I agree about DhruNi.. I even miss ManRuv.. 'Ladki ka punch kaisa laga' is among my favourite scenes.. It seems they are not able to keep a balance now.

I wish they hadn't cut off Manik's sarcastic grin at the end of this bit...that always cracks me up whenever I watch this scene😆


Another fav. Manik-Dhruv scene of mine is after the time Manik sings the "Kyun" song to calm down Dhruv from an attack and when he's at Dhruv's place and ranting about how he HATES Nandu so SO much, Dhruv comments about the fact that he's never seen him talk THIS passionately about ANYONE😆

There were many layers of meaning to that scene...true that

1) Him just KNOWING she will somehow find him and come fuss over his hand...the way he pulled her without turning back to sit down next to him is one of my fav. bits in that scene.

I knoww...when he did that, i had such a big grin on my face and I wasn't even alone, which I am always while watching

My sister said 'seriously?' out loud

2) Nandu immediately holding his hands and looking at the cuts on it but not directly asking him how he got those...instead asking him if he hurt Harshad...again I love how they didn't need to go about how the situation must have happened...she just wanted to know if he did his usual self-destructive stuff...and Manik was giving her grumpy looks in response😆...

yeah...in that part...when she asked him if he'd hurt hurshad...for a split second, Manik had "Damn! I got caught" wala expression then "I don't know"...just like a kid

3) The bit where he scoffs and says, "Look who's talking...tumhein kya zaroorat thi hero banne ki?" and when Nandu responds that she was saving her friend so he has to retort with a, "And I was saving MY..."..."my friend"😆...I loved how they rounded it up and somewhere it was understood that both of them were protecting their loved ones...albeit in different ways...but this is how they do it always.

And when Nandu said "Friend", he was like "in your language"...so, i was wondering, If nandini didn't bring up being friends in the first place, what name would he have given to their relationship...she is his shining star, but would he have called her his girl friend?

4) The little pause before Manik decides he wants to hold her hand...just cuz😆...so simple, so natural...I love how their scenes aren't contrived in execution.

This is was the best part of the epi...he was testing till where he could go on...and like u said, the execution was the best...i've never seen a couple on TV, who were this natural

I actually like the whole friendship theme in this show...everyone was each other's family...though i miss their one-one talks, I'm soo happy with MaNan's present phase that I've decided not to complain

Dhruv came across as really sensible then.. I really liked this guy a lot! & Utkarsh was really good for a newcomer then..

I completely agree...I like the central friendship theme in the show as well...it may not be perfectly developed but I like the generally understated/casual vibe to it...and I do miss the one on one Manik-Dhruv perceptive talk sessions too but I'm ok with the way things are right now vis a vis MaNan.

Only thing I want to see is the wrapping up for the Soha track and exploring previous issues...like Dhruv's attacks, the Harshad-Manik past etc. etc.

i kind of miss old harshad ..he was the one who was always spot on about manik's hidden feelings..he used to always succeed in provoking manik like no one else...but post musicana his character went down hill...going by abhishek's interview looks like they changed the plot ..but i want that harshad back...
