few brave heart stories at manan AT, I felt like this our society needs
angry bird jandis and not compassionte nandinis. (Nandini is only
reason why I watch this show)
jun pyo was best written bad boy in the world, if he did mistakes,he
regretted for that, I am proud of him, I love him.
ji hoo was best 2nd male lead, he had spine, I also love him.

p.s:someone said bof was shit, in manan AT,because by saying they never
justified ragging. Girl do you know more than 60% of indian colleges ragging
occurs. Specially so called great govt.IITS AND MEDICAL COLLEGES,I have
gone through one of them, ragged by ppl of good families (not broken)
With I.q. of more than 95.they used to rag us for sake of fun.raggers
and bullies never need justification. But best part of bof was episode
11 and 12 where bully jun pyo meets his sin mirror shower, makes him
regret his mistakes. Which I completely doubt here.

Dude, you don't show up at Niti's AT, or my reviews, or anywhere else! And today I made a post to clear the air regarding the baseless comparisons b/w KYY and BOF- AND HERE YOU ARE! -____-

Regarding your views on BOF and it's characters, well they're completely yours and I respect that. But my two cents on them- 1. Jun Pyoo CANNOT, by any means be termed as a 'bad boy'. The writers ruined his character by sugar-coating him and turning him into an outright Romeo!

2. Jan Di and Nandini are INCOMPARABLE. You've said that yourself. Our society doesn't needs either angry-birds or compassionate people from the fictional world- just human beings who can stand up for themselves and deal with their shit with their heads held high.

I know how strongly you feel about bullying, but the girl was right who said that bullying was never justified in BOF (again my POV). KYY is not justifying it, only explaining it. The people you're talking about- well lets just say that EVERY human being have this hidden need to feel powerful. Some resort to bullying to feel that power.

Really nice take on the episode!!! Your POV is different than what anyone of us might have thought. But now that I think of it, it seems possible. The whole concept is actually deeper than it looks or so I hope it to be.. :D

Shelly🤗 A different kinda review today.. not the daily wala fun filled one! But I agree with you cent per cent!

My heart went out to Aliya today.. & Mukti as well.. the girls nailed it!

Dhruv's 93 days & 93 flowers is actually cheesy..reminds me of the old Aliya who'd remember all silly anniversaries😆

beech ka 10 mins or so I'm yet to watch! Thanks to MTV's carelessness! :/

Off to MaNan dreamland

Good night girls..tata.

I think yours is one of the most anticipated posts on this forum!👏 Anyway totally agree.

I really hope Manik doesn't take the 'don't love my 'enemy route' with Mukti because frankly the Fab 5 can take the same route with him and Nandu.😉 But I think after the initial freak out Manik will go into papa bear mode once again and try to help/protect/save Mukti. poor girl needs a big hug and a long visit on the therapist couch.

Cabir... god, he needs a hug too... Maybe he and Mukti can go hug it out. i feel so bad for what's about to go down. Even if the video somehow gets deleted, the fact is Harshad knowing is a big enough threat.😕

Navya... girl needs a shake. I just... UGH!I hope that when she comes out and realizes how he used her she surprises everyone with her strength and gives Harshad exactly what he deserves.😡

Aaliya...I agree with you . she is impressing me more and more. I feel like she is coming out and finally showing us who she really is. But she also needs a hug [can you tell I'm a hugger?😛]

And finaly, finally, the best for last- Manan!😳 SUCH a great episode... so glad they got their feelings out. Just goes to show you don't need to say 'I love you [or i think i li love you]' in order to express love because love is more then those three words and everything that Mamik asked for and said and Nandu said just goes to show about the depth of connection.

I have to say that i just don't think it's headed in a sacrifice/revenge track here. I think that the promo is misleading... watch Nandu's Manik is going to pull himself back from becoming Monster Manik and try to give Dhruv a chance to explain himself to Manik's Nandu without telling of his own feelings for her.

Nandhini will be surprised to say the least by Dhruv and I think her main priority , like Manik's, will be to not hurt Dhrv too much when turning him down. And then I think Manan will try to sort out what to do... which just means they will hide their relationship still because i don't think they will tell about their feelings for each other to the others in order to not seem like they are rubbing Dhruv's face in it.

I am okay with that as long as they are still together. After everything they shared, after the fireflies and the confession I don't think either of them are going to ignore their feelings anymore...even for Dhruv's sake.

They will have so much to focus on with the impending implosion of the Fab 5 that no matter what happens Manik will need Nandu to keep him sane so though I expect angst , considering the pacing of this show i know we will all be back dreaming in Manan land before long!😊

This is @least what I really hope will happen.😉

Lastly... i gotta ask... what happened to Shahid? Did he play the drums and then walk off? 😳 RANDOM!

Sorry for the long post but I had to get it all out! Back i go to hit the rewind button!

I can't put my finger on it but even the previous scene when Manik notices dhruvs changed look it seemed a bit off. It's good Dhruv was snarky but still it didn't feel like a friendswala retort.

Ya that Manik Dhruv interaction after Dhruv's makeover...I felt Dhruv is no more that close/ no more loves Manik like he used to... after Manik broke up with Alya. He is like giving more time to Alya so that she feels better. Even in precap I didnt like the way Dhruv asked Manik not to interfere.

Shells - YOU have said everything. There really is nothing else for me to add. There is a reason why this show is named "Kaisi Yeh Yaarian" & NOT "Ishq Ne Maar Daala". It has always been about individuals, friendship, relationships, with a hint of romance and all. Let the turmoil be because of the desconstruction of Fab5 and how they rebuild themselves as individuals, and the come together. THAT is what I want to see. Lets hope the writers work towards that :D

P.s - I am so tweeting this post to Vikas. Hope thats okay :D

The only reason why I started watching Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan was because of the fact that it was an adaptation of Boys over flowers, a series I was obsessed with and have watched at least 2 dozen times. The initial two episodes disappointed me and I stopped watching it. But few weeks back a friend of mine was talking about KYY in a positive manner, and I started watching it again and even watched all the episodes I missed. I agree with you, apart from a few similarities KYY is nothing like BOF. But I like BOF for its exotic locations and the way the characters were projected.

Am I the only one here who saw the precap and thought, "OMFG! He's gonna say 'Tum kaise pyaar kar sakte ho usse, You're an ALIEN." 😆😆😆

I've always felt it's like a mashup of BOF, You're beautiful and Heartstrings.

See, the FAB 5 and the ragging stuff from BOF.
The "be your servant" track and Nandini's general personality (Not too in-yo-face types, stands up for what she thinks without unnecessarily fighting, understands others POV) reminds me of Shin-Hye's character in Heartstrings.
And Dhruv is somehow based more on the template of Yong Hwa's character in You're beautiful rather than Hyun-Joong's in BOF.

But I like the way they're treating KY2. It's like a blend of all the good things taken from these shows, so I don't actually mind.
