This has got nothing to do with KYY. But I think as a community and as a forum and the fact that so many of us spend so much time on this forum I just felt like sharing this article

KYY forum is definitely one of the tamer forums but the internet is a vile place and India Forums is no less. We think just because we sit on the other side of a monitor, we can say and do anything. Whether it's insults towards fellow members or insults towards celebrity, we think it's cool. And I'm using we here because, I'm very much guilty as charged.

I've always considered my self a fairly funny person and so I tend to well make fun a lot. I'm very much guilty of poking fun at members or hating on celebrities. Since we can't see the people we insult we don't think our words can have that much of an effect.

Words matter. Whatever you type a real person is reading it on the other side. They have real feelings and real emotion.. imagine if your favourite cousin says they hate KYY are you going to shove insults down them for hours and hours? If you did that, people would think you're mental. The principle holds.

This is not just for members this is for celbs and any one online ever. We're all real people here. And each one of us, matter.

Next time you want to type out a mean comment think. I know what you're thinking, bolt you're such a buzz kill. Having fun and being mean can be mutually exclusive things. How? You do it already. In real life.(I'm assuming ofc that you're all nice people) Why is the internet any different?

So if I've ever hurt anyone with my stupidity, I apologize. Stupid bolt is stupid sometimes. I'm just a kid with a laptop and lots of time. I do dumb things. And I think I represent a large section of all of you.

This post isn't aimed at anyone. It's not triggered by anything. I happened to read this article literally two seconds ago and I just wanted to share it with you guys.

I try, I honestly try not to get personal towards any living person, actor or forum mate . Unless I share a good rapport with them, the forum mates I mean. And I believe I do a good job at that because whatever our IP address be, we are all humans. Haan..characters ke baare mein I go a bit crazy xD

Nice post Bolt. I am no moral police and hardly a worthy person to point out flaws since I am so flawed myself but I sincerely believe that the rule "treat others like you want yourselves to be treated" should be applied in all fields of life, internet included.

That is just SAD.. I don't know what else to say as I have mixed feelings about this and if I think too much I might go judgemental on Internet trollers and weak victims!! Well been there on the receiving end (even in this forum for "likes" & "typos") but yea moved on and reported those posts!! [:p]

I think we tend to forget that there are not many thick skins out there, and yes internet can be a vile place.
I have myself been guilty at times so I should try to control myself, that's why I tend to use humor at times.

After reading this article, I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.

omfg this is so heartbreaking that Idek what to say ^ I simply agree with everything you said. We should always realize that people have feelings and just because they're not like us, or are not what we like to associate as "sociable" "our type" or what we deem perfect in our opinion, we shan't ever hurt them or think they're below us or abuse. like they say look at yourself before saying anything to others. nobody's perfect. Be respectful..

On another note, what's happening in this world? i just can't even. :(
