Like, Somewhere in Baba's mind, he is being an insecure Fu*k. Seriously, He is not made for all this sacrifice and crap. I have been thinking how we were told that they never show cliches. Half of his brain is doing it for Dhruv, but the other half is just full of insecurities. Thinking, Oh she used to like Dhruv so much, and now Dhruv loves her -- What if she leaves me for him? What if she thinks he is better than me for her? She already has told me so many times that Dhruv is so much better.
He just got an opportunity, somewhere he knows he is testing her. Even if he won't admit and keep pretending that this is not it. He is testing her, and has already made up his mind about the result.
