So to say she has never done anything is wrong.

is it right to say she sacrificed everything for her friends or she sacrificed everything for Manik only... in the start one could see that she didnt particularly really care about everyone except as a way to be always close to Manik. did she really forego her brother for Fab5 or really for Manik mainly?
i'm still in doubt for this

She is confused , angry because her break-up to her seemed more about her fault, which is the case but from where she see it , she was right Manik did have feelings for Nandini, which we as viewers might refute but for her it's the case. She has moved on but somewhere to see your ex and current guy all being connected to Nandini would speak to the insecure girl who has never ventured out of her comfort zne and is still maturing. She spoke a lot in anger, which any teen will do at her age. She is justified in her behaviour , while it might not be tactful and sensible one.
Mukti understands her friends, she is needy and doesn't want anyone to encroach their family set up. She has been non-judging about Cabir, was the one to first go to Manik during the Manjha sequence when she thought Noyonika was messing with him. As messed up she was, one word about Cabir she forget her worries and went to him. Yes she needs to learn to let their friendship be and trust in it.
you pointed something interesting here, but she may feel cheated and said a lot things in anger, and i accept her feelings, but the way she exploded unfortunately does show she hasnt really moved on completely from Manik... you can ask any girl who have had a broken relationship once, i'm sure they'd agree on this point, but like you she's still a teenager which i sometimes forget😆
but i'd still repeat that it's only post break-up that she really understood and came close to other members in Fab5.
about Mukti: unfortunately her character is still unclear, and like i said above the best thing she did was talking with Aliya despite what Harshad did, that was something commendable in itself.
These kids are struggling with deep issues, they all are changing and while we might feel their friendship is dysfunctional , this has kept them all sane , including Manik. At 19 , they will learn .

@bold: agree and that's why we all watch this show to watch these character grow, cry( which they are doing too much lately unfortunately), fall and stand up again

@TM - Alya plotted with fab5 against her brother for Cabir . She always berated him for Mukti . Manik or not , the girl has always been tested by a dilemma between her brother and her friends. She is an orphan , have had very sheltered lifestyle with fab5 indulging her and no contact with outside world. She is bound to crack. Ofcourse she lacked tact, but in anger most people don't practice it. She slapped Dhruv and from here her journey will begin about the much needed introspection.
They are crying because unlike earlier times , we view their individual lives and see their issues . The invincibility have given way to their vulnerabilities.

Just one word from Manik not being well, even all the fights they all rushed to him. This is them.

Well I am new viewer of this show and hv seen almost all the episodes in last one week or so...
the relationship between these 5 friends has drastically changed since Nandini came into picture... the closeness of the initial 20-25 ep between these friends is missing and they are drifting apart...and in the process they are growing up...

Let's not forget at the end of the day they are only 19 so i would say...

FAB 5 is the group of insecure friends trying to fight the world with the help of each other...😊

First of all...I love to read your posts but I've been kinda away from the forum, so i guess I've missed them. Everyone has their own opinion but there are a few people who make me rethink my point of view and you are one of them. Total Compliment. 😊

Back to Fab 5, I never thought that Alya and Mukti were evil incarnate but I wasn't fond of their characters. I guess I wasn't with any one of the Fab 5 characters. Little by little, they all changed my mind or are in the process of ...actually.
But what I don't like is that while the rest of the group is shown to have a heart, and feel for other people and have a basic sense of humanity towards other people, Mukti and Alya don't seem to. If it pertains to them, and their friends cum family, they care but otherwise Nandani's or someone else's life holds no importance in front of their singing careers? That is what I have a hard time assimilating.

I watch this show for it's overall concept and not just Manan ( I do love them the most though). So, at the end of the day...I like to see what friendship really can be about. And yes, all friendships are different, so I may just be projecting too much of my own personal experiences here. But I can't seem to understand why Alya is okay with being friends with Manik and being in a relationship with Dhruv...yet it's not okay if Manik moves on. I had my own reservations in the beginning about where I stand when it comes to Manik and Alya's r/ship, but over time, MY head and heart tells me that it's always been Alya trying to hang on to Manik. Even when he had clearly broken up, she wanted to get back together during Diwali ( when she was getting ready, she said something like "how will you resist?) So yes, they may have been in a relationship for 7 yrs, but most of it would have been being friends or physical attraction or just the fact that they've been together so long. I do understand that she feels cheated, but it works both ways - Just like TRUST. She couldn't trust Manik...if it wasn't going to be Nandani, it was going to be someone else. There is no cure for insecurity or distrust. It either is or isn't.

This brings me to another discontent for the show. I wish they would show the other peoples back stories too other than just Maniks. Maybe that'll help me connect better with Mukti and Alya.
On an aside, Alya has never been forced to do what she does, but every time she is upset, she gets on a tirade about breaking Fab 5. If they mean so much to her, how can she be so inconsiderate about their feelings. Yes, she is young. All of them are and all of them are battling their own demons in their own way, then why should one or two of them have to bear the total weight of keeping the group sane and intact.

I don't mean to write an essay here, but I just can't seem to connect with the characterization. I know it's a TV show, but it's realistic one to me. Yes, the dramatization of situations are present, but the basic concept of friendship is still the same.
If all of them have been friends for so long, why is it that they don't understand each other? Why are there things they don't know about each other?
