Right now all I can think is Boxy stole my girl. . You Missy, will pay in kind. But for now tacklehugs , because I need to smother you two with love. This was sexy writing , with a lot of in-depth character penetration- Doc, cheating brings out the best in you.

Real food for thought this post and I be too lazy to turn the mental gears right now😳

But I needed to fangirl over this brilliant piece of writing for a bit and also give you both a 🤗

P.S: I can now happily absolve myself of all guilt with regard to being the 'other' woman in doc's marriage.. Clearly this is a free for all, when even the wedding photographer makes out with not just one but BOTH the brides😈

Doc I love how your posts compel me to stop and think for a good moment, even when I'm half-asleep. And since Vidya (@BI: I'm very FOCUSED at my stalking job😎) always comes up with explanations I LOVE, it's no wonder this post has turned out to be so, so beautiful.

Nandini's survival decision was to leave Manik. But the need ceased to exist once the threat was no longer there. It's a perfect logic as to why Nandini is not being able to actually let it go and acting all-possessive of Manik even after she had walked away. I wonder though, does it mean in future whenever a threat comes either Manik or Nandini would give in to their survival instincts again? Or that wouldn't happen once their relationship grows and gets the base it now lacks?

I'm half asleep so don't mind my words not making any sense. You two are terrific together Doc

@ So Naley the important point here is when Nandu was coping with her parents death (conjecture) she was still a child hence her emotional stability was provided by her Ams who probably helped her evolve as a socially intelligent being. But the next stress is when she is an adolescent and its her own intelligence,thought process which would ensure her survival . Boxy has brought that out so well in the references.

@Boxy a true privilege. Enjoyed this so much and I kept my word. I loved how you elucidated the importance of establishing social intelligence as a teenager by contrasting it to her coping mechanism when she lost her parents. It was alluded to in the initial draft but you wrote it so well.

Out of Lot in S.P.A.C.E Nandini always seemed to be the one who is mature and has a better understanding of situations but when it comes to perceiving and managing emotions we cant say the same

after her parents death she had her Ams but in SPACE she had to survive on her own, Every time she had been pushed to limits she came back strongly .she survived - The survival instinct,Since u mentioned Darwin this came into my mind

"Those with a propensity to survive have a propensity to survive"

The boy who stormed into her life is nothing less than turbulent in every way.This boy made her strong but at the same time somewhere deep down he's her weakness too

coming to being toxic

Its natural human instinct that when we perceive something as a threat to we tend to go for defensive mechanism,here when Nandini perceived their relation and they being together as threat to them not even to her ..a threat to manik because according to her, she being stubborn led him not to go to doc and she thinks herself to be the reason for a condition where Manik could have almost lost his hand.. so she backed off

but like you said human mind😆 way too complex

once the threat is removed she back to her tigress mode😆 and life tIme with manik she will get better and better with her EI😆
