, he'll always own her the way she owns him.

That's the thing, she is not dumb but its so endearing because of her love for him, she is willing to take that risk of being played for a fool because nothing is more important than him being alright. If this isn't love then what is? I really also love the actress playing Nandu's chachi(she was in DDEJ), the character is so OTT but the actress never plays it OTT, the comic element translates effectively and is not jarring.

WORD about the lady playing Chachi...I used to love her character in DDEJ too...she was the caretaker of the family or something, right? She's always naturally bubbly and endearing...but as Chachi toh she is super cute...especially with Manik😆...itna toh woh kabhi Nandu ke saath smile nahin karta jitni grins Chachi ke liye reserved😆


And yes yeh pyar nahin toh aur kya hai...in the end it is that love they both have for each other that wins out over any moment of doubt or tricks or heartbreaks...it is that love that keeps them running to each other no matter what their minds may protest.
