The grave silence between Fab5 and NH3 was broken by Cabir's voice.
"Well, this isn't awkward at all." Cabir said sarcastically.
They all looked at each other a bust out laughing. Fab5 and NH3 were sitting together at Alya's and Harshad's backyard. All were there except for Shahid and Nandini. Shahid got sick, again and Nandini got caught up with work at home but promised to join later.
This get together was arranged by none other than Alya. She thought if both the groups spent time together their problem might dissolve and mostly it will show support for Dhruv and Nandini's new relation.
But there is only a slight problem, none of the groups could stand each other.
After Alya finally managed to stop laughing, said "Okay guys, I know it's tough but we should at least give it a shot."
"Baas esehi? I think we should get some drinks first. To loosen up a bit." Manik suggested.
"Yeah good idea." Mukti agreed.
"Lekin hum nahi pite..." Navya said in a low voice.
Cabir and Mukti looked at her in irritation but their eyes almost came out their socket when they heard Alya say "Oh! Tum aur Nandini to drink nahi karte ho so I will make some smoothies for you guys."
Now everyone was looking at her as if she grew a second head.
"What?" She asked frowning.
"Wow Alya you...changed." Harshad said looking at his sister in awe.
"Shayeed yeh Alya hi nahi hain. What if kisi alien gang ne Alya ka kidnap kar liya aur usska koi clone bejh diya? Oh crap! Manik police ko phone kaaar!" Cabir said dramatically.
"Shut up Cabir!" Alya threw a cushion at him.
Everyone started laughing again.
"Whatever! I'm going inside." Alya huffed and stood up.
"Hey wait up. I will help you." Manik stopped laughing but a smile was playing on his lips.
At hearing his words Alya's eyes also lit up with happiness and they both went inside.
As the others watched their retreating back Mukti said "Cabir kuch kar na.It's so boring. Mujhe nind a rahi hai. At least set up the music system."
"Tujhe nind arahi hai? Are you alright? Kuch khaya hai kaya tune?"
Mukti knew Cabir said that jokingly but she could feel Harshad's questioning gaze on her.
"Mei...Mein kaya khayungi? What are you talking about? Just set up the music system okay and I will go and freshen up." She replied a bit harshly.
"Kar rahi hun baba. Itna kharush hone wali konsi baath hain?" Cabir muttered but Mukti didn't listen as she was already walking towards the house.
Harshad suddenly stood up as if he got a shock and looked towards the house.
"Aab tujhe kaya hua?" Cabir questioned.
"Who...mera phone mere room mein hi reh gaya, main leke ata hun." and he also started jogging towards the house.
As Cabir was setting up the sound boxes his eyes fell on Navya, fidgeting with the end of her dupatta, and without his knowledge a smile took place on his lips.
Still fidgeting with her dupatta Navya looked up and saw Cabir smiling at her. Instantly she traveled back in time and remembered the moments what happened to her when he smiled. As she looked around she realized it was only her, Cabir and Dhruv. So she stood up but a bit shakily.
"Hu...Hum was...washro...room hoke a..aa..ate hain." she finally managed to say and practically ran from there.
"Mene kuch nahi kiya." Cabir said looking at Dhruv, before he could blame him.
Dhruv noticed the interaction between them and said. "Kuch to kiya. Tune usse dekh k smile kiya." and he himself gave a teasing smile.
"Kaya?" Cabir asked dumbly.
"Yep. It looks like I'm not the only one who is in love with the supposed to be enemy."
Cabir looked at Dhruv for a while, before he started to laugh, rolling on the ground.

Alya and Manik were at the kitchen preparing drink and smoothies.
"Why are you doing this?" Manik asked out of the blue.
"What? The smoothies?" Alya asked in confusion. "Umm...you know Navya and..."
"No!" Manik cut her off "I mean yes, this too, caring for them and helping out Dhuv and Nandini. Why?"
"What do you mean by why? Dhruv is not only your friend. And Nandini and Navya, well I know they are commoners, and look like behenjis, tries to act smart but fail miserably and their fashion sense. Oh My God don't sta..." She trailed off when she looked at Manik. "Sorry I drifted off but apart from that they are nice." Alya finished with a weak smile.
Manik chuckled "If you didn't complain about them, then I would have believed Cabir's alien theory."
"Manik!" Alya gave a playful punch on his shoulder but kept on smiling. "And secondly I know what's being in love is and also know the ache of not getting that person." She said pointedly.
"Alya..." Manik started but she stopped him.
"Manik when I said I'm sorry I meant every word of it."
"Yeah and I'm not angry at you."
"And I'm still trying...Wait! What?"
Manik smiled "I forgive you."
Alya's face broke into a wide grin as she pulled him into a hug. Still smiling Manik also hugged her back.

