So the new spoiler says that Manik will condemn Nandini and blame her for falling prey to Nyo manipulations. Seriously Manik?
And if this spoiler plays out exactly as it is then will there be innumerable posts made questioning his queer conduct and his lack of faith in Nandini? His lack of confidence on Nandini's reasons behind her actions? Question his disappointment in Nandini's ability to protect him and shine for him Hamesha? Will anyone make posts to question him on what exactly it was that he wanted Nandini to say in front of the magistrate? Nandini said "I am not sure" << that does not mean she called Manik a murderer. It was the seed of doubt that Nyonika's edited video planted in her mind. Also, like my friend Sadhana so sharply pointed out, even if Nandini had straight out answered a No to magistrate's question (to save Manik) still it would have back fired on Nandini and MaNan only because if Nyonika can submit fake reports showing Nandini's conscious state to witness Soha's death, on which Manik's bail hinged then that same Nyonika could also have proven Nandini's testimony wrong by claiming that Nandini deliberately tried to fake her report. Nandini was only unconscious and in no state to provide witness account like she has done. Then what would have happened? Nandini's integrity would have been in the balance and then what would have Manik done? Again blame Nandini on getting fooled so easily by Nyonika?
Manik lashing out at Nandu while still in dark about Nyonika's manipulation could have been more digestible than this...
Darn it!! He will know it's Nyo and still hate Nandu for lack of trust ??? What even..!! I am at a loss of words now and to think that people are busy demanding justifications of Nandini's words in front of the magistrate. Surely she doesn't deserve this but then Manik is always let off the hook easily, on account of his lonely damaged childhood which led to volatility which in turn led to impulsiveness which again led to temper issues, followed by saviour complex leading to insecurity and inferiority complex(from DHruv) followed by lack of ability to trust.
Anyway, love MaNan but isn't Nandni going to get any sort of break from this heartache and this crucifying that comes her way every time with multiple blames? Even if her character shows regression once, then the same goes for Manik as well because both of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.
During musicana, Manik sacrificed MaNan for his buddy, targeted Nandini's most raw nerve possible and made his lie believable by mauling that raw nerve in the most disgusting way ever. Even then, surprisingly Nandini's trust was questioned and was assumed by both Manik and the viewers to have fallen short. It's only her, who should have not believed Manik's words, should have caught on his words when he said "Tou Rok lo mujhe", through all the tears blurring her vision and ears ringing with the humiliating words that Manik had dished out.
What trust is this that is being so fussed over about and the lack of which is thrown in Nandini's face by Manik at ever critical turn in their life? As if trust comes out of thin air,eh?
Trust is something that needs to be worked upon, that needs to be built around experiences that a couple goes through in different settings & circumstances at different stages of life. The trust that was spoken and claimed between MaNan right from that start is what one AIMS for in a relationship. The leap of faith that Nandini took during their first date, it's the kind of faith, blind one that she has and wishes to preserve on Manik,Hamesha.
Trust doesn't come as a by product of falling in love, it doesn't come by spending time together or being together always. When we fall in love, we have faith in our partner but only when one goes through the thick and thin of what life throws at us, do we begin to piece the foundation of trust, brick by sweet brick. Faith comes with will and trust with experience.
And to know all along that it's Nandini who came to Mumbai from Manglore. She is the naive one in this relationship. She is the one who is called a behnji by Alia and mukti. She is the one whose innocence amuses Fab 5 when she sit's down to play a game of "Never have I ever" with them. She is a different girl, one of the many reasons that make her so much more special to Manik (as claimed by him during fab5 photo shoot sequence). She is the artless one, devoid of any upper circle sophisticated hierarchy knowledge and ignorant of the twisted ideology that has formed the basis of Manik's upbringing. She is trusting, not having been constantly surrounded ever in her life, by cunning people who will take advantage of her every fear if presented with an opportunity. <<< THIS, if I am not mistaken, is Manik's world. He is the one who knows the ins and outs of it, who recognises manipulation from 100yards. He is the one who is used to dealing with the twisted way his mother's mind works and takes it in his stride. He is the one who has developed this ability to take Nyonika and her underhanded tricks head on. He should be the one protecting and supporting Nandini, holding her hand to defy Nyonika and throwing her manipulation back in her face. He should be the one to show, hence prove to Nandini that he is indeed coming free , albeit gradually, from the deceitful and suffocating web of his mother.
But No, instead he is lambasting Nandini for falling prey to Nyonika's manipulations? Remember Manik, you yourself said "Mothers shape our lives" when Nandini described her Mother's firefly theory to you? Don't you see how differently Nandini is shaped? It's you Manik, who has come so far along the path of love, without even knowing your girl this much? Her innocence, her trusting nature, her ability to see goodness in everyone, her non-judgemental nature, her stickler for truth demeanour is what endears her to you and still you censuring her for all those things? For somehow failing you if she refused to lie?
Manik, why did you then, sit so confidently in front of the magistrate when Nandini was called in as the sole witness to testify for what she hadn't even seen? It was you yourself who held her unconscious form in your hands and rescued her. Why didn't it strike you as unusual that Nandini who was unconscious amidst the raging flames, can be asked to testify and provide witness account? Didn't you have the balls to question the magistrate as to why was Nandini getting asked a question which she obviously wouldn't know the answer to?
Why didn't you once even think of the CCTV cameras in the store room? You sure treat SPACE as your own home. You strut around as THE Manik Makhotra, the all knowing. You have so much say around that all college guards stand in fear of your orders. Surely you know SPACE like the back of your hand. Why then didn't you object to Nandini testifying and why didn't you think of the CCTV footage?
Expecting Nandini to defeat Nyonika at her manipulations in her very first round is like expecting a 7th grader Manik to single handedly wrestle out of Nyonika's locking him up inside his room, ha!
Really Manik? Is defeating Nyonika at her own game and defying her, seeing through her deceitful web of ruthlessness so very easy? Really Manik?
Phew!! Rant over, I am feeling light now. For Nandini, I say bring it on because her purity is like real gold, will stand the test of fire.
