yes, I felt manik was slowly discovering a hidden part of himself in this process of falling in love!

he had this look of pure unadulterated happiness on his face...manik has always been the type of person who cared more about his friends than anything else...it was time that he himself look out for his source of comfort, the person who brings out the real manik in him and not the perceived rich arrogant rockstar of the college.

nandini brings out a side of him that nobody has ever witnessed, i guess not even manik himself! he looks pleasantly surprised at the changes he finds in his attitude and interactions...i love how innocently he professed that he wasn't in the mood for lying, he didn't want to hide the fact that it was nandini that made him aware of cabir's secret and that he trusts her wholeheartedly.

They say, the true test of love is when you go through difficulties and learn to overcome them together...trust doesn't come easily to manik and now I fervently hope that their bond is strong enough to weather the storms that would result out of the havoc created by harshad.

Just happiness that shines from their eyes, their actions, their unspoken words, and their smiles. Them thinking about the other at night was beautiful. It has never come that far for me to be this attached to fictional characters, yet, I am here, hoping & praying Ke Itti Khushi Ke Baat, give them the strength to face the hurdles ahead, so that their smiles & this joy remains unfaded, unaffected. They deserve just that, each other & pure happiness.

I see the two of them, and my heart just swells with pride, jump in joy..and shudder with fear.

I see Baba and Nandu, so happy in their unsaid, making promises of finally giving words to what they feel, blissfully unaware of the reality that is harsh and just waiting to sweep in and turn everything upside down. I see them with their thoughts occupied with just one and other and I wish, I desperately wish likr a selfish fool for the time to just freeze so that they can remain like this..happy, dreamy, believing..

But then I see them again, making a home in each other. With stars in his eyes and fireflies in her touch..the glow they have when they are together. The way he said he didn't feel like lying about her, the way she laughed after giving him the promise for tomorrow. The way they dance around their feelings, letting them flow but keeping them in check at the last minute, making the moment all the more special. The way his music is a melodious representation of what she makes him feel, the way her heart speeds at his mere mention. It's bliss, it's beauty, it's Nirvana. And it's temporary.

But I see all this and I say, come what may. The darkness of thousand years can be gone with just one flicker of light. And them? They have become light after yearning for it for all their life. Whatever that is written in theit future, they gonna fight it. Stand tall, face on, conquer it. For what they feel for each other...it's not gonna go away so soon and just like that. It's a one in a million connection and they no fools to let it go..
