It was not even him it was baba who desperately wanted to know whether she is okay or not

Not twisted -- more like confused or even testing Manik. Like, Manik completely blasted him for keeping one secret and they have this thing where they should not be keeping secrets from each other, they understand the need for it.

Dhruv might just be confused and then wanted Manik to do the same as he had asked of him. To tell the truth and not keep secrets. Whati f he wants Manik to come forward and tell it himself, confess to Dhruv that buddy, I am sorry but she is mine and I am hers ...