Harshad saw Mukti entering Alya's room and went after her.
When he opened the door his doubts were confirmed as he saw Mukti close her mouth and put her hands behind her back to hide something from his view.
"Kaya chupa rahi ho?" Harshad asked but she didn't reply just shook her head from side to side.
As he started entering the room Mukti started to take each step backwards but soon regretted it as her back hit Alya's wardrobe.
Before she could move Harshad came close and trapped her. She couldn't even push him away as her hands were still at the back hiding what she wanted to hide.
"Nahi bataogeye?" Harshad asked one last time.
Mukti was transfixed by his intense eyes that she didn't even move her head to answer and before she knew it his lips crashed onto her's. As a reflex she brought her hand from behind and tried to push him away but he was too strong for her. Instead Harshad captured her wrists and pulled her closer.
Mukti could fell the fire burning inside her. No matter how much she tried she couldn't help the urge to kiss him back. Though she knew it was a lost battle but she still tried but soon found herself give in as she slowly started to kiss him back.
Harshad let go of Mukti's hands and wrapped his own around her waist, now with her free hands Mukti pulled the collar of his shirt, bringing him closer. Trying to act like a gentleman Harshad nibbled on her lower lip, asking permission to enter her mouth but as stubborn as she was Mukti denied.
Harshad now moved from her lips to jawline and when he reached her weak spot at the neck he gave a small bite which made Mukti moan. Being the opportunist, Harshad went back to her lips only now his tongue was dancing inside her mouth.
As Mukti started to melt on his hands Harshad pulled back and took some steps backward. Mukti was left dazed and it took some seconds for the reality to hit her. When it did the feeling she felt was anger, first on Harshad for kissing her, second on herself for kissing him back and third again on Harshad to back away from the kiss.
Harshad was looking livid, his eyes were burning as they bore into Mukti's. Then he spit at the floor and threw something along with it. With a horrified expression Mukti realized it was a melting tablet and few steps away from it was a stack of tablets. She was so into the kiss that she didn't even realize when Harshad took away the tablets from her which she tried her best to hide. Finally she looked up and for the first time in years she was afraid of him.
Harshad's face turned red as he was shaking with anger. His hands closed into fists and with the speed of light he smashed his right hand into the near by wall.
By now Mukti was scared to hell, but it worked differently for him because he closed his eyes, took some deep breaths, slowly calming down. Harshad straightened up and again looked at Mukti but this time his eyes showed less anger and more of hurt and helplessness.
"Why are you doing this to yourself? Again?" His voice came out cold but dead serious.
Mukti recovered from her scared state and regained her voice as she swallowed a lump and finally managed to say "It's none of your damn business to keep your nose out of it."
"It is my damn business! Don't you remember last time?"
"Yeah, so? We are not together anymore so stop interfering in my life."
Harshad was looking at her with a blank expression, his mind running a thousand miles. He knew it was his last chance, to sort everything out, to stop Mukti from hurting herself.
"Fine! I will. Just one condition. Stick to our deal and after that I will not bother you again."
"What deal?"
"Don't you remember? Our deal to go on a date."
The memories of last night came back to her when she agreed to go on a date with this jerk so he doesn't ruin Dhruv's confession to Nandini. She very well knew he wouldn't leave her alone till she agreed and anger rising in her she finally made her mind.
"Only one date."
That's all she said before storming out of the room, leaving a smiling satisfied Harshad.

Cabir finally stopped laughing and stood up from the ground.
"Seriously Dhruv tujhe Nandini k payaar ne pagal kar diya hai."
"Nahi, usske payaar ne meri ankhen khol di hai."
"And here I thought love was blind." Cabir replied with a smirk.
Dhruv heaved a sigh "Tujhe jo soch na hai soch. But I learned to know the feelings and this is just the beginning."
"Yea..." Cabir started to say but couldn't finish as something caught his attention on the pool side.
"Kaya?"
"Kuch nahi. Tu teri Nandini k bare mein soch mein abhi aya." and with that he left.

