May be he is here for Navya. I mean not like a pairing up or something. But a person to show her a way of life. She needs to build up a career too. It was her aspiration earlier and now she has to do it to support herself.

Why another guy in Nandini's life. Already Manik and Nandini are growing stronger in their relationship and understanding each other. So bringing another person might not make sense for them to get more closer.

Its not like he is introduced as a parallel lead or something. He might be a catalyst for MaNan's bond to grow stronger in all situations. Career wise also.

It would be good if he were to show a way of life to Navya and we will get to see something about Dhruv and Rishabh's attacks also. That Star symbol and Nandu's father's pen should have some significance. Manik saw that pen glow and he was about to discuss with Nandini on this before that Musicana event.

May be thats why they are making the show one hour.
