@Dee - Manik is usually resigned , he offers himself to her as the bargaining chip. They both know that anger doesn't faze either of them. His real struggle to break free will be when he is a t a happier and peacefully place with Nandu. She is the contrast to whatever Noyonika represents in his life.
P.S. I was sort of underwhelmed by Noyonika's scene with Harshad , i don;t know why I was looking for something else. Probably Abhishek's acting . 😆
Why you be looking for things that are non-existent Genie? Learn. We shouldnt expect anything from this guy -_- - That scene was so thanda - the only saving grace was Kishwer there. Parth being confined to a bed performed magnificently with Kishwer - I am telling you, these two are really good with each other. An easy camaraderie shines.
As for Nyonika vs. Nandani - You know what. I LOVED THAT NANDANI WAS UNDER THAT BLANKET listening to all of this - It is going to get her thinking SO MUCH. Nandu she is, after all. She will question and ponder, and have another reason to not leave Manik's side. Especially with a mother like that, she wont be able to part from him...(Lost boy - Maan gaye)...
and as for the future - So far, Manik Malhotra has not really loved or been as much invested in an emotion or in someone to really have a reason to fight again Nyonika...He let her go play along as long it didn't harm his friends or himself too much - With Nandani, EVERYTHING CHANGES. He will fight her off in every possible way - I can just feel it. And, with a girl like Nandani in his life...his support system is already so strong...I cannot wait for him to emerge from all of this. Nyonika..Harshad...Childhood...Missing Father...SO MUCH.