Navya ran from the house to the pool side and sat on one of the benches beside the pool. She put her head on her hands as tears kept on falling from her eyes.
At first she went inside the house and saw Harshad entering a room and thought to follow him. When she took a peek inside she froze. There the boy she loved was kissing her enemy. Navya's vision blurred as tears started to form, finally she tore her gaze from the heart breaking scene and ran.
Now as Navya sat there all she could remember were the times when Fab5 ragged her and the moments Harshad saved her from them. Before it used to bring a smile to her face but now it caused her pain beyond imagination.
As memories flashed by and tears kept on falling. Navya heard movement behind her but didn't care to look up but seconds later heard the voice of the last person she want to hear at this moment.
"Aree Madhubala ji aap yeha akele kaya kar rahein hai?" Cabir said as he walked towards Navya.
He himself didn't know what he was doing here but as soon as he saw Navya coming or more like running here he couldn't help it. There was something about this girl that pulled Cabir towards her. The answer he gave himself was that he loved teasing her but deep inside he knew it wasn't the whole truth but never bothered to think about it.
When Navya didn't reply Cabir continued "Ek baath bataayun, I missed you. Kitne din hogaye humari thik se baath bhi nahi huye, kinte din hogayen mene koi video nahi banaya. Aab Dhruv aur Nandini ka naya relation hai lekin humara purana relation badaal na nahi chahiya. Thik kaha na?" Cabir asked with a smirk.
Now he stood infront of Navya but couldn't see her face as her hands were covering it.
"Madhubala ji cehera kiyun chuparahen hai?"
By now Navya's tears were out of control. No matter how much she tried she couldn't stop it. She removed a hand from her head and pressed it to her mouth to stop the noise of the sniff.
Seeing that Cabir teased more "Aree kaya huya? Ulati arahi hai? Pregnant ho? Tum to kafi fast nikli yaar." he gave a small laugh "Baap kon hai, Harshad ji?"
Navya's blood boiled. She looked up still tears coming out of her eyes and seeing this Cabir was taken aback. He didn't realize she was crying all this time.
"Navya I..."
"Humhe, tumse nafrathhai."
And without even realizing it she broke the second heart of tonight.

Now Dhruv was all alone as he played his guitar. Suddenly he felt another presence and looked up to see the girl who kept on haunting his thoughts. As their eyes meet, a goofy smile spread across both of their faces.
"Sorry, mene bohath der kar diya. Baki saab kaha hai?" Nandini asked looking around.
"Saab ko koye kaam yaad agaya to saab andar chale gayen."
"Oh." Nandini put down her bag and sat beside him.
This relation was new to them and both of them didn't know what to say so they just sat their hoping that the other one would say something. After a while, unconsciously Nandini started to hum.
"Yeh konsa gaana hai?" Dhruv asked.
"Hain? Yeh gaana who ek movie ka hain. Mene recently suna and it's stuck in my head. Tumne nahi sunha?"
When Dhruv shook his head and said no Nandini pulled out her cell phone from the bag and turned on the music and along with it Nandini again started to hum. Dhruv smiled at her and gave his hand asking her for dance. Nandini was a bit surprised but smiling shyly she accepted it.
Both of them started to swing with the music.
Naina nu pata hai, Naina di khata hai (The eyes know that it is their fault)
Saanu kis gal di phir, Mildi sazaa hai (Then why am I being punished for it)
Neend ud jaave, chain chhad jaave (Sleep disappears, rest goes away)
Ishq di faqeeri jad lag jaave (When one gets addicted to love)
Nandini remembered the time when Dhruv came to her house to return a piece of her father's pen. She stayed up all night thinking about him, how sweet he was, how different he was from all others.
Ae mann karda ae thagi thodiya (The heart does mischief)
Ae mann karda ae seena zoriyaan (The heart is stubborn)
Aine sikh laiyaan dil diyaan choriyaan (It has learned the art of stealing heart)
Ae mann diyaan ne kamzoriyaan (But the heart still has some weaknesses)
Dhruv's heart was stubborn because he and Nandini had many problems before but his heart never let him forget her. He was having flashback, when he had his first fight and that too for this beautiful girl in front of him. He couldn't bear to see her getting hurt and he knew she was his strength as well as his weakness.
Mann mann ki sunta jaaye (The heart listens to itself)
Sunta nahin mann waalon ki (But it does n't heed to person whom it belongs to)
Mann hi mann mein banaaye (Inside the heart it creates)
Duniya ek khayaalon ki (A dream world of it's own)
Their heart listened to itself and that's why they are together. The dream world that it created finally became a beautiful reality as they now have each other.
Nandini's hands were holding onto Dhruv's neck and his hands were on her waist keeping her close. Their foreheads were touching and looking deeply into each others eyes. Her beautiful eyes gave him the courage to say what he feels for her.
"I love you."
Nandini's heart gave a leap as she finally heard Dhruv say the three words that she had been dreaming to hear. A smile spread across her face. She tiptoed and softly kissed the lips from which those three sweet words came, making it final that they were together. They were each others.
